The repair/experience that we received on 12/04/15 was just outright bad. I actually had to double check to see if I called the correct Company. We have used Control Air in the past with no issues. They were the company who installed our Furnace, AC and House humidifier. I called to get a furnace inspection, cleaning and and also get my Humidifier repaired since it didnt work. The filter was dry and the unit wasnt turning on. What I got was a furnace inspection for 89 and was told that I had the wrong filter in my Humidifier and charged 40. I contacted Controlled Air per the request of my credit card company, because I wanted to put a hold on the card for this poor quality of service. I called the company and was told that they did what they said they were contracted to do. I was informed that furnace cleaning was a separate additional charge above and beyond the 85, and the repair of the humidifier was also an additional charge above the 40. This was NOT explained when I called to set up the appointment. I would NOT recommend Controlled Air to my worse enemies. I totally felt that I was taken to the cleaners on this job. Please note that I did send and email on Saturday and havent received a response. You think you would hear something by Monday, since Control Air is a 24 hour company.

Controlled Air was able to respond within 45 minutes last Friday evening at 7 pm to fix our furnace that abruptly stopped working. The work was competent and tech extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I would have rated 5 stars except for the following: I was told up front the service/diagnostic charge after hours would be $199 instead of $99. and that is perfectly understandable for after hours service. However the part replaced was a simple fix and about a $15.00 to $20.00 part -flame sensor- that took maybe 15-20 minutes to diagnose/install and it was assessed as a level 1 charge ( apparently a whole bunch of possible repairs fall into that group of repairs-all charged the same charge for parts plus labor). The charge for the level 1 repair was an additional $199.00. I can understand paying a labor rate for the 15-20 minutes plus mark up on the part, I do no think that should have run an additional $199.00. though?? My total bill was $398.00 which overall I thought a bit excessive??? The service was excellent, competent and the tech friendly and I do appreciate getting my heat running again on a 10 below evening. This may come down to paying a premium for excellent competent and fast service from a reputable company???

Initially I called Jake because he is related to a former co-worker and I knew I could trust him and that he would be honest with me. The service I received was so much more! Jake took his time and was very thorough explaining the difference in my choices. Just to let you know, I had also received 3 other quotes but took Jakes because of the service that I received and how comfortable I felt. He earned my business by taking the extra time with me. He also measured and took pictures. He also wasnt pushy which I appreciated. The installers were actually early, BONUS! Protected my carpeting and did a fabulous job! The even explained the techy stuff to this tech challenged girl. I would definitely recommend Controlled Air to anyone needing a new furnace or air conditioner. The service was absolutely fantastic!!!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! DO NOT CALL THEM!!! Was given their information and told they could call me for diagnostic of my unit. The technician came out and told me the unit was old and told it wasnt even worth looking at. Took my $99 and was in my home for less than 5 minutes and did absolutely nothing. At this point I was still considering buying a unit from them but wanted to keep my options open and found someone who would fix the unit for a much more reasonable price so I called in and asked for the part number, they refused to give it to me. I paid you $99 for the 5 minute diagnostic, this does not mean I am required to use your company to fix my unit if you dont offer competitive prices. STAY AWAY, this company does not practice good business.

I recent purchased a new home and the A/C and gas fireplace were not working so I called Controlled Air to service all of them. They told me it would cost me $224.00 for the service call. The Tech was here for less then 45 min and said it just needed adjusting and the fireplace just needed something cleaned out. I got moved in and two weeks later we try the fireplace and it didnt start up. I called controlled air to see if they warrenty their work and I get it will cost me $199.00 to have it evaluated. Forget that I will find a company that backs their work as this is exactly what the fireplace was doing prior to them working on it. Poor Service as they dont back their work.

What a great family owned and operated company! We had an emergency service this past winter where our furnace broke down in the middle of the night. We called Controlled Air first thing in the morning and they were able to get a technician to us within 2 hours. Ultimately, the furnace was shot, but their technician was able to get it working as we ordered a new furnace to be installed. Long story short, we had a brand new furnace within 3 days and the pricing was extremely fair and very straight forward! It is hard to find good honest companies these days, but very happy that I came across Controlled Air as the are certainly one of them. Thank you team!

Our air went out this past weekend, on an extremely hot day, as did many other customers. Tim originally told us he couldnt get out here till Thursday, but by last night I already had a call that hed be able to get us in today. Our air is fixed and running great! Price was very fair and and the service was wonderful. We will continue to call Tim for all of our appliance, heating and air service. This is a wonderful company to work with- timely, fair and honest! Weve worked with them many times in the past with no complaints!

we are a little late with our review here but, better late then never. Our furnace was making a god awful noise early one November day in 2016. We have called on controlled air in the past for simple service work not only on our furnace but our A/C unit so we gave them another shot on our furnace once again. They were prompt in getting out to our house and fixed our unit with in a couple hours. Friendly, reasonable and quick service. A++++++

Had a tech come out to fix our broken ac on one of the hottest days this summer and they didnt make their 4 hour window but did however fix the problem that day. The next week we had the same issue and they backed up their work by sending a tech over on the weekend and the tech Jerry was very good and through and fixed the problem. He took the time to help and explain what was happening. We will certainly use controlled air the next time:)
