We installed some rip rap last fall to slow down pond erosion on our property in the back yard. The work was very well done, on time and on budget. We are very happy with it. Unfortunately, a not-insignificant part of our front yard was used as a staging ground for the boulders and an area of the front lawn was torched. Construction fill (or something that looked very much like it - sand, glass, pebbles) was used in both the front and back yards and the grass seed put down prior to winter. Its a weed bed now. Grass is filling in somewhat in the front, but it will require a ton of work to get the lawn back. Same is true for the equipment tracks from front to back. I would ensure with Peterson that they will bring the yard back further than they did with ours. Although I dont have the specs in front of me as I write, my recollection is that black dirt was to be put down and the affected areas would be re-seeded with higher grade seed. I would give the look now a 2 or 3 on a 10 scale v. how it looked previously.
