Ran into an issue a few months ago where I had to get my girlfriends car fixed without running a claim through her insurance. Initially, the plan was to take her car to HCC however, on the way there our tow truck driver convinced us to take it to Garys Collision in downtown Rochester instead. He insisted Gary did "the best work". Well... that was a terrible idea, to say the least. Not only do we feel like we were over-quoted, but Gary didnt even put the vehicle on a lift to inspect it, yet went on to tell us that he would need the car for at least a month. Feeling helpless, we had the car re-towed to HCC, suspecting we may hear something similar, if not the exact same. But, we had no choice. We had to try. Upon meeting Chris Hamroch and his mechanic Pete, we knew that her car would be in good hands. Chris immediately empathized with our situation, gave us some hope, and said he would get the car up on a lift to inspect right away. First impressions speak volumes and as such, we gave Chris the green light after receiving our initial quote later that day. From the beginning, Chris was upfront, honest and timely with all repairs and costs, and he continued to keep us well-informed throughout the entire process. He even finished the work under a tight deadline, delivering the car a few days before the promised time. Talk about over-delivering. Ive dealt with numerous body shops over the years and Ive never had a good experience until meeting Chris. He was transparent throughout the process and his mechanic Petes work is so good, you cant even tell there was ever a problem. Looks and feels just like a new car. If I ever have similar issues in the future, I wont take my car anywhere but here. Thanks again Chris! You are the consummate professional and we are very thankful for all of your help.

Whether you know a lot or very little about body repair and small business, it is in your best interest to consider Hamlin Collision. The owner (Chris) has assembled a very experienced and talented staff that has years of experience that together have created an excellent business model that can offer the highest quality of workmanship for the lowest competitive cost. They do not have the high corporate overhead/bureaucracy/legacy costs and it will benefit you. This was very apparent to me when I was offered a quotation for a repair. Don’t let the few years of ‘open for business’ influence your choice. These guys have been and will be around for a long time. Here is why: from the minute I began to ask questions about my options to have body work on a Chrysler Town & Country, it was apparent to me, that my choices were as much a factor as theirs in what would be the cost of repair. They listen, understand, and communicate very clearly what options exists, what they recommend, and why. It became clear to me (as it will you) that this is whom I want to do business with. They are willing, able, and welcome to working with the customer. The repair I had done, matched what this 2006 vehicle displayed when it was first built. Nothing less than immaculate. Their service over and above what was quoted, expected, and paid for, is why you will also want to write a review. Accommodating my timing needs for a repair, offering me transportation to and from, and handing back keys to car that was 100% cleaner than was given to them shows that these guys are serious about building a strong business. After the experience, you will leave like you would when you finally found a great dentist or pediatrician. When someone asks if you know a good collision place, you’ll gladly tell them about Hamlin.

Outstanding Ownership, Outstanding Work! Took in my 2007 Mustang to have my for some long overdue detailing. Included removing over a dozen door dents, clearcoat scratches, some deeper scratches, and a broken side marker that had to fixed. I explained my situation to the Owner Chris and he took time from his busy schedule to take two different looks at my car (first wasnt washed, second washed) and he took the time to explain what my options were since I was paying out of pocket and not going through my insurance. The end result is something I cannot put into words, currently my car has just under 60k miles and it now looks better than when I bought the car at 16k miles. Dents and marks that Ive had since I first bought the car are actually gone. The work and detail they put into my car is amazing. The work they put into not only outside of my car but the subtle detailing inside my car really made this college students day while on a budget. I will recommend my friends, family, and anyone to Hamlin Collision Center. Chris is an outstanding owner that took the time to listen to me and answered all my questions. What more can you ask for!

We were involved in an accident that left our new SUV on the brink of a total loss. We were apprehensive about repairing the vehicle due to the extent of the damage and initially were pushing for a total loss with our insurance company since we have children and safety was our number one concern. After researching at least ten different repair shops I found that Hamlin Collision was a night and day difference compared to not only the rest that I reviewed, but also seemed far better than my previous experiences with other shops including dealerships. Fast forward to the day we picked up our vehicle and all I can say is that the work that Chris and his team did was amazing; turns out they truly are better than anything Ive experienced. Given the circumstances of such a disruption in your life and this team actually makes the entire experience pleasant; extremely nice and understanding and very meticulous about every detail throughout the process. I will recommend this team to anyone.

I took my Jeep into Hamlin Collision after hitting a deer. When I arrived Chris was at the front desk and welcomed me in and explained what kind of process and materials they use to repair vehicles. Once they received my car, Chris called me about everything that was needed after tear down. He kept me informed every step of the way because he knew Im very particular about my vehicles and I take pride in what I own. All I can say is I highly recommend this place. Its nice that the owner of the company answers the phone and greets you at the front desk. They also use water born paint and paint match as close as possible. If youre a car enthusiast and want to have your vehicle look better than it did when it came in, take it to this place. You will not be disappointed. Chris is a great guy and he takes pride in each and every vehicle that leaves his shop. Thank you for taking care of my car and making sure I was happy each and every step of the way.

I took my vehicle into Hamlin Collision on a referral from a co-worker. I chose them because they had a free loaner car available for me to use while my car was being worked on and I did not have rental coverage on my State Farm Policy. Although I ran into issues with my insurance company and ultimately they decided to declare my van a "total loss" Chris was most helpful during the whole process informative and very patient with me. He even referred me to a private appraisal company to try and more for my van than what State Farm was originally going to pay (and I did). There is no doubt that if I am ever in need of a repair shop again I will go see Chris at Hamlin Collision, as well as refer to anyone I know in need. He was very knowledgeable in his field and was not willing to cut corners on any level. His priority was making sure my van was fixed properly and back to the condition it was when it left the factory.
