I live in Burnsville but I drive to Car-X Tire & Auto in Eden Prairie to see one of the best VW mechanics in the Twin Cities! My Beetle was having several mysterious problems, including the transmission. These guys were amazing and made me feel very confident that they were committed to taking care of me. The manager Steve could tell I was worried and thoroughly explained everything to me. I absolutely trust these guys and all the work they have done for me as several things showed up with my 2007 Beetle. They have done everything on that car from: new tires, brakes, front end alignment, engine lights, headlights to my transmission - and shes running good as new! Thanks guys!

When I took my car to Car-X Eden Prairie it was out of convenience, since I work in the building next door. We always want A-1 Customer Service but keep our expectations low so to not be disappointed. Never did I expect Steve the Manager to exceed my expectations on so many levels. Steve was upset that I had neglected my car and I admit it... I did neglect my car. Actually, it was his disdain for the condition my car was in that made me sit up and pay closer attention. Steve offered solutions that would get my car in the best working performance of its life. Steve and team at Car-X, you have a customer for life! Thank you for everything :)

I had gone to a competitor for replacement break pads. They tried to up-sell me and afterwards, my breaks squeaked. I brought it in to this CarX and they fixed my squeak for free. I cant believe it. He (Adam Johnsen, the assistant manager apparently) listed to my complaints about the competitor and didnt try to up-sell me at all. Just fixed the breaks for free and wished me on my way. What can I say? I returned later that week for a tune up just out of appreciation and I couldnt be happier with the cars performance since. They said itd improve my gas mileage and they were right. Cant recommend enough.

Great staff, fair prices, excellent service. I am impressed. I have a "usual" mechanic that takes care of my vehicle, but was having major brake issues the Friday before 4th of July weekend and my guys were pretty booked up. The team at Car-X stepped in and got my vehicle in and fixed up in less than 24 hours, saving me the heartburn of driving on horrible brakes for a long weekend. They have definitely earned a customer. On a side note, the manager had to deal with an unruly customer while I was dropping my vehicle off and handled it very well. Job well done all around.

Ive always gone to Car-X but decided to try this location. I loved it! Being a girl going into car shops I get nervous because I have no clue what I need an really dont need fixed. These guys were amazing! Really put you at ease an explained what they felt you should fix now an what can wait. All of the guys there were friendly an joked with you while you waited. Steven at the front desk was great an I will for sure be going back!

Great experience from start to finish. I kinda just called on a whim on a Friday hoping for the best before a trip i had to take, note expecting much. Much to my surprise, Steve made it work and made me feel like a top priority throughout the day, called and kept me updated, discussed price along the way, etc. I havent been in Eden Prairie long but Im glad I know where to bring my car for the foreseeable future.

The 5 star reviews are accurate. I had an issue with a 2006 BMW, and he diagnosed it, and dint recommend any repairs. How honest is that! He took the time to explain everything, and offered other helpful advice. When i do need repairs, I will trust this service center. Steve is very helpful!

There are not enough good things I could say about this place. They diagnosed the issues with my car right away and kept me up to date with everything they were doing. Steve was extremely respectful and kind; he and the other guys got my car fixed in a timely manner and for a great price.

Extremely honest. Took vehicle there because computer said time for new brake pads. Steve (GM) and Ashby were very knowledgeable. They checked the brake pads and found that we still had 50% life left. Cost was $0. I will be back. Carx in Des Moines was also very honest. Highly recommend.

Really a great and trustworthy place! They do great work, but more importantly they are straight shooters that will give you honest answers and work really hard to get the best results. I had to get extensive brake work done and the results were affordable and well done.

In town on business on a sub-zero temperature day and my car heater went out. Steve quickly diagnosed the issue and arranged transportation for me while they made the repairs. The bill even came in under the original estimate. Friendly staff and a pleasure to work with.
