My go-to therapists are Adrienne and Jaime. But most of the people Ive explored are pretty good, too. Adrienne has a style that is perfect in using her elbows for deep tissue. Her pressure is heavy like the way that I want (without pain the next day), and she effectively terminates tension. Shes my boyfriend and best friends favorite. Jaime is amazing for general massages. Shes great with people who never had a massage before, and when my back is not bad enough for pinpoint deep tissue elbow work, I go to her to work away light to moderate tension. She also is amazing for working my neck, to relieve tension headaches. Jaime still does great deep tissue, but I favor Adrienne a little more in that department if my back is bad enough. So basically I flip flop between those two mostly. I did have a bad massage by a male therapist there. He was rough and I felt like a rag doll the whole time. Ive never had a massage from Alan, so I dont know if hes good or not. But I dont remember the name of the guy I did have. Basics about this place: standard massage time is 50 min., and 5 min. of consultation before and after massage. Membership is available, which lowers the price for a monthly massage, and cancelling or putting your account on hold for a few months is easy. Cancellation consists of paying for the following months massage (which you can attend), so basically there is no fee. First appointment is discounted. Everyone is really nice there. If you pay for a month and dont go, the next month you can have the 2 massages or combine the two payments into one of their upgrades, which is pretty cool. My best friend likes the aromatherapy add on. I have yet to try it. Stone massage kind of sucks because theres not much pressure at all, but if you like hot rocks lightly rubbed on your back then I guess its for you. I hope that helps to anyone interested!

Service was great checking in at the front desk but was very disappointed with my massage. My masseuse did not apply barley any pressure despite my multiple requests before and throughout the massage. It literally felt like she was just rubbing my skin... not enjoyable at all. Supposed to be an hour long massage but lasted about 45 minutes. Got there early, was called in 10 minutes past my appt, and the massage was ended 5 minutes before the hour was up. My masseuse did not seem very experienced at all. Ive received multpile full body massages before and this was probably the worst. After my massage I didnt even feel like I had any tension relieved. My body felt the exact same as it did when I walked in, maybe a little more tense because of my frustration haha. Unfortunately was a total waste of money. Very disappointed.

Received well at the reception and masseuse Cat was nice at chatting, but not so much with massage. Why would a masseuse does hand gestures while chatting, when only person in that room is facing down on a massage table with eyes shut??? Requested multiple times before and during the session, that more pressure to be applied, I wanted the deep tissue massage and knots cleared, but she clearly not in the mood to put that effort required. Left the place without paying gratuity, and clear feedback. Not saying all masseuse are the same in this facility. Be clear to them on what you are expecting beforehand and save your time, money and feeling disappointed.

I am new to massages in the last year and tried a couple other places before this. I am an active, athletic person going for stress relief and general relaxation. The front desk is ridiculously nice. I had an appointment rescheduled due to illness and they compensated me with a free upgrade (hot towel foot treatment...surprised at how much I LOVED that). They have the "points" that you accumulate and can also use for upgrades. Oh, and, the massages are wonderful too! Ive tried several of the staff and enjoying learning all about the different styles and how they affect me, mind and body. I would definitely recommend!

Went for a massage, was skeptical as the place reminded me of a massage envy where I have not had such a great experience in the past, but I was pleasantly surprised, the massage was done well. Their member program is way better than other places as they dont charge you the membership fee, you just pay for manthly massage at a discounted rate and can carry over to next month if not used. I signed up as I tried to get massages more often plus I get facials once in awhile so I can use it for that as well. I hope I will not be disappointed!

Front desk staff was very friendly, ambiance was inviting and peaceful. Massage was excellent! I had Alvaro I believe. He made me feel comfortable, did an awesome job and checked to make sure the pressure was right throughout the massage. I would recommend Hand & Stone to anyone looking for a unique spa experience, they arent like the other chains out there! You dont feel like just another number or get harassed about a membership. Worth it!

I went to the newly opened Maple Grove location. Gina at the front desk was very friendly & informative. Salina did a great deep tissue massage with aromatherapy & hot towel therapy. I ended up getting a membership for $49.99 a month because I love Dermalogica facials & the rewards points are enticing - I already earned a free upgrade. This helps me take care of myself.

Wow! I just visited for the first time last week. Its a newer place so I expected it to be "ok" but I was blown away! It was probably my best massage ever, the staff were all very friendly and professional, and the atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. Ill be back as often as I can get there!

I got a massage before my wedding - this was the first time I had tried Hand and Stone, and I will definitely be going back. I purchased their membership program for discounted massages each month and am looking forward to using them!
