I am really not a person to complain, but I definately feel the need to share my recent experience at this salon. Yesterday, I had an appointment with Sheila for an eyebrow wax, tint, and lash tint. My appointment started 15 minutes late and she didnt apologize ... minor transgression .... I showed up with makeup on which needed to be removed in order to have my eyelashes and brows tinted. I was hoping that, as someone who works with delicate skin on the face, that Sheila would use gentle products and a soft cloth. Unfortunately, she used harsh soap and an extremely rough wash cloth which she used to SCRUB my eyes. It was extremely painful and unpleasant. The waxing process was awful and painful and she didnt put any sort of soothing cream on after. The hair dye burned horribly on my eyelashes and, again, she used an extremely rough wash cloth to remove the dye when the time came. Lastly, she slopped hair dye all over my eyebrows ... Im dont even think she made an effort to keep the dye on my eyebrows because when she finished, I had black stains all over my forehead, sides of my face, and general eyebrow region... she did succeed at coloring my eyebrows... but unfortunately dyed my face as well. When I finally got up from the table and looked in the mirror, I was horrified and embarrassed to leave the room due to the black stains all over my general eyebrow region. She acted like everything was fine so I quickly paid my bill ($61, mind you) and left. The girl at the counter clearly saw the black all over my face and didnt say a word. Luckily, I had some color remover at home which I used to remove the extra black dye that had been slopped all over my face. Did I mention that she was super unprofessional, didnt shut up, and answered her phone during my appointment? Ive also been here for an extremely mediocre massage. The room was not relaxing and the service was not enjoyable at all. Moral of the story? Do NOT waste your time or money here. Sheila is the absolute worst person you could ever let touch your face - especially for the price of $61.

At first Suzie (the owner of the salon) did a great job on my hair but over a short period of time she started to get lazy. The last time I went in she had 3 clients going at one time. This was very bad service and very rude to clients. She was rushing between the 3 of us with cutting, coloring and doing extensions. She ended up making my bleach blonde hair a brassy orange color and chopped off almost all my hair into a pixie cut when I had a picture as reference as the style that I wanted. I was charged $330 for these services. I went back in the same day to get some keratin extensions put in and try to get the color fixed. The keratin extensions were so poorly put in they are falling out piece by piece (this is not the first time this has happened with her). I paid another $250 for the fix. My hair looks absolutely terrible almost like something you would expect from a "great clips" type of place. The owner also is constantly pushing and pushing for you to get other services done like permanent makeup, lip injection, products, etc. I will no longer be returning to this salon in the future and would not recommend it to anyone unless you want to pay top dollar for amateur work.

Suzi and her assistant did an amazing job for my wedding. There was 6 girls who needed hair or makeup or both. She even fluffed my aunts hair to make it more presentable for the occassion :) I felt like a princess when all was completed. She was very prompt, attentive to all requests, matches styles each person was looking for. Couldnt have asked for better service. The only negative experience was pricing, however, which did not stay consistent throughout the ordeal. From the understanding at time of booking Jan 2016, a Bridal Delux package would cost $200 with $100 deposit down (hold the date), and remaining $100 due for service. Ended up paying $400 in the end (including the $100 travel fee). For the Bridesmaids, original cost for makup (w/lashes) was $45 but ended up charging $65 each. Other than that, the overall outcome was achieved!

I stopped in as a walk-in today to see if anyone was available. I had time and needed a cut and frequently dont have the patience or schedule that is conducive to making appointments. Luckily, a stylist named Suzanne was available. Ashley got me washed and combed and Suzanne came out to cut it. She asked if it was a trim and I said, "sort of." I didnt want length cut off but needed shorter layers and my long side-sweeping bangs fixed. She spent about 10 minutes cutting then Ashley blowed-dried me. Ashley was great, Suzanne not so much. I felt like she was annoyed that she had to cut my hair. I should add that this 10 minute cut cost $50! I was looking for a permanent stylist in the area. I think I will keep looking!

I have had the great fortune to have found Alandre Salon in Northville , MI 14 years ago. The owner, Suzie, and staff ,(Dana), are simply put "Are the best." !! I have been to salons all over the U S, including New York City, and have never had such high quality, professional, work on my hair! On many occasions they have altered their schedule for me, come in on short notice when something has come up last minute. Every day I receive compliments on my hair style, and color. Within this salon I have found great friend that truly make me feel like a Queen everytime I walk out the door. Its hard to find a good colorist that use a top of the line products and slander does Schwartzcof is what they use

Alandre Salon did an outstanding job on my wedding day hair and makeup. I booked an appointment with Alandre without even doing a practice round and was confident from the start that they would do a great job. My close family and I all started the wedding day out here together. They immediately offered us drinks and made us feel like a priority. My mom and grandma said they had such an incredible salon experience here. I absolutely loved what Suzie did with my hair and makeup, it was an up-to-date look. We all looked incredible and would recommend this salon to anyone. They really make you feel and look glamorous!

I had recently moved home from college and needed to find a new salon. This salon is near my house and seemed nice. Ray did my hair and it was terrible. He kept saying he had all these ideas for my hair and what he wanted to do. Well, I told him what I WANTED and let me tell you...I got nothing that I asked for. After saying that I was trying to grow my hair back out he chopped about 4 inches off and yes I wanted highlights, but he died my whole hair blonde. And now its this brassy ugly color when I used to have the perfect color. All I have to say is that I will NEVER go back there. And it was WAY overpriced!
