I have used Air Conditioning Engineers (ACE) at least 6 times in the 12 years Ive been in my home. They have come out for emergencies, routine maintenance and installations. I recently had our 38-year-old furnace replaced with a high-efficiency Bryant. The salesman that came out to measure and explain everything to me was very knowledgeable, and at no time did I feel pressured to purchase anything. He provided multiple discounts, and that, combined with the rebates, made it feel like I got a reasonable price. It may not have been the lowest, but I dont mind paying for good work and a company I can trust. The installers were very courteous, and after initially tracking a little dirt on the rug, they put down drop cloths, even down the basement stairs, which I told him didnt matter. They took about 5 hours to install the furnace, which was longer than I expected, but it turns out that they were trying to get my humidifier to work the way it is supposed to work, rather than the way it has always worked before. Once I convinced them that I was fine with the original way it worked, they finished quickly and cleaned up thoroughly. I would recommend ACE to my friends, and I have.

The technician came to the house, put his tester on the air conditioner and said we were a little over the normal limit but that was ok. He then went and looked at the heater and said everything looked to be set correctly. He then proceeded to spray out the air conditioner and while it did remove some stuff from the air conditioner, since then the air conditioner has not been working properly. Just this afternoon we returned from work to find the house at a nice and warm 82 degrees when the air is set at 75 degrees. Attempting to place a follow up call and missed closing by 2 minutes so now I have to wait for a call back on Monday while we get to deal with the heat all weekend. Waiting to see what we get told this time.

The call center took their time to help me as a newer home owner to figure out what may be the trouble with my AC unit. Once I scheduled my appointment, which they were able to get to me within the week (two days because I had to wait for a weekend) the technician allowed me to ask questions and he explained in ways that I could understand so that I now know how to take care of my AC. Their fee to come out is $89, which is about $10 more than a few other places I called, however they were the friendliest, most patient, professionals Ive worked with in a long time. Worth every penny! AND the repair was less than $300 (including fee)! When I say call these guys, I mean CALL THEM! They are THE BEST!

Had my annual furnace cleaning with Air Conditioning Engineers. I have been using the company for several years and their work is outstanding. They are trustworthy and reasonable prices with all services. I love their coupons which gives me a discount in heating/air conditioning services. Justin serviced my furnace today and did a great job. Justin provided professional, courteous service and explained and recommended some things for me to do to assist with a healthy and clean furnace for my household. I have been thinking about the whole house humidifier in which he explained the benefits. Thank you Justin for great customer service and outstanding work!!

Air Conditioning Engineer Technician Sean H. arrived timely to accomplish what had for years been a fairly routine inspection of the total system under my ESP maintenance contract, and a changeover from my winter (furnace) to summer (air conditioning) operation. He found a problem at the condenser and a system error code inside. He is very knowledgeable, did an orderly diagnosis, and restored the A/C to full operation, checking all related functions (compressor, filters, blower, refrigerant charge, etc) before departing. A very pleasant, helpful person, we appreciate his work particularly in view of the forecast 90 degree temps predicted this week!

I never put in a review right after a service has been completed. Lets face it one is always happy when something has been fixed. But will the fix last? Now that a month has gone by since the service call and I just received my first electric bill after the service I am elated! Bill went from $269 to $125. So whatever miracle they performed on a 19 year old air conditioner, I am extremely grateful. What I immediately liked about this company is that right off the bat the person on the phone said "Just because it is old does not mean it cannot be fixed." So they werent out to sell me something I might not need. A very big thanks!

My basement flooded and took out the blower motor on the furnace. I had a hard time finding anyone to come out quickly. Then I called Air Conditioning Engineers. They had someone there in a couple hours and they were on time. A tech by the name of Doug came out and quickly diagnosed the problem. He did not have the motor on his truck but was more than willing to go get it to get me back up and running quickly. He was great to deal with and knew what he was doing. I would say the cost was very reasonable as well. Very satisfied and I will be calling them again for any future issues. Thank you Doug and Air Conditioning Engineers!

Tried calling several other companies we had used in the past including the install AC company who could make it out till Monday. This is Thursday by the way. Was thrilled when Lori the scheduler said she could have someone out by 6pm. Was so happy to hear doorbell ring at 5 and greet Sean Hall the technician. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a common electrical failure of the dual capacitator. Had one on board and installed in no time. Thank you all.

This is probably our 10th year with AC Engineers. Scheduling is very easy and they will give a call ahead to help you manage your time away from the home. Their Energy Savings Plan is a good way to keep on top of your home HVAC, ensure it is maintained and in good order before each season. All the techs are professional and courteous.
