In 2008 or 2009, we were looking for a shop when we moved here, who would take care of our car as well as we do. We have a 1999 Monte Carlo and cant afford to buy a new car. Met Brad - Manager, and Taylor - Asst Manager, and have become good friends. Our car now has 262,000 miles on it. Our goal is to cross 400,000 or higher, and within 4 years, we should make it. Brad and Taylor have stood behind their work, and when we have had a problem that has stretched everyones patience, they have dug into the issues, and have resolved them. If a problem returns, their warranty is outstanding. They are also seeming to join us in our goal of keeping this car going and see what mileage well be able to reach. The engine, transmission are original and the engine uses about 3/4 qt of oil per 4000 miles which is what it was when new and we still get 28 mpg. Brad, Taylor and the team there - we recommend to all of our friends, and anyone looking for a great shop and experience. Thanks Midas team.

I have come to this shop 4 times now to get my car serviced (estimate, wheel bearing replacement, heating core replacement, transmission line replacement/flush). They always do a great job. They can get you in quickly, and contact you promptly after you schedule an appointment time online. They are honest, knowledgable, and offer free quotes - regardless of whether or not you service your vehicle there. Their prices are awesome. I had my heating core replaced and decided to get a quote from a dealership -they gave me an estimate that was priced $400 more than Midas. They always call and discuss the costs before they do the work, and theyll answer my questions like - what if I dont get this fixed today? When does it need to be done by, or will there be consequences if I do not get it done today? Theyre true to their work quote times as well, if they say it will be 2-3 hours, it will be 2-3 hours. Overall my experience has been great. I would highly recommend these guys!

I am fairly fluent when it comes to repairing my own cars and I also know when its something I dont really want to spend my time working on. I have been going to this shop when repairs fall into that category. I have had nothing but positive experiences with Brad and his team. The labor and part costs were reasonable and all the repairs were done to my satisfaction. Based on my conversations with Brad, he had an understanding of what I can do on my own and pointed a few things out so they were on my radar for when I get around to them. Its great to have a local place that I can trust for the more complicated repairs. Update...I just had some brake work done with Midas and after calling around to a few other shops, they were right in line. They were able to get the work done for less then was estimated and again pointed out a couple things I should fix on my own. Fantastic customer service again.

Brad and his team are fantastic! We have received nothing but great service at the Coon Rapids Midas. When Brad makes recommendations of work that should be done he always goes out of his way to explain why, even going as far as showing you the part/issue, and he will NEVER pressure you into a decision, which I love! As a female, it can be difficult to find a good mechanic who doesnt undermine you or try to take advantage of you simply because you are a woman...Brad is anything but that, he is very kind and trustworthy. When my husband and I were shopping for a new vehicle and had our options narrowed down, we went to Brad for advice due to his knowledge and experience working on cars, and he was very helpful. We been going to Brad at Midas for 2-3 years now and will never go anywhere else! Thanks Brad and team!! P.S. The pricing is very reasonable, and they always have great coupons :-)

I have a 2015 Chevy Malibu that is still qualified for free oil changes from the dealership. I came in to this Midas to inquire about the cost of future maintenance and was so impressed with the welcome I got that I have had two oil changes here now. Yes I would rather pay these guys than get free service at the dealer. Was just there today and enjoyed a cup of complimentary caribou coffee in their waiting area and even had a nice conversation with Taylor and another guest that was waiting for her car. The waiting area is so clean and has comfortable seating. For those who find it hard to trust repair shops, the waiting area has huge windows that allow you to clearly see the bays so you can watch them work on your car if you want. Absolutely love this shop and actually cant wait to go back. Give them a try and you will not be disappointed.

I live 40 minutes away from this shop and will not take my car anywhere else! These guys ALWAYS get me in when I need it (Im a very last minute type of person). Last time I got an oil change, I asked them if they could tell me the size of the bolt that I needed to secure part of my bumper back on that way I could get the part and fix it myself. They went ahead and fixed it for me with no extra charge! Every question that I have asked about maintenance to my vehicle, they have given me honest answers. To say their customer service is excellent is an understatement. They know their stuff and do always do whats right for their customers.They are friendly and always willing to help. Honestly, its such a relief to know that I have a place to take my vehicle that I fully trust.

Super great experience! I came here after searching through the reviews of local oil change facilities. Finding the right people for your car is like finding a daycare. You dont know what theyre always doing, but you hope they treat your baby as their own. The manager was great and extremely helpful. He didnt attempt to talk me into anything I didnt want. He went through everything they did on my car, unlike the last place I went to. I didnt feel like a number. I felt like a friend was helping me. I will only bring my car to you guys from now on. Thank you for giving me faith in your industry again!

I have been taking my vehicles to this location for a long time. Brad and Taylor and team provide excellent customer service and repairs. I would recommend them highly to anyone. I havent looked around anywhere else for a shop since I started using them (except for the two free dealer oil changes I am going to use on my new car, because hey, free!). Car repairs are so expensive these days, it is nice to have a shop that isnt looking to screw you over on top of legit repairs. I really cant say enough good things about them.

Walked up to the desk and the guy goes what can I do for you I explain i was at discount tire across the street and was shown some damage to the strut and sway link and that i should have it looked at to prevent further damage to the tires. The Midas looks at me and says im just trying figure out what you want to do? Well figure out what is wrong with it would be great. Well I cant look at it right now... Couldnt tell me when he could or anything just said Im trying to figure out what you wanna do?..... Very helpful
