Called to have my vehicle towed to this location for service, spoke to John who offered horrible customer service over the phone and treated me as though I was a beggar in need of services that only his shop provided. After calling back 2 hrs later to learn of the location of the tow truck, I was told that a tow truck driver had never left to come to my address. Once this occurred I googled this company online and read the prior reviews, which raised even more red flags for me. At this point, I called the shop back to cancel the tow service, as I did not need any further problems with my vehicle than I was already having. When I called and spoke back with John and told him I was cancelling the request to tow my vehicle to his shop, he responded by telling me "you know what, F*** You!" This exchange confirmed everything that I read about previous encounters with this location and I can say regardless of however much more it will cost me to repair my vehicle somewhere else, to not have to deal with the lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and shady tactics will more than make up the difference in price. Vehicle maintenance is a very serious matter and should only be done by those willing to conduct themselves and their business like professional, which is absent from Michigan Auto. Needless to say, I had skepticism from the very first call I gave this place. Every encounter over the following hrs further validated such and I am GLAD I read the comments here to steer me in another direction.

If you want a shop where they lie to your face, deceive you, and eventually steal parts off your vehicle then this is the shop for you! For two days they had my boyfriend car and kept saying they will get to it blah blah blah. Finally on day three my boyfriend decided not to mess with them because they were acting shady and he went to retrieve his car. He goes to the shop and they demand $500.00 even though we know they did nothing plus they were suppose to just check out what was wrong. It was never any talk of having them fix anything. Now if you claim you didn’t get to the car when we called on day two when did you find the time to do $500.00 dollars of work on day 3? When my boyfriend refused to pay they threatened to hold the car hostage! So my boyfriend took his car and left all the while they were acting like they were going to call the police. I was just glad my boyfriend didnt catch a case because these as***** were asking for it. Anyway a week later we had a friend look at the car and low and behold the catalytic converter was missing. Those as****** at the shop stole it, we were livid!!! Please heed my advice don’t trust the scumbags at this shop. Oh and don’t believe the positive reviews someone from the shop obviously wrote them.

DO NOT BRING YOU CAR HERE!!!!!!. Please I brought my car in because it was shaking that was fixed but as soon as I pulled out there was a weird noise when I braked like the anti locks were coming on. I circled right back and the manager named George told me that it was a piece missing to hold my driving shaft in place. Im not a mechanic so I went with what he said. He told me he was going to put the part on no charge he had to order it he would call me. He did not call me, I called and left about 3 messages and my number no call back. I finally just went up there dropped it off about 8 am today and left my number, no one called it was close to 4 pm so I called and they said pick it up. I drive off and the same noise is happening. I drove right back he finally puts a mechanic in the car to hear in and he says its something with the ABS. Me and my boyfriend tell him this noise did not happened until you touched my car it was not there. You did something he says he can give us a quote on it but thats it he wont fix it. If your guys messed up something you need to fix it not push it off on the customer who had already spent over $200 dollars getting one things fixed, you mess up and your trying get me to pay more. Complete scumbag.

This place is terrible for getting a transmission, a year ago i had replaced my transmission and 6 months in, right when the warranty ended the transmission started to have problems, i dont know how they did it but after 6 months the transmission, i started noticing acceleration problems and when i got it checked with another mechanic he said that the transmission that was installed is a used and nearly at bad condition and i paid $1800 for replacing the transmission and my catalyic converter. they do lie to your face like someone in the other comment said, he told me that he would be installing the 100,000 mile transmission and you wont be having problems with the transmission like another 3 yrs and guess what 6 months in and i started having problems. This is Detroit i had to have thought of it before i replaced my transmission here but i was helpless, i was visiting a friend in UDM college and my transmission had failed me. learned a valuable lesson NEVER REPLACE YOUR TRANSMISSION IN DETROIT OR THIS PLACE PLEASE!!!!!! I am writing this comment because $1800 is a lot of money for someone out there and i dont think you guys want to spend $1000 more after 6 months when your warranty and transmission fails you.

So...let me start off by saying BEWARE! My gas guage was not working. I swore that I put gas in it the day before. My car stalled out on the freeway. I had it towed to Goodyear on Wyoming in Detroit. They got my car on Saturday at 1pm and I told them that my gas guage didnt work, they lied and said that the mechanic was looking at it. They told me that they didnt look at my car until Monday a 1pm. By 3pm, they told me that the gas in my car was good and that my car needed a $1200 repair, that is why it wouldnt start. I went out and bought a new car. Meanwhile, I had my car towed home. I put $2.00 worth of gas in my tank and it started right up. I drove it to the gas station and filled it up. I wasted money on Lyft. I wasted money on buying another car. I would have wasted money on giving them 1200 bucks for $2.00 gas. I would let Ray Ray fix my car before these people!
