Since the Discount Tire store was so close to my mother in laws home I decided to give Discount tire another try, I have had issues with communication, quality, and pricing with the DISCOUNT TIRE AT HALL RD EAST OF HAYES. So I call ahead of time and talked to Joe at the Van Dyke & 16 store. I told him that her car was a 2004 Buick and it had 16,800 miles on it and all I wanted done was to have the tires broke down off the rims, have the rimes swiped with the SEALANT glue, install new valve stems since she was losing tire pressure (about 10 pounds per tire) since the car is always JUST sitting in the garage. I figured how can they screw this one up??? Joe told me just bring it down TODAY and they would take care of it. So I walk in the store and I get some kid who walks out to the car looks at the tires with 16,800 miles on them and says since they were so old I needed all new tires all the way around. He also tells me that ALL tires lose 1 pound per month. (Really... does he think Im that stupid?) SO now Im pissed and walk BACK into the store and ask for Joe and I find him. I said Joe,... you told me you could provide the service that I requested... He just looks at me and says we dont do any thing with tires that are 6 years old or older.... I said that I told you that over the phone these were the original tires. He said no you didnt. He is a liar!!!! Hence I left the store and went across the street to FIRESTONE TIRE CARE. and they said no problem we can do that service. THEY ALSO SAID THE TIRES WERE PERFECTLY GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One and 1/2 hours later it was ready to go and I spent $76.46 NOT THE COST FOR 4 NEW TIRES AS PER DISCOUNT TIRE. DISCOUNT TIRES SUCK! THANK YOU FIRESTONE TIRE CARE! YOU EARNED MY TRUST. P.S IM A GEAR HEAD I OWN A 69 GTO...

Nickel and dime you. Rude, and charged me 300$ for an 11$ part. Never fixed the problem just kept trying to add on things I didnt need or want done. Said my computer on my car was broke but charged me 90$ + another $30 for electrical and engine diagnostic. How do you check a car for problems if my ecu is not in working condition. I had a bad ignition where I told them specifically not to take the key out. They call me an hour later and tell me the ignition is bad and they took they key out...(and I had to go up there and show them how to turn the key) I just needed my car to start, instead they charged me 300$ for about 20$ worth of work. So now im in the same place where I started just $300 less in my bank account. Not to mention they are not the most pleasant people. Do yourself a favor and get your vehicle serviced somewhere else.

This "Complete Auto Care" took advantage of a simple check and Sam told me he would work with me. They checked more then I had asked and so I was chagred $81. This did not make me happy. Im out money to properly have the car fixed and just feel this Firestone was not fully honesty with me. I wish I could get some money back. Never needed a full inspection and it was my understanding that my car stalling out was a problem, nothing more. Glad to have searched and found better service and a FREE estimate else where. This all could have been a better experience if someone could answer the phone or have a voicemail to leave a message. I understand places are busy, but the only way I could ask questions was to drive up there. Really a waste of time and money. I wont ever go back.

I took my car here a few weeks ago because of a vibration coming from the front passenger side, it was 45 mins before they closed and they all looked at me because they were to lazy to put it on a hoist. I was like "you guys going to give it a look or what?" They sent someone out to the parking lot he looked at the tires and said they werent balanced correctly and that was the problem. Me not being a expert mechanic by any means was not convinced this was the problem at all. I felt like they were just pushing me out the door so they could go home for the day. I took it somewhere else it was my wheel bearing and the front passenger shock was completely bent, so you guys missed out on $1000 I wouldnt be happy if I owned this shop the staff sucks and is very lazy.

Okay customer service and the wait time was very long for what needed to be done. Its never good when a customer has a clear view into the garage and sees mechanics standing around talking while their vehicle sits unattended. Also, make sure when an employee tells me why he cant temporarily put a valve stem in because of a law, he better understand the law fully. According to NHTSA, "a motor vehicle repair business would not be violating 49 USC 30122(b) by removing an inoperative or damaged TPMS sensor and replacing it with a standard snap-in rubber valve stem.” Spending $200 instead of $20 is not a good way to get a repeat customer.

I found a coupon online for a brake job for $100. They told me I needed new calipers and that it would cost $487. They outright lied to me as I didnt need new calipers and they fed me some bullshit about how they would break if they redid my brakes without replacing them. Took it to a friend instead and the calipers were totally fine. Would never go back to them for anything. Avoid this place.
