There are a number of features and services I particularly appreciate about Muskegon Brake. First, they always do what they say they will do when they say they will do it for the price at which they said they would do it! Second, they are excellent at diagnosis. This means they figure out what is really wrong and only but always fix that! Third, they have unique services like the free ride from the shop back to your business when you drop your vehicle off and a free pick-up when your vehiicle is finished. Also, the service advisors speak in plain English when explaining what needs to be done to guys with no under the hood expertise, experience, or enthusiasm!! Finally, they are fairly priced in a very price sensitive industry. I dont always expect them to be the cheapest in town, but I do expect them to be competitive and they always are! I was incredibly pleased with my experience at Muskegon Brake & Tire. I was in Muskegon on an overnight trip when my car was disabled. Needless to say, I was worried about being taken advantage of by a local mechanic. I was referred to Muskegon Brake and Tire by AAA and I could not be happier with the service. Everyone was very polite and treated me with respect. I was informed at all stages of the repair process and they even provided me with shuttle service to Panera bread so I could continue to work while my car was being serviced. Within two hours, I was back on the road and headed home at a reasonable price. Upon checkout, the serviceman went over a complete checklist of some other areas that I might want to look into once I got back home. There was never any pressure and I felt I was in good hands at all times. Two big thumbs up to Muskegon Brake and Tire.

Muskegon Brake & Tire hosted a Wheels, Women and Wine night, I attended and brought a couple other ladies with me. It was a fantastic educational and enjoyable event. Justin did a fantastic job explaining your car and all the parts that they inspect when you take your vehicle in to be serviced there. I later took my sons newly purchased used vehicle to them, they inspected it thoroughly and Steve was wonderful about emailing me estimates and explaining what is of the utmost importance to fix for safety. That for me, being the mom, was fantastic. The shuttle service was great, while the car was there, I did not miss any work, in fact I was shuttled by the owner, now that is customer service at its highest! Every member of the Muskegon Brake & Tire Team made this a wonderful experience and extremely educational, not just another car service shop, this is the best!!

Last week I brought my Kia Rio in to Muskegon Brake due to a check engine light. I was impressed when they had the problem diagnosed in under 45 minutes. They took the time to explain to me what was wrong, how long it would take to fix it and how much it would cost. Having a very busy life and doing a lot of driving for my job, they were happy to offer me a loaner car. They are so efficient it only took 5 minutes to get the loaner car and walk out the door. When I returned for my car they had all the paperwork ready for me and I was back in my car in less than 5 minutes! Their staff was courteous and quick and they stand behind their work. I would HIGHLY recommend Muskegon Brake for your car needs.

I recently took my car to Muskegon Brake for repairs. My car needed several repairs done to it, but Muskegon Brake talked to me, in detail, about what was most important and needed to be done immediately to prevent more damage. They are the first Auto Repair shop that have explained to me the maintenance that was done and what was needed. They also gave me estimates for auto repair work that I asked about. Helping me to obtain financing for some the auto repair work was truly a blessing. Thank you Muskegon Brake. Youll be seeing me again, soon.

Always fantastic service with a smile. My power steering was acting up and I though it would take a flush to correct the problem. They could have easily charged me for a flush and later repaired the real problem which was the pump. However, they printed me a detailed list of the cost of what the repair would cost and that it was safe to drive and did NOT need to be replaced yet. I would recommend Muskegon Brake and Tire for honest affordable auto repair and service!!

My wife and I recently began taking our cars to Muskegon Brake & Tire for service, and we have been thoroughly impressed! So far, we have gotten oil changes there and one set of tires. Each time were in the shop, the staff is friendly and attentive. The quality of work is great, and they really pay attention to detail. I will be taking my cars to Muskegon Brake & Tire for all my automotive service needs from now on!

Went here because i seen all the excellent reviews and was VERY diapointnted. I had an oil leak and i wanted it fixed the man looked at my car and came back a hour later telling me that i needed a new engine that was going to cost me 3800.I had just bought a new engine 4 months ago. I took it to the shop down the street and it only cost me 235 to get the leak fixed and its been running like new again.

I was able to take my vehicle to the new Spring Lake location. They were knowledgeable in finding where the problem was located (transmission) and they considered the work done as a free diagnostic instead of pinching pennies and charging me for identifying the problem. This location worked well for me and I didnt have to wait long to get in for service. Thank you for opening the new location!

Friendly service, fair prices, good work. Curt, at their Spring Lake location, is one of the best front-end managers of any garage I have ever dealt with. No one likes spending money to fix a broken car, but he makes it much more tolerable. I would recommend Muskegon Brake & Tire to anyone.
