I visit Life Time in Eden Prairie every morning and various evenings each week. The staff greets you each day and everyone is very friendly. The locker rooms are clean, have nice products to use when getting ready and the lockers are rarely busy. The workout space is clean, well maintained and has nice bright windows letting in a lot of natural light. The pool is great and the dining options are fantastic. The instructors of each class are absolutely amazing - they get to know you by name if you talk to them after or before class, they give you a challenging workout and one of my personal favorite classes (Yoga Sculpt) has lavender infused towels passed out while youre relaxing at the end of class....SUCH a treat after a tough workout. Another great thing about this facility is the location. Within steps outside the clubs front door are running paths and trails that have great views of Purgatory Creek and connects to Staring Lake as well. Compared to other fitness gyms and other Life Time locations I have belonged to in the past, Eden Prairie Life Time feels like such a retreat each day I visit! Its a classy place with everything you need and more to enjoy a full workout and relaxation experience.

This is expensive health club, membership fee per person is about $150/month, I have seen even bigger health clubs than this one in other states that which charge about $100/month...but like some one said it keeps idiots away, good for people who can afford it. Work out area for weights is very small and compact, they gave more importance to tennis courts and basket ball courts which occupy most space of the club, since I did not use any of those facilities (basket ball, tennis etc) and workout space being compact I ended up cancelling my membership telling them some other reason. If your goal is just to work out weights, this health club is not right for you. On one occasion while I was working out on a equipment, club trainer asked me to vacate the spot so that he can train a member using the same equipment, I have seen this happening to other members too...life time should stock enough machines for workout so that members paying $$$$$$s should be treated nicely. I would not recommend this health club to friends.

I very much enjoying working out here. They keep everything very clean and sanitized. The pool and hot tub area (inside and out) are fantastic! I really like the steam room as well, its clean, and they use mint which helps clear out your sinuses. Ive also had my haircut, they did a great job, I plan on going here from now on for that. My wife and I use the child care center for our toddler while we workout, he really enjoys playing there with the other children. The staff are great with kids. The price is high, but it keeps the idiots out. You never see stupid people fighting and arguing in the basketball court. Or wierd people in the locker room doing shady stuff. Thats what youre paying for.

This is the best, nicest, most complete facility I have ever been to. The staff are very well chosen and trained (RitzCarlton-like!) and the services offered are myriad and comprehensive. An evolved food program and great Happy Hour makes the restaurant and bar a lot of fun. A great steam room helps me get through the Winter. The magazine accompanying the membership is also (IMHO) the best information available on wellness containing cutting-edge content. If you want to get fit, well and healthy - its all here for you. Bahram (founder) and team have built something really special and they share the success with the community through their foundation. Well Done!

THIS MAY HELP ANSWER SOME QUESTIONS: Service is decent, but I have my suspicions about the "lost valuables" policy. Many times my family has lost phones, sunglasses, jackets, and other items all over the building, I find it bizarre that they "disappear" so often. The managers will always give you the same explanation, if they find it, they will supposedly call your phone number. They have never done so with any of our valuables as of yet. Our family has lost an Under-Armour jacket and a Samsung Galaxy CP in the PAST WEEK. Please try to explain this lifetime, I do not want to start blaming employees.

Such a poor customer service! Moved out to a different state for new adventure, where Lifetime is not in the business and yet they charged me a month fees for freckling 30 day notice period. Tried to explain thats not my mistake going to a place where lifetime is not establish but the manager was so rude at me asking to sign the documents and move out. I was 200 miles away from any LT fitness center, to cancel my subscription, they mandated me to visit any of this locations, I had to drive down just to sign couple papers. Never again to lifetime fitness center. Such a shame on their part!

Just found out: You have send a certified letter if you are out of state and circumstances force you to end your month to month membership - otherwise they continue to bill you....taking me months to quit...on the other hand in the past they were quick to take my money and sign me up for extended membership over the phone. I am so irked I am thinking about small claims. This is my first "review" on any service and any product. w.b. eden prairie

Few things could be a bit nicer however the instructors are generally good and they have a nice variety of classes at different times. I have found most of the staff to nice and helpful. My biggest peeve is using the facilities for "extra" activities they charge for. Example: kids birthday parties taking up the basketball courts.

While staying in the area on business, I stopped at this club looking to get in a short workout. When informed by the desk attendant that the rate for a day pass was $35, I promptly turned around and left. There are plenty of other clubs close to my hotel and in this area.

$35 for a day or $75 for a week?!!??! Thats rediculous. I travel to Eden Prairie for work frequently and was astonished at the type of prices they were offering for a daily pass. I will continue my search for a gym to attend while staying in Eden Prairie.

What a rip-off! The pool is absolutely disgusting Tiny with extremely warm water - impossible to lapswim. I cant tell you how many times Ive gotten a mouthful of hair. Go to the crosstown location instead. Cant believe this is "Onyx"

The front desk staff is extremely rude, for the amount of money it costs to belong I minimally expect curteous customer service. Also, I regularily do not get hot showers, even at non-peak use times. What a disappointment.

One of the premier Lifetime clubs. much more than a gym so expect Eden Prairie prices. Not used this location before. Normally would go to the Lakeville location if I wanted a day at the club and an outdoor pool.
