I took a first communion dress there last spring. It belongs to a neighbor, we were borrowing it. Of course I wanted it well taken care of, it wasnt mine! I thought it was done well, but when I returned it to the neighbor-she noticed something I never would have-that the outer layer of the dress had "melted" in spots--it was a veil like material. So where it got too hot, it melted/not quite burned. This was all in May. I returned the dress in early June and explained the issue and showed the spots where it had melted. The person I talked with said their seamstress would look at it, see it they could fix it. When I returned they said the seamstress wouldnt be able to do anything. She said they could keep the dress and have their insurance company deal with reimbursement. I left it at that for a few weeks-knowing it can take awhile for insurance companies to do their thing. I called in August, left a message. I called in September, left a message. Finally went to them in person in October, asked about the dress. The same person pretended she didnt know what I was talking about, yet when I gave her my name and information she called everything up on the computer at the front desk. Then she walked past the dress into a back room. Asked me if I had my receipt, or my claim form--first time she had ever asked for those things--and why would I need them if everything was on their computer??? I just asked for the dress back--to which she was like "oh is it this one?" Seriously, the dress had been hanging there for 5 months with nothing done to it? Where was the follow up on the stores end? No return of the messages I had left? Needless to say, I will not recommend this place to anyone and if you have items there-go get them and find a new spot

My company has used Forest Lake Dry Cleaners for years. We havent had any major problems in that time. However, this last time we used them, we had a lot of our clients clothes damaged and when we talked to Lisa the owner, she was less the gracious! She would not take responsibility for her companies’ actions. We asked for reimbursement and she would not willing to even discuss it. She was willing to redo the items, which was done however they came back just as bad and some were worse! When telling her that we wanted out money back for the cleaning she was rude, unprofessional and even started to yell. Our company will no longer be using her services going forward. We are going to have to replace the items ruined by her company out of pocket which is over 1,200.00. Beware, if you don’t want your clothing ripped, wrinkled or shrunken don’t go to her.

Im so disappointed! Do NOT go here. I will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau. Go to St. Croix Cleaners by Target.
