Can I give ZERO stars? It sucks they wont allow the honesty of a zero! I received my THIRD bad haircut from Fantastic Sams. One at the Crystal location and the last two at Brooklyn Center. The time before, the male stylist asked if I wanted a trim. I said I did, but he cut it much different than the previous style. I was not happy with it, but it was something I could love with. This week, Tae (SP?), supposedly the manager gave me the WORST haircut I have ever had. I told her long layers only. I have short layers. She asked if I wanted a bang. I said no. I have a bang. I told her that I like to be able to part my hair in various places, but now I can only part if on the right or you can see about a 4 inch difference on the sides. It is uneven at the length (what little is left of it). It has a very short section at the crown which makes it look like I have a lump on my head in the back. It has long strands left in different places she apparently missed. I noticed when I got home. I returned to have her cut it. She cut one of the long strands, and obviously realized how bad she screwed up so she just said it was the fault of my highlights. When I suggested a stylist should be able to cut straight with collor or highlights, she blamed my part (which was where she put it, BTW). I left and tried to get the Crystal location to clean it up for me. They refused (so much for protecting your brand) and I was told by the BC location to come back the next day and let the manager do it. Rumor has it TAE is the manager. Are you kidding me? Id suggest firing the manager Tae, with a scissor tattoo on her arm. Do not let her touch your hair! I did go demand a refund, however, Tae kept her tip, which she did not deserve. This salon stinks. I had the best haircut of my life a few months ago, there, but that girl left because the salon just simply stinks to high heaven. All of the stylists are horrible. All I can say is that I will not return to the BC or Crystal location and am done with Fantastic Sams all together. Do not give them ANY of your money as you cannot trust them, to do simple haircuts. I hope they go out of business. If they have given you a terrible haircut, call the headquarters and let them know so that they can close down the ones like Brooklyn Center, who are apparently run by losers and people with no passion for their job and no talent as stylists. Customer service from one particular person was bad, I never got the name but she seemed like didnt even want to be there. The cut itself wasnt bad but the way she went about it was bad. I wanted simple number 1 fade off the sides and back and wanted a little bit off the top. I also wanted her to run thinning shears through my hair. The fade went fine but I didnt recall her lining my hair up but then we went ahead and shampooed my hair. After that then she decided to start thinning my hair, isnt the point of shampooing my hair is so I wont have hair all over my head? To make it even worst she didnt even put my cape on when she started thinning my hair. So there goes my hair falling all over my clothes. She forgot and so she put another cape on me. Then when she was done I took last look in the mirror and realized the line up was not clean so I told her to please clean it up. She said with an attitude "I already lined it up" It doesnt matter if you did or not, if your customer wants something fixed then you fix it! Thats your job! So she went ahead and lined my hair up with NO CAPE and started talking about how each person cuts hair their own way which I understand but you dont need to go off lecturing and blabbering your customer about that. Taking my business else where. Service and how a cut routine from that particular person was terrible.

I will NEVER go back to this particular establishment as I dont feel they know what they are doing! I paid close to 100.00$ for a perm, which turned out to be worse than when walked in. After complaining about it I was told to come back in, which I did. They redid my perm, (still not what I wanted) and now two weeks later I discover that the only thing I paid for was for them to burn my hair. I could have done that with a flat iron at home, oh wait, now I am thanks to the hair dressers at Fantastic Sams!!

My boyfriend went and got a hair cut but the result was horrible . He wanted the top to be long since hes been growing it for a while now . He asked the lady to fade his side only . She didnt ask any more questions and did the hair cut. She didnt even fade his side , she just cut his hair the way she wanted, and she even made the top shorter which he did not ask her to do . It was the wrong cut and she try to convince us that he looked good which he didnt . We will never return here AGAIN !!!

Worse experience experience Ive ever had to get my haircut. I was told it would be a 15 min wait the barbers were Asian and I am white. Then 5 Asian people came after me and were called before me. I waited 45 mins and complained to the manager and she laughed in my face when I told them I had waited patiently. I got up and walked out and went to another salon that took me right away and gave me a great haircut! Im never going back to that racist place again!

I dont know what hairstylist all these bad reviewers had.. But you all need to be asking for Tommy he is by far my favorite stylist!! If you show him a picture he does better than the picture. I wont have anyone else do my hair but Tommy. I believe his mother is the owner.. So next time you guys want a quility haircut for a good price..Go to Tommy you wont regret it!! Well I havent!

Absolutely horrible... I saw the owner belittle the stylist while cutting my hair because she didnt charge for a additional hair color from a previous client. So much for being nice and showing good customer service. Absolutely unprofessional and downright mean. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

My stylist didnt listen to what I asked for whatsoever. I even had photos of a very simple cut I wanted, and she basically just have me the haircut she herself had. Not what I wanted at all. Very disappointed. Next time, Ill just bite the bullet and pay more for a fancy salon.

If I could give this salon no stars I would. Horrible customer service, I walked in, no one to check me in. The worst part was someone in the back being yelled at. I thought it was very inconsiderate of the clients already in the salon. I walked out. Wont be coming back.
