I just got off the phone with the rudest woman at 12:16pm (8/18/11). She was short with me, kept trying to talk over me, and after partially answering my question she stopped listening to anything I had to say. Upon trying to get more information if I encountered this problem again, she attempted to stonewall me by repeating " theres nothing else I can do for you." If she had just taken a minute to listen to me she would know that I have had bills that didnt make it to me, were not sent back to me ASAP, and I would not receive that bill at all until the next month. Thats a problem and its happened more than once, so I think I deserve to be heard. I had to hang up on her bc it was obvious she was tired of talking to me and wasnt willing to offer me any help. This "conversation" lasted no more than 6 mins. Bottom line is, if she no longer enjoys her job and has to treat people this way to get through the day, I know someone who would be thrilled to take her place, ME.

Our postal carrier has on multiple occasions just decided NOT to deliver our mail. At one point I was waiting for a text book for a class and it said it was supposed to be delievered 3 days in a row. I finally went to the office, they told me he was "just driving around with it, were not sure why he hasnt delivered it" now the today its the same thing. We get a notice in the post box he can drive up to stating he attempted to deliver our package, except he didnt because there were 4 of us home in the living room that would have heard the door. The guy is just too lazy to get out and walk the 15 feet to the door if something has to the door. He also likes to just hang onto mail for days/weeks. To top it off every time I have tried to ring the post office itself, including today, it just goes straight to a busy signal-for over an hour. No answer ever. Its like they start their day by taking the phone off the hook. Terrible. If course, nothing will change. Unfortunately.

Can someone explain why they pay these people to say they "attempted delivery and left a notice" when they never set foot on the property ? (Watched the camera on site at the supposed time of attempt and nobody came on site even in the drive way.) Seriously just go drink in your basement and quit your (tax funded) job if youre that lazy and stupid. Unreal. Edit; its November now, and Ive been waiting for a package since Thursday. I understand Friday was vets day, but last night they "attempted delivery but the business was closed." Interesting considering its an apartment building that is always open and lit up. I will just pay the extra 4.99 to have ups or Amazon deliver it personally as the post office is clearly overwhelmed or unable to deliver in the time frame specified. (And Ill be talking with the head office about this place, its consistently getting worse, good luck trying to ship during the holidays!!)

Have been attempting to locate a lost package for 10 days now. My mother is a post master in another state and she has carefully tracked the package she sent me with my sons birthday gifts inside. it was listed as delivered to the "mail room" at our property, but the manager said the package was returned. The tracking does not show I is returned and we have looked with the property manager to ensure it isnt still in the office. I was told by the Post Office they would look into the missing package and I would receive a call back. That was two days ago! I will be attempting to call the Post Office again when they are open today, but Im not holding my breath. If they dont have it or a location on it then we will be filing with the Inspection Service. Based on other reviews it looks like this happens quite a bit at this location.

Got a notification that my package was undeliverable at my address. I called them and asked if I could catch the package before it was returned to the shipper. They found it and asked if I wanted a redeliver attempt or to pick it up. Awesome. I tell them Ill pick it up since I live 10 minutes away. I get there and after about 20-30 minutes of looking they cant find it. How did they lose a package in 10 minutes? They ask for my name and number and say theyll have the postal carrier call me when he/she returns. Its closing time as I type this. Im pretty sure I wont be getting that call. Dont expect this post office to find your package. Update: I got that call. They called to tell me they couldnt find the package and that theyd follow up the next day with another call. They didnt.

My wife and I ordered stroller and car seat from Germany. Only car seat was delivered and the pink notification slip says: "2 large parcels" so the mail man had two boxes but left only one. Went to post office, talked to supervisor. She said I will look for package... Hour later, she says we have no package. Next day same issue. No package delivered, no package found at post office and no package in mail car. Taked to supervisor, answer is I will talk to mail carrier tomorrow and give you a call. Yeah right... 500$ stroller in large box cannot disappear and cant be hidden in a corner. Did carrier steal the package? Did he drop it at other adress? All I get from supervisor is "Ill call you tomorrow"...

This post office has lost 3 pieces of mail and delivered one to the wrong address. At first I thought that it was maybe the specific mail driver that delivered to my house that was screwing things up, but upon changing the delivery address to my work address, I learned that that was not the case! NOPE, this person also managed to mis-deliver my package! The people working there are cranky and short staffed and cant seem to be able to help me with any of my misplaced packages or fix whatever it is that is going wrong. Phone line is constantly busy, which forces me to have to come in to talk to them about issues. The line is always a nice 30+ minute wait. Worst post office ever.

The WORST office to have things left at. Package left at office? GOOD LUCK getting someone to pickup so you can have it delivered when you dont have a car. I only called as a package says it was delivered to the front desk "until xx-xx" date, and I work until ALL the way until the day after. The package wasnt at the front desk, and no packages had left by carrier. Im not about to walk an hour there and an hour back, bring a "short" work day, I would still be late and I wont be available to try picking it up until next week....

I rented a PO Box for a about 6 years. I turned in my key at the end of my rental period, and then was automatically billed to my visa for an additional year! I have called, stopped in, written notes, spoken to the manager who told me more than once "Yes - i will get that reimbursement to you asap - there is a problem with the system because it will do the auto billing without looking at the account". This has been going on for more than 6 months! I need ti resolved ASAP but do not know where to turn. Very disappointing.
