I have been to hand and stone several times and their services were great. Decided to purchase a membership. For my husband and i. Unfortunately, due to his employer closing its doors i informed the staff i needed to discontinue our membership. Which seemed to be easy enough, until 2 months later 2 charges appeared on our account. Promptimg our bank to assess 2 overdraft charges as well as the charges for membership. When called about it i was told my membership was frozen, then unfrozen. And that i needed a cancellation letter to stop the charges. Which the staff had never informed me of at the time of my request. I spoke to a girl named Gina, who informed me of all this paperwork. She assured me it would be taken care of.i sent their cancellation paperwork and she handled that promptly. However, i left a message requesting a call back which was never done. So here we are, struggling with one income, raising 3 children and no response regarding the unauthorized charges to our account. Of Which 65% are overdraft charges. While we enjoyed our experience regarding the therapists and their abilities, i woul give their customer service a zero. Being in sales muself its my belief that the job actually begins after the sale. Not a value shared by hand and stone. I will never be back and if asked i will share my experience readily.

I enjoyed my first massage with this spa. I then purchased a package and the level of service went downhill rather quickly. When I arrived for my second massage and waited for 15 minutes I asked the receptionist if I had the time of my appointment mixed up. I did not, but they failed to tell me upon check in that she was running late. So we started about 20 minutes late. I did get my full allotted time, but it was less than convenient since I booked my appointment knowing THAT was the time that fit into my schedule. When I attempted my third massage with them the massage therapist greated me on time, but started 10 minute late and wrapped up on time, leaving me with a 40 minute massage - not the 50 that I paid for. Upon checking out and leaving I was not once asked how everything was. After walking towards the door I opted to turn around and provide feedback on the service and how disappointed I was with the shortened service. Their response was to upgrade my massage the next time. I informed them that I was done using their service and my package was to be cancelled. If you run late twice and dont value my time I cant imagine you will value you on the consecutive visits in the future. The massage therapists are good - nothing out of the norm. Based on their service model, I cannot recommend them.

I had my first massage at this spa yesterday and was prepared to write an honest review today. My honest opinion: Fantastic! I have gotten monthly massages for a few years and was so happy with Ann, who gave me one of the best relaxation massages Ive gotten in a long time. I had a great front desk experience and was asked if Id be interested in a membership after my massage. No high pressure. I did take the membership option since its less than my current membership elsewhere, which is expiring anyway. The membership is a great value, I can gift three massages to my husband a year, and the hours are convenient to me. I highly recommend you give this spa a try!

Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa has been an answer to prayers! For years I have struggled with acne and desperately would go to the dermatologist. Their harsh chemical solutions did not help. After only a few months of going to Hand & Stone for facials - I saw dramatic results. The Esthetician has been so patient figuring out solutions to treat my skin nice & the way it should be treated without harsh chemicals. She is always willing to go out of her way to help my skin & giving suggestions. The customer service is incredible. Always wanting to work with me & make my experience the best. Their membership program is such a deal. You must go here!

The massage itself wasnt bad. But they said to be there early for paper work. I got there 15 min before and still didnt see the masseuse until about 15 after my schedule time. I looked at clock when we started and then when she said I was done it had been only half an hour. I paid for an hour but only got half the time. 8 pm scheduled. Didnt start till after 8:15 and was done when the clock read 8:46. I just paid and left. I wont go back. I should have read reviews before could have saved me from the same experiences. The massage was fine. Not the best Ive had but it was fine. But I wont go back if I get half the time Im paying for.

I called and booked an appointment for my first time. When I showed up they told me the therapist didnt show up so they told me I can wait for about 20-30 minutes and have a different therapist massage me. I decided to wait. After filling out paperwork and ready for my massage they told me no one can help me at all...I spoke to management and she told me to wait an extra two hours on top of waiting for a different therapist and thats all they had to offer. Terrible service and to think I was going to sign up for their membership? HA! Do not recommend.

I made an appointment for my daughters 15th birthday, her golden birthday. Got the confirmation text. Showed up at maple grove. They told me I had an appointment at Plymouth. Tried calling the number multiple times on the confirmation text to let them know we were being sent to Plymouth. Get to Plymouth for them to tell us they dont have an appointment in their system. Thanks for ruining my daughters golden birthday. OH. And they charged my credit card on top of it!! So frustrated

Emily Emily Emily you are fantastic! I love a therapist who actually listens to the needs of the client. I went in with a lot of lower back pain and she listened to what I wanted and needed and performed excellently. The strokes and pressure applied was just right. It was awful experience and the staffs are not trained at all. No cares for the customers. I end up with a scar on my face, and the owner did nothing to help or prevent this from reoccurring. If you care for yourself, stay away from this spa. There is no ethic here.

Very professional and friendly staff. My masseuse was excellent. The spa was quite busy on the day I went. The staff will try to sell you a membership package and the sales pressure is a bit much. Otherwise its a great place to pamper yourself.

Once again I received an amazing massage from Tom! I appreciate that he always asks me first if there are any areas of concern and then really focuses on those areas. I always look forward to my massage days! I highly recommend Hand & Stone!!

I am a monthly member. My scheduled massage therapist was out sick. I was rescheduled but when I arrived for my rescheduled appointment I was told I had no appointment. It is difficult to have the same therapist more than twice.
