Very very disappointed in the Post Office on Avenue A here in Beaumont, Texas. Our mail carrier doesnt like to deliver packages to recipients, so she will send them back for no reason at all. Or, she will lazily place mail in boxes that are NOT the mails destination. She will leave stacks of life insurance solicitations in one box, rather than distribute them out. Shes rude, and I am sick and tired of HAVING NO CHOICE but to use THIS particular post office. Even when brought to the Post Masters attention, NOTHING was done, and she is STILL not doing her job. Its so sad that some aspects of our lives have to depend on such terrible service from a place that is less than adequate at its intended job.

The South End post office is pretty mediocre. If you go there, the service is not so bad but if they are in charge of delivering to your home, youre in trouble. The carrier doesnt bother to deliver mail some days or pick up the outgoing mail either. If you try to complain, they will only take a complaint if youve missed delivery 3 days in a row so basically you cant complain about the persistent missing of 1 day every now and then. No wonder the PO is bankrupt and being bailed out by taxpayers.

I used the "hold mail" service last week while on vacation. (3-11-17 to 3-17-17) When I returned home on the 16th my mail box was full of mail. At the end of the day, it was full again. Your "hold mail" is a joke. Evidently the hold is not relayed to the carrier. This is the 2nd time in the last 2 years. I even went into the P.O and spoke with the clerk on duty the 1st time. If this service cannot be trusted, it needs to end and stop advertising it.

I love my mail carrier. We live in South park by Lamar and the volunteer fire dept. MY MAILMAN ALWAYS has my mail here on time by 11:30 AM. Yes that early. If theres a sign for package he signs ,and leaves it for me. I think the USPS system is a Lil off but whats that got to do with my mail man. My packages always get stuck in NORTH HOUSTON for days but thats not his prob. The people working at the PO at Ave A are very helpful.

Received email on a Priority Mail Delivery that indicated the package was undeliverable as address, apparently the sender had the wrong Zip Code on the package. Called the Post Office the next day and talked to a very polite lady that checked on my package and told me that my carrier had it on his truck and it would be delivered that day. A much better experience than I expected. Thanks for a job well done!

Was in the house when mail was delivered on harriot street and the mail carrier put the mail in the box .. Went to retrieve the mail to find the envelope was torn open and empty. Since when does the post office deliver empty and obviously tampered with mail?!

I wish we still had the pony express I could get my mail faster. The postal service must have traded them in for mules . The Avenue A station has been a joke all my life.

Always get my mail before noon, great maily lady on route on Orange Street. Nice people working at the desk. They always help me if my mail is missing. !
