I had a hair emergency after trying a new drugstore conditioner this morning. It left my hair feeling greasy and heavy, so I called the nearest salon to my office in Eden Prairie, and the friendly receptionist at Future Concepts happily booked me an appointment for a wash/dry/style over the lunch hour. When I arrived, they greeted me by name and offered me a beverage before immediately seating me with my stylist, Amanda. The salon was attractive, clean, and had a cheerful yet relaxing atmosphere. Amanda was fantastic; she was so sweet and very knowledgable about the products and questions that I had. She washed, conditioned, dried, and styled my hair within 45min, which gave me enough time to get back to work, with time to spare. I loved the products she used in my hair so much that I bought them all, and was able to use their "first time client" discount, which gave me 30% off each product (when you buy 3). I will definitely be going back to Future Concepts for hair services with Amanda, and I recommend this salon to anyone in the Twin Cities/Eden Prairie area!

I have been going to Future Concepts for a at least a dozen years. Erin is my stylist and she always does a fabulous job with my cut and color. I feel like Erin gives me great advice and doesnt try to upsell me to increase their bottom line. I get the best advice each time I go. Besides looking great when I leave, the best part of this salon is their customer service. Their customer focused attention is a real mood lifter. They greet you with a smile, offer you a fresh, hot beverage and depending on what you are having done, you are also offered a free hand massage and warm neck wrap. Last year I started trying other salon services with a 90 minute massage from Jocelyn which was fantastic. They schedule a free wash and blow dry to follow the massage. How nice is that? Ive also gotten a facial from Christy (wonderful) and now go to Christy regularly for brow waxes. This place is absolutely wonderful and if you want an "experience" with your haircut (or other salon service), Future Concepts is perfect for you.

I have been going to Emily for about three years. I see her regularly (every five/six weeks) for a brow wax - she does a fantastic job! When I moved to the area, I had a hard time finding anyone (Im quite picky when it comes to brow waxes :)), but a friend recommended me to Future Concepts, and Im so happy she did! I also see Emily for the occasional facial. She is always friendly and professional. I look forward to seeing her. I have had a few other services done over the years (haircuts, partial foil) and have always been pleased. Pricing is pretty standard for a salon in the area, though I would say its on the mid-upper range. They do offer a rewards program (which I believe, you are automatically enrolled in). Without even knowing it, I had accumulated $35 in rewards just for getting my brows waxed consistently. Also, if you refer people to the salon and they mention your name, I think you get a $15 kicker in your rewards.

I went to Future Concepts Studio and Salon to get a bikini wax. I was referred by a friend to get one by a certain beautician, however I am currently blanking on her name but she was fantastic. She was considered an expert because her rate was higher than any other beautician performing the service. She was wonderful, she made me feel very comfortable in the awkward situation and it was an overall great experience besides of course the pain of the actual wax. I would have gone back to this studio but for the price, it is a bit spendy for my opinion but the overall service was great within itself. So, if you are looking for a salon that will give you make you feel at ease even while a person is examining your lady parts closely, youve found it! Just make sure you are well aware that a wax WILL be 80-something dollars.

I usually get my hair done at Aveda or salon concepts. Had my haircut at future concepts for the first time since this salon is very close to my house. Throughout the time my hair was being cut, the stylist turned my chair facing me towards the wall instead of the mirror saying she had no space to stand. This should not be a clients problem. Never been seated this way at any other salon. I was not even given a small mirror to be able to check my hair once. Towards the end I myself had to ask her for a mirror so at least I could see my hair. It didnt quiet turn the way I had asked for. While paying for the service I brought it to to the lady at their counter and all she said was shell let them know. Absolutely zero customer service. Waste of time and money!

I made an appointment at Future Concepts Salon based solely on the online reviews I had read. They certainly didnt disappoint! Aja was my stylist and she did a great job of listening to what I wanted and then transforming it into a great cut. I am eight months postpartum and I was impressed with Ajas knowledge of the hair loss and regrowth I was dealing with. She took the time to explain everything she did, and even made a point to show me how to recreate the style at home (no one has ever done that before). I was also impressed that the salon does not let first time customers leave gratuity. Everyone I dealt with at the salon was professional and friendly. I felt right at home. Ill be going back!

Ive been going to Future Concepts for the past 8 years and absolutely love it! They frequently update their salon in multiple ways - continuing education for their employees, updated/improved product lines, refreshing the salon atmosphere/decor, etc. They make every attempt to make you comfortable - refreshments, warm neck wrap, wide variety of magazines, etc. The stylists are excellent. They even offer free bang trims between haircuts...huge bonus! The skincare specialists are top notch. They provide the best eyebrow wax...it cant be beat! Their employee turnover is low so you always see a familiar face when you visit. I highly, highly recommend Future Concepts!

What an awesome experience this salon was. I would highly recommend the experience that Future Concepts provides. Megan did a fantastic job on my 11 year daughters hair. She had been terrified to get her hair cut professionally since a horrible experience at a well known hair chain that rhymes with "Eight Grips". Thanks Megan. As for my hair, I would say that it is pretty high maintenance. I am 38 year old caucasian, used to the high end salons in the area. I would highly, highly recommend Mackenzie, she did amazing Balayage and was so fantastic to talk to. Thank you ladies for the amazing experience at your salon. We will be seeing you soon!

This was easily one of the best experiences I have had ever! My hairstylist was Heidi and she was beyond amazing! She is so friendly and makes you feel comfortable from the beginning. She also takes the time to find out your hair routine and shows you techniques that fit the level of maintenance you are comfortable doing yourself. You can tell she knows exactly what she is doing! All the ladies I interacted with were genuinely friendly and it didnt feel fake or forced. The atmosphere is amazing prices are more than reasonable for the quality of service you get. I will definitely go back and would recommend Future Concepts to everyone!
