Friendly enough people, but my massage was really, realy, really bad. The kind you would expect to be a joke, but then it kept going . . . and you realize too late that its for real. But to be fair, I gotta point out that my husband actually did enjoy his massage. So I was happy about that! We did a couples massage, but I think everything went downhill for me once I confirmed with them that I was pregnant. The lady told me not to worry, because my masseuse had 5 years experience. But what that end up translating into was a super super light pressure massage, with lots of pauses, through a sheet. Along with me needing to stabilize myself on my side, using my arms for most of the 90 minutes. There also didnt seem to be any real professional technique being used as Ive got used to experiencing in the past. And unfortunately I didnt know what suggestions to make, other than pressure, to make it a better experience. Throughout the massage my masseuse actually never communicated with me or asked me any questions at all. My husbands masseuse however, checked on him about 10 times thoughout. I asked him for more pressure because I couldnt feel much of anything through the sheet, and after both masseuses got a good chuckle, he said "Ok" but I never got it. I wanted the massage to stop early, but also hoped it would get better and wed get some of our money and times worth (it was about an hour drive for us) and I didnt want to ruin it all for my husband by just getting up and walking out. I was also disappointed because even though they knew I was pregnant, I ended up in positions that left me feeling sick and achy. Something that pillows below the knees while laying on my back, or between my knees while on my side couldve helped. They also required a tip before leaving. Four of them, (the two masseuses, another guy I didnt know, and the receptionist from the office) hovered around the bathroom door to ask us for the tip. I didnt tip mines, and headed to the car, but my husband tipped his, and they actually asked for more. They were also dishonest for the reason they accidently went over time on our massage, which as an after thought, kind of irritates me. I still liked the people well enough because you could tell they made an effort to be polite, but there were just so many things about the massage I very much hated and the communication barrier seemed too big of a barrier in the end. Final thoughts: if youre pregnant, Id go somewhere else for a massage. And itd probably be ideal if you spoke the same native language as the masseuses so that you can communicate your needs better, in case of a communication break down.

I have received a lot of massages over the years. This was the worst massage I had ever had. With most places you have to sign a waiver and talk to them about your allergies and any health concerns. I was brought back right away, a man walked in hardly said hi, never introduced himself and just got down to business. After 40 minutes he just walked out of the room without saying anything and came back 5 minutes later with a burning hot towel, and I love heat. He then placed it on my back without mentioning it to me. There was nothing relaxing about the massage it was basically a backrub with forearm and elbow action all over my body which actually hurts if you continuously rub on your spine. He lifted up my legs and dropped them to the table 4 times in a row, pound on my hands, actually pulled out the karate chop moves and the foot massage consisted of him massaging every single one of my toes and pulling them out of their joints. So if your expecting a deep massage to get those knots or relax those muscles, dont expect it. It was the craziest experience, I thought I was on Candid Camera. I would never go back.

Questionable location for a spa. I pulled up and wondered what I was walking into. I walked in and handed the guy my Groupon for a 90 minute massage. I didnt fill out any paperwork on my health, pain, or any comments/concerns, nor was I asked if I wanted a male or female masseuse. I was brought to the room with a maximum word count of 15 words. The guy started massaging my back. He would ask how it felt and I would have to tell him to go a little softer because it was painful. He left the room for a few minutes without saying anything, twice. The second time he brought in the hot stones. Halfway through the massage, he told me I would have to pay an additional $25 for a full body massage instead of doing a 30 minute foot massage (mind you, this had nothing to do with the Groupon). The type of massages he did were nothing like Ive had before, lots of forearm and elbow work along the spine- which is now pretty sore the day after. I wouldnt recommend this place- if anything, I would go to a chain. I did not enjoy this massage at all.

This was the worst massage experience of my life. We couldnt wait for it to end, and I only wish Id known how bad my partner was hating too, as wed gotten the couples massage. From the skipping CD, to them talking to each other, to the erratic speed he was massaging me with, it was impossible to relax. It was painful and I have never had someone massage right on my spine- ouch! At one point I had to ask him to stop because it felt so bad, but he kept going and I had to say it repeatedly, stressing that Id had an injury. Like previous people have said, they pick up and drop your legs, repeatedly try and pop your phalanges, use a really hot towel (which was almost welcoming since it was so cold in there). At one point they actually said, "no pain no gain". We kept hoping it would get better, but it just kept getting worse. Even the tables and head holes in and of themselves were painful to lay on, definitely home-made. Do not go here!

Trouble calling them to make appt. They dont answer their phone. Left message they do not call you back. Finally got appt and ended up stuck in traffic tried to call no one answered the phone to let them know i might be a few minutes late. Got to my appt 5 minutes late and was told since i was late she took another customer. I asked why she didnt call me and she stated she never call customer. I will not make another appt here....Also they do not have a good sign on the road, it just say massage, so i drove around the block looking for it.

My boyfriend scheduled a couples massage here for our anniversary. First walking in, (didnt look very professional) we began talking to a man who he scheduled the appointment with. He said that he didnt have time for us even after making an appointment. He was very hard to understand, my boyfriend walked out and the man ran after trying to get us to reschedule. All we wanted was a nice professional massage. From the other reviews Ive read after knowing what the place was called, Im happy we only made it that far. 0 Stars.
