I order an item online to come to my business location and I never did receive my package or a notice about my package so I use my tracking number to see wheres my package was and it say that it was at the brooklyn center usps location. On the tracking site it claimed that they left me a notice for a few weeks already but nope, never did I see that notice that they claimed that they left on my business door. I went to the usps to pick up my package, the woman on the front counter was really rude. I told her that Im here to pick up my package and she was just giving me really bad attitude. She wouldnt give me my package because for some reason my package had my middle name on it instead of my first name. My ID have my first name and my home address on it so that woman was complaining that the address doesnt match the address on the package so I told her that the package was somehow under my middle name and the address was under my business location. I asked to talk to the manager and so she went and get the useless manager. They ask me if that address is really a business location, for me to show them a proof of my business card. I show them my business card but they still refused to give me my package although I gave them proof of my business address that match the package address. The manager is so rude, talking in a really loud attitude tone to me. I told them nicely that I have prove of the tracking number and the site that I ordered it from and all of the information that where I order and everything but that stupid Manger just kept on saying his stupid caps and wouldnt even take a look at the tracking number or the information that I have to show that the package belong to me. They also kept on saying that my business card address match the package but I have to have proof of my middle name for them to give my package to me! What there F***!! When the mail person drop off the mail and package stuffs, they dont asked for proof of the name on the mail/package...they just check to make sure that they got the right address, not like those stupid so call customer service who just want the right name on the package!! What if the person that sending you a package and accedently spell your name wrong, that mean that they will not give you your package and you will never get your package although you have proof of address and proof of tracking and oder information. Worst service ever!!! I hope that this location will get shut down and those two bad costumer services will get fire!! They need to be train and fix their bad attitudes!! Worst costumer services ever, walk in the door, didnt even said anything and they already give you dirty looks. Dont waste your money here.

Horrible service. Bought our house in 2009, and shortly after got a dog and put up an invisible fence so the dog could be whereever in the yard when she was out. For 3 years, everything seemed fine. Some days, if the dog was out, the carrier would just skip our house and deliver two days worth the next day, which was honestly fine with us. Not that big of a deal. The dog would bark at him as he walked past our house on the street but thats it. Then, after 3 years, all the sudden, we get a letter saying we have to either get rid of the dog and provide documentation, get a P.O. Box, or put a mailbox at the curb because the carrier wont come on to our property due to the dog. We were extremely annoyed, and bent over backwards trying to accomodate. We promised the dog would stay inside until the mail is delivered EVERY DAY. Not good enough. Finally, we bit the bullet and put the mail box on the curb(the only house on the block like that) and we still have issues getting mail. Some days, the dog is out and we dont get mail, even though the carrier doesnt have to step foot on our property and the dog wont leave our property. Some days, mail is missing, and we suspect someone steals it, which is easy to do when the mail box is on the curb. On top of that, we dont get any packages delivered from USPS. We ALWAYS get a slip and have to go wait in line and pick it up, because the carrier refuses to come to our door, even if the dog is inside. And our dog isnt even big. Shes about 45-50 lbs; shes a yellow lab husky mix(not a threatening breed); shes never bitten anyone in her life. Now I understand theres fear of dogs, theres union rules, etc. But we bent over backwards and have gotten nothing but grief from them AND from the Minneapolis Postmaster office. Theres a reason we ship EVERYTHING FedEx or UPS now.

My review is specifically for the post office box service, manager, and payment process. Ive lived in Brooklyn Center for 16 years. In 2005 was the victim of identity theft where I suspect my house mail was intercepted. I opened a post office box and moved everything related to my credit and finances to mail to my POB. (Student loans, credit cards, mortgage, retirement, utilities, etc.) The POBox is $35 every 6 months or $70/yr for the size I use. Last year their books were messed up and they closed my box when they shouldnt have. Even though the nice lady showed me in her book where I paid and that it shouldnt be closed, I still had to pay to have new locks put on but she instructed me to call the POB manager when she returned from PTO the following week. I called the following week about 5 times before I reached POB person. She was very new, or very uneducated in the details of POB management and she had no idea how to refund me the new-key/lock fees. I gave up. I asked why they could not reach out to my email or my phone number on my account when there are billing questions or renewals due to which I received "I aint got time for that" response. Albeit funny on a meme, getting that from a business is unacceptable. I gave the nice gentleman at the counter my two keys and told him I was unhappy with the situation and said "Its 2016, the post office needs to get up to the times, free auto renewals, notifications to email and text messages, and overall make doing business with the post office effortless." Hope the Postmaster General reads this... doubtful. My friend said to got to "Mailboxes etc", open 24./hrs a day and they have auto renewal.... Well see.

Horrible customer service! Bitter, old, lazy, and frail seniors who work here and dont deliver any kind of good customer service in person or over the phone! If youre sending packages, my advice is that it would be a very good idea to purchase signature and or add tracking on your packages and if youve already got a prepaid postage with a tracking number... Do not set your items on the side with their so called "other packages waiting to be scanned in and shipped out" area! Make sure that you tell the counter clerk to SCAN your items and give you a receipt for confirmation! It shows the confirmation number, date, time and package weight for proof. In case you need to file a claim for any reason. When I got up to the counter, the old clerk said what do you need? I said, "I need to shop a package..." Before I could ask anything or finish my sentence he proceeded to say ok you need to pay for it and I said, it was already paid for with a tracking number." He goes, "well you need to put the package over there!" And points to the corner where ton of other packages were sitting! I said, "okay" I need a receipt for confirmation. He gives me this irritated look and literally slammed my package on the weight machine and then tears off the receipt and tells me to go put my package with the rest of them before handing me my receipt! Wow! Talk about zero star service! Horrible!
