Five stars given only to show full post!!!! Just an acquaintance of a former customer. My friend had a horrible experience and at first I thought well, no ones perfect, but then I read these reviews and did a little investigation. Turns out most of the good reviews on here really are from employees, the owner himself, and his girlfriend Jacqueline Lauren. I also noticed the towing company and the shop are the same address yet the owner claims theyre separate businesses. Come on. Nice try with that. My friend claimed above all else that she was literally freaked out by the owners creepy behavior. My friend is somewhat dramatic, yet after reading this guys responses, well, lets just say Im posting under an alias. Every business gets bad reviews, yet Ive never encountered a so called "christian" man reacting the way this Jack Jones does. Im sure there will be some disparaging response to this. Thats ok with me. I just wont recommend Two Brothers "christian" run family business to anyone. Repair shops are a dime a dozen anyway. Ok so heres my response to Mr. Jones response. Youve clearly implied in previous posts that these two businesses are separate, in fact attempting to make the reader assume they have nothing in common which is false. Separate tax ids and share holders are formalities. Speaking of which, what in the world do your partners think of your crazy behavior on here? Who is "customer customer" ? A "real" customer chose to go with an alias? Youre telling me a girlfriend would go online and NOT post a great review??? Come on man!! I did not mislead or misrepresent myself or my intentions with my review. In fact, at this junction this isnt even about my friends encounter anymore. I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with you. Please stop proclaiming yourself a christian. Perfection? No. Noone is perfect. A humble spirit and a forgiving heart are the goals of a Christian man. Obviously you exemplify NEITHER of those qualities. Ill pray for you and those you affect. 4/8/16 Oh my and I see now where the girlfriend has edited and shortened her fantastic review. Just my opinion, but when repair shops are all around, why bother with this sociopath? So, the towing company and automotive shop are both located at 1248 Dublin Grandville Road. Where is the site then to write a review specifically for the towing company? Are you saying that you have nothing to do with the towing business? You dont manage or are not responsible for any part of that business? Or, are you trying to negate responsibility and further try to convince readers of your honesty? I too believe in God. Im not in any way attempting to say anything regarding faith in God. What Im saying is that I find it difficult to believe, after reading your reviews and responses, that you really try to exemplify the christian faith at all. In other words, I believe youre lying, youre trying to project a person that you clearly arent. I wont claim to know everything about you, though I do see where youve been arrested more than once for domestic violence, and I really couldnt care less about your income, but since you want to attribute your success to your relationship with God even though your actions clearly do not portray a godly man, Ill say this quote: Sometimes the devil allows people to live a life free of trouble because he doesnt want people turning to God. Their sin is like a jail cell, except its all nice and comfy and there doesnt seem to be a reason to leave. The doors wide open. Till one day time runs out and the door slams shut and suddenly its too late to get out. Perhaps this all came about so that your attitudes and actions can be brought to your attention, and you can change. Ill pray for you, and for myself too.

I came here because it was very close to my house and had a reasonably okay rating (3.7 is apparently pretty high for mechanics in this area). The work I had done was a thermostat replacement, coolant flush, and maintenance work done on my rear drum brakes (I drive a 2005 Chevy Equinox), which were messed up and squeaking badly. The coolant flush was likely an upsell, but I was okay with it. Cant go wrong with fresh, clean coolant in the middle of the winter. The total cost came to $480 and the work took approximately 24 hours from when I dropped it off to when I picked it up. I did some price checking before coming here and the dealership where I bought the car wanted to charge me about that much for just the thermostat replacement ($650 altogether for brakes repair, coolant flush, and thermostat replacement), so $480 doesnt seem unreasonable to me. Im sure I couldve gotten it cheaper, but then Im dealing with mechanics in the 2.5 and lower rating, which I wasnt willing to risk. The people there were friendly enough, explained the work performed, parts used, and answered all of my questions. According to my receipt, I wasnt overcharged for parts or the coolant as far as I could tell and they put a 12-month warranty (no charge) on their work in case my thermostat or brakes go crazy again. I couldve brought my own parts, but they explicitly stated that they dont do warranty repairs on parts they dont provide. So be it. The only thing of note is the guy running the counter got a bit defensive. I think he thought I was scanning the receipt for issues to complain about and was bracing himself for an unpleasant encounter. I was just being curious. He was back to joking when he figured that out lol. Its definitely not the cheapest place, but their work seems to be good. Theyre cheaper than dealerships by a decent margin, but tend to be a bit pricier than some other places I called. Mechanics are a weird business, so its not something I put a lot of thought into. Virtually every mechanic around this area has these "THE MECHANIC RIPPED ME OFF" reviews with stories of deception, drugs, violence, or some other stuff (that, strangely enough, never seems to get reported to the cops) and whether or not theyre telling the truth or just starting drama is anyones guess. Im not here to defend or condemn anyway, just share my personal experience. Overall positive experience, no complaints really. The check engine light is off, my cars thermostat is functioning, and my back drum breaks dont squeak. Thats what I paid them to do and assuming the car remains that way for a reasonable amount of time, Ill leave my review at 5 stars.

My full review will shortly be on BBB. I took my truck in to get a catalytic converter installed as well as new plugs and coils. First of all, 2 Brothers charged me 2.6 hours of labor for a job they completed in 45 minutes. They informed me it was their policy to "charge by the book price." That is an interesting concept seeing that if the installation would have taken more time, they would have charged extra and not the book price. Not a honest policy. After the installation of my drivers side catalytic converter, my truck was making a knocking noise. A different shop diagnosed the problem and found that one of the two bolts that attaches the catalytic converter to the exhaust manifold was stripped. I went back to 2 Brothers and told them the problem. They diagnosed the issue and told me it would be another $200-$500 to take the catalytic converter back off and put in a new bolt (the exact job I just paid them to do). I asked them why the stripped bolt was not replaced when I paid them to install the catalytic converter, or why they didnt call me to tell me it would cost a little bit extra to replace the bolt and do the job correctly. They said that I paid them to install the catalytic converter, and never specified to put in a new grade 8 bolt. They told me because the catalytic converter did not contain the bolt kit ( a $10 part) they installed the catalytic converter on with the old, broken hardware. All of this was over the phone with the manager and he was yelling at me and treating me like an idiot. According to their policy, the customer has to specify every part that needs installed and all parts connected to that hardware need to be specified. If I knew that much information I would do the job myself. It is not the job the customer to specify what parts and how to install them. Thats what people pay repair shops to do. Needless to say, I paid 2 Brothers over $200 for a 45 minute job, they blatantly and with full knowledge installed the part incorrectly, when confronted they avoided all responsibility, and refused to fix their botched installation job without charging me more money for the exact same job I paid them to do in the first place. Not to mention the belittling and hollering at me over the phone by none other than the owner of the business (apparently a resounding trait) P.S. For anyone referred by the Advance Auto Parts down the street, the owners wife works there so they refer everyone to 2 Brothers Automotive. Check One Call Auto down the road or any other auto repair shop. Pre-Schoolers with Tonka Toys are more capable of repair and civility.
