HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE on this location by Target by 160th! Went to get highlights. Told hairdresser (no name but she said she was 20 yrs old) that Id like to have something not too drastic from my dark brown hair but still wants some dimension. RESULT: over processed, too light, damaged hair, looks like spaghetti when wet, hair breakage and totally dry. Per other hairdressers, she was known to pack all foil highlights to one area and that was what she did to mine. Came in the next day to get it fixed, Hairdresser that did the damage to my hair was not apologetic instead blamed me that it was what I wanted. WOW! Gloria tried toner, but it didnt help with the fact that it was too light. Salon never reimbursed me ($100), nor gave me free products to use to treat my hair from the damage theyve done. Gloria was specific in telling me that theres nothing they can do about it. Instead they were more focused on selling their products rather than customer satisfaction. Now Im spending a fortune treating my damaged hair hoping it will regain its health back. I cant believe salons would let them get away with mess ups like that because I would never recommend and NEVER GO BACK!

Walked in gave my name Ashley who is the manager was next to front desk, told young lady I traveled all the way from Bloomington, where I normally would get my touch ups done. I was asked to wait while they come up with a price, then a white man came in to be sited right away, I ask was there location taking appointments if not that would be considered racial profiling. Then they said they never just did the front of no ones hair, which I stated I was covering my grays which would be my edges, then I ask so youve never done this service before then she says oh yes then manager says it would be 20 dollars I only pay 15 at other location but just tired of the shops not of color being so rude when it comes to our hair, hair is hair. Time for somebody to stop the businesses from Acting like blacks dont matter.

Ive been going to the Fantastic Sams on Pilot Knob ever since it opened it doors. Ive seen a lot of hair stylists come and go over the years, some great and some not so great. But I love this place. The staff is amazing. They are kind, friendly, fun, and they make you feel more like family then just a client. And that is why I keep going to them. Lately Ive had Katarina color my hair. I love when she colors it because we are like an old married couple. We talk about everything. And when it comes to my hair, Im pretty picky on what I want done. So having Katarina help me choose the color or having her show me what the color might look like helps to ease some anxiety. She has done an amazing job. Love her!!!!

I WENT TO THE SALON ON HWY 42 IN BURNSVILLE THE SAME ONE THATS IN THE SHOPPING MALL WITH GREAT GRAINS BREADS. THE GUY WHO CUT MY HAIR CAME OUT OF THE BACK ROOM ,TOOK ONE LOOK AT ME AND ROLLED HIS EYES AS IF TO SAY HE REALLY DIDNT WANT ME AS A CUSTOMER. IM OLD AND BIG AND OBVIOUSLY NOT HIS TYPE. THE SIGN IN THE WINDOW SAID FREE WASH WITH EVERY CUT. HE DIDNT EVEN OFFER THAT. I DID MY BEST TO BE AS FRIENDLY AS POSSIBLE., HE GAVE ME A QUICK CUT AND TOLD THE OTHER LADY TO RING ME UP AND WALKED AWAY WITH OUT SO MUCH AS A THANK-YOU. IT WAS THE WORST HAIRCUT I HAVE EVER HAD. THE NEXT DAY I HAD IT REDONE AT ANOTHER PLACE. IN MY OPINION FANTASTIC SAMS ISNT.

My schedule is usually unpredictable and I have to reschedule appointments Ive made weeks before at other salons. Fantastic Sams gives me the flexibility I need - walk-in, its close to home and Fawn does an awesome job on my hair. She listens to me and has done color, highlights, and deep conditioning for me in addition to cut. You can request a stylist and I request Fawn. There are times Im in line for her! When I do have to wait a bit, I just head to Target across the parking lot to get some, usually, much needed shopping done.

THIS SARAH CHICK WAS TALKING INNOPROPRIATLEY IN THE WORK SPACE WHILE CUTTING MY HAIR. SHE IS LOUD, TALL, AND SKINNY. HER NAME IS SARAH I DEMAND SHE IS FIRED OTHERWISE I WILL NOT BE ATTENDING YOUR SALON EVER AGAIN, SHE SCREWED MY HAIR AND GAVE ME A HEADACHE. SHE SHOULD NOT BE TALKING ABOUT BARS IN THE WORKSPACE TO CHILDREN. SHE GAVE "sassy layers" AND THEY WERE UGLY. SHE ALSO CUT MY FRIENDs HAIR CROOKED. I GIVE THE LADY ONE STAR. I enjoy the others company when im lonley.

Not even worth one star! My sons past 2-3 haircuts here have been horrible and today U went in and the lady totally butchered by hair. My hair is literally 2 inches longer on one side than the other and destroyed in the back. I asked for a inch or 2 cut off and far more was taken. Going to a professional salon today to get it fixed abs going to try to get my money back but I doubt they will. Will NEVER go back here!!

Terrible experience today with one of the blonde stylist who was condescending and made us feel bad about a situation we were going through with our daughters hair. There was no empathy; just a statement of a policy that mortified us. By the way, the statement you made, miss know-it-all stylist, around the process in question is incorrect! We WILL NEVER return.

Your average hair place with slightly high prices nothing much bad to say but nothing special at the same time if your into a basic hair place they are perfect but if you want something over the top or special your best suited other places. Nothing bad on the company but with all the competition they can fall beneath the surface

I give 5 stars to Katerina for always the greatest service with a smile. :) The reason I go there. There are a couple great staff members and a couple after last night that I would never return unfortunately. So calling ahead unfortunately for a walk in salon is definitely worth it.

I was just there yesterday to get my haircut. My husband and I love this place everyone is polite and great to talk to. Ashley did a great job cutting my hair. They really treat their customers with a lot of respect. I have never had a bad experience.

Well, besides the stylist being my daughter, the service there was great! The haircuts are quick, yet thorough. The stylists are friendly, professional, and they make a great team by helping each other out. I look forward to my next visit in August!

Never had a bad experience here. The staff is super friendly and always have the best recommendations. Ive tried other places, and have never found anywhere that compares. Even different Fantastic locations! This is my go to spot. Love them!

I went in & paid a lot of money for hilights. I paid for a full highlight & ended up with just a partial, because most of it didnt show up. Worst experience ever. Now I have to go to a real salon & have them fix it.
