We have used Jack Woods Plumbing a few times without an issue but this last one has me really angry. There is a leak in our 2nd floor bathroom. Water spots showed up on the kitchen ceiling, under the bath tub. I called Jack Woods. A truck came over about an hour later with 2 guys in it. One guy came in to take a look. The other guy stayed in the truck the entire time, eating. The guy who came in, looked at the ceiling and looked at the bath tub. He told me to just regrouT the tile in the tub and get a new shower door. Didnt look at the pipes or anything and I had showed him where the access was in a closet we had cleaned out for his appointment. Nope. He was here maybe 10 minutes, assured me repeatedly he didnt believe it was a pipe problem and they left. Keep in mind I scheduled this appointment on Thursday June 2 because we are leaving for vacation on the 10th. I have people staying at the house to take care of pets so I need any potential problem fixed NOW. Fast forward to Tuesday June 6th. My daughter showers and 2 spots in the kitchen ceiling open up and are dripping water. Its not a grout or shower door problem. I call Jack Woods. The guy on the phone is vague. Doesnt remember talking to me. Doesnt sound like there is any record of the guys coming to "inspect" the problem. He cant get anyone back out until next week. Well thats not okay because we arent going to be home and water is dripping. I kept saying "This is why I had your guys come and look! To get the problem fixed!" He just kept repeating no one would come til next week. Totally unacceptable. Totally unprofessional. I found another plumber on Home Advisor who, after hearing my story, came out and worked on that leak - it was in the faucet pipe behind the wall, easily accessible thru the closet. The flooring and ceiling need to be replaced. He has called our insurance company and all of that work will be completed after we get home. But the leak itself, which allowed a stream of water to flow to the flooring under the linoleum every time the we showered or took a bath (there are 4 of us in this house) is fixed for my house guests. Dont use this company because you have about about a 50:50 chance things will be ok when they leave.

Received service from Jack Woods Plumbing to get both outdoor spouts fixed for our hoses. The service agent arrived 30 mins late because he said his knee was acting up so he came into work late, which I understand since she was an older gentleman but it was still bothersome. When he got to the house he stated that he did not feel comfortable working on one of the spouts because he did not think he could complete the job because there was a small area to work with and it would be hard. I accepted this because it is in a cramped spot, but it still took him 20 mins or so taking a look at it to see of he could make it work, all.of this time I was paying him for "labor"z The other spout he fixed in about 5 mins as and we came to find yesterday that his "fix" now leaks behind the drywall in my basement when the spout it turned on. I spoke to a manager about my transgressions about the service and they said they would as refund part of the labor due to the service agent arriving late and not being able to complete the full job requested. This work was done months ago and I have not seen a check or credit from the company. So this was a complete bust on their side. Tl;dr? You should go elsewhere for your service unless you want service that wont last more than a few months.

Had a gas water heater that wouldnt stay lit. The tech showed up on time and was very competent, quickly identified the problem but had to drive back to the shop to get a part. He returned with the $76 part ($55 online) and it was installed in about 15 minutes. The technician did a very thorough job cleaning up the burner chamber and re-assembling the burner. But with 1.5 hours of labor and $76 parts for a total of $180 on a 5 year old heater that would probably cost $500 to replace. Not sure this was money well spent. Overall the prompt and professional service made the price easy to bear. I would probably use them again in the future.

Exceeded my expectations. Customer services is becoming a thing of the past. I go into these things thinking the worst. Not this time. Showed up on time. Neat and professional. Personable and explained what was going on without wasting time. Determined the issue and got to the solution. In less than an hour, the clogged drain was open and running freely. Dave checked the disposal and flushed the lines a couple of times to make sure all was well. Very reasonable rate. Would use again! A+++

We had a non-emergency cold weather related leak. Understandably, due to all the other weather related plumbing issues, I was told it would most likely be a few days until they could get to us. Imagine my delight when I was called that same afternoon & told that someone was on his way. Josh did a great job - he quickly identified the problem, fixed it & tightened up a couple other things in the process. Great service and reasonable price make me a very happy customer. Thank you!

Let me start out by saying how quickly my call was answered... I called at 730am and had a tech out by 1130am. Bill showed up and was prepared for the job and even saved me some money. I thought for sure I would end up replacing a bunch more stuff. He was very friendly and explained everything as he was doing it. Just a really good experience with this company and Bill. Thanks again:)

They told us the day the work would be done. Called us that morning to tell us their arrival time and arrived promptly and completed the job well. Even recommended a slightly different way to do they plumbing over what I had requested, which was an improvement. We had one question for them on our bill which they promptly addressed. Good company to work with.

Their policy is advertised that if one calls the first thing in the morning they will respond that day. A call this morning at 8:05 (which seems to me to be the first thing in the morning) resulted in a response that the earliest available appointment would be Monday. Somehow that does not relate to their policy. Will never use them again.

Ive been able to rely on Jack Woods Plumbing no matter what job I needed done. Even when I was a single woman, they didnt try to take advantage of me. I hate when that happens! When I wanted a more powerful garbage disposal, they put in a commercial model for me at a price close to the home model. Thanks for listening!
