I will never deal with this place again. Their technician Justin thinks hes an expert on everything and diagnoses issues without even looking at the appliance. He told consumers that both my appliances were unrepairable. They can save themselves the trouble of even putting him a car as he is just as useless in diagnosing issues from the office. I called consumers and requested another company. Their technician actually took the time to review both appliances and get his hands dirty. Amazingly, he said that both issues are easily remedied and ordered the necessary parts. Both my wife and I are satisfied. Take my advice and find another company or if you must use this company, ask for someone other than Justin; youll thank me later.

Waking up one morning to find my kitchen floor soaked, I found a leak in the tube that goes to my refrigerator Icemaker. I went to this store and they sold me the right tubing and a fitting at a reasonable price and offered advice as to what to do. If I had asked them to come out, they could have done it for me, but the owner assured me "You can do this." My floor is now dry, and I have Ice. As for the complaints about charging 40 bucks to push in a part, The workman didnt charge you for pushing in the part. He charged you for the expertise of knowing which part to push. Hes not your family, who might do stuff for free. Hes got his own family. I can respect that. The workman is worthy of his hire. Many thanks to this company

Chose this place, based on Google reviews, when our clothes washer went on the fritz. Repairman, Paul, was here a couple of hours later, quickly diagnosed problem as a bad pump and gave us the cost. He didnt have the part on his truck, so he went back to the office and returned within 10 minutes. He installed the part, explained what he had done, and took his leave. He was courteous and pleasant, and seemed to have done this sort of things hundreds of times before. What we were expecting to turn into a long, painful process was cheerfully resolved in just a few hours. This is our "go to" place for appliance repairs for now on.

The last time we called for home service from Berkley Appliance, it was for a stove problem. The repairman drove exactly one mile to our house, found out that the dummy who made the call (that would be me) had a loose broiler element. Pushed it back in. Charged me $40. Total time it took him to "fix" it: about 30 seconds. I told him that $40 seemed over the top for a two mile round trip and 30 seconds. He was belligerent. Told me that "We cant be driving all over the place for nothing." A call to the store offered no relief. Never again...

I was scheduled an appointment with Berkley Appliance through my Consumers Energy Appliance Protection Plan and after my experience, I will be choosing to use Berkley Appliance in the future! Scheduling the appointment was simple and the technician was on time for both the diagnostic appointment and the installation of ordered parts. While he was in my home, he could not have been more professional, courteous and genuinely nice! I highly recommend Berkley Appliance!

Great and quick service. My refrigerator was leaking, called Berkley Appliance and they came a few hours later. The workman quickly identified the problem, told me the price, and got the parts from his van. I am very impressed at how quickly they came to my house and fixed the issue. I would highly recommend Berkley Appliance.
