I was tired of the quick, cheap looking, same old hair cut. So I decided to step up my budget a little bit and went into New Reflections an Aveda salon. Ive always loved the smell of their products. I was instantly greeted and got right in and had the pleasure of working with Casey(her hair cut price was in my budget) . It didnt take her long after a couple questions to figure an idea for my new look. l immediately felt comfortable. Then she brought me back and washed my hair and gave me the best dam head message ive ever had. I was ready to pay right thenanf there and she hadnt even cut my hair yet!!! While cutting she really focused on my hair instead of the awkward small talk which I really appreciated. The hair cut turned out amazing and she even went through how to style my new cut! The Pho Hammer is what ive named it! I walked in a little nervous of change but walked out with a new look, some product that works and smells awesome and now a new hair stylus for life! Please dont move lol! Already pre booked my next cut! Ask for Casey for real!!! Whole experience was a home run! The old saying "you get what you pay for" really describes my experience. Cant wait to get back in for my next cut! Shes easy on the eyes as well! Def a customer for life, feel like I hit the hair cut lottery!!!! Wish I could give her 50 stars! Well done Casey!!!! Well done!

Bad experience. When I got there the woman sat me down and asked me "what are we doing today?" I told her I had booked for a foil to touch up my roots. She started combing through my hair, and she made a face as she did it - like my hair grossed her out - I blew it off, as it had been raining and I had just got done with a long day at work. Then she asked me if I wanted a full foil, to which I replied yes that is what I booked for. She then told me she didnt think she had time to do my hair, then disappeared for 10 minutes came back, and her another woman were trying to figure out how to do my hair. They said that this was the problem with booking through their call center - that the person didnt book enough time. I told them I had driven over an hour in rush hour traffic for this appointment, and they basicall said there was nothing they could do except give me a partial foil. I just left. What a total waste of time. They were totally unprofessional, rude and uncaring. Do not go here, theres a reason this place is in a mall.

This was not a great cut. I have been here before and had a great experience, but unfortunately this was not the case yesterday. While the stylist was perfectly polite, she appeared very quiet and checked out as she kept looking out of the store into the mall. I asked for light layers, a small amount of layers, and the last two inches of my hair are some of the choppiest layers I have ever had. Not only this, but the stylist overloaded my hair with product so much so that I couldnt even get it all out with washing it this morning. It is tangled and feels disgusting at the bottom like there is a film on it. I get it, stylists have to promote the product but I find it hard to believe that my thin hair requires FOUR products, including a thick serum. It was not build up from my own doing, as I do not regularly use product. Very disappointed, I will unfortunately not be going back to this stylist.

I am one more avid Casey fan! She is absolutely the best hair stylist and colorist I have ever had - and I go waaaaay back! For over the 2 years I have been seeing her, she is always positive, friendly and professional. She always asks how the last haircut/color went for me and then asks what I would like to see today. She is honest when I make suggestions, that is, if she thinks it will work or not. I appreciate that! Then onto a head massage, wash, conditioning and a wonderful hand massage. She can be chatty or not depending on my needs. The cut and/or color is always and I mean always fabulous! The salons system is very efficient and caring. I cant imagine anyone being treated unkindly there. The front desk is friendly and helpful. They always offer to take my coat and inquire if I would like to have something to drink -coffee, tea or water. I am a permanent customer and loving it!

I wasnt sure what to expect; as I was a walk-in the day I stopped by to see if I could get my haircut. Not only was I cordially greeted by the gals at the front desk. They were also most accommodating! I had my hair cut by Lauren and it was nothing short of fantastic. She greeted me and brought me back to her chair to consult on my hair style, look at the way my hair grows and what I was thinking of for a haircut/style. She proceeded to pre-condition my hair at her station prior to washing, then I was escorted to the washing station for a shampoo, head massage, conditioning and rinse. The entire salon experience was so incredibly relaxing and great!! Based on my experience there, I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I had a haircut today with stylist Lauren Smigiel. The experience I had with her was WONDERFUL. As a male going to a salon I usually feel very out of place. When I walked into the salon Lauren greeted me with a warm gesture and instantly made me feel comfortable. Lauren was beyond professional and presented a very amiable and genuinely kind hearted atmosphere. We talked about life as if we were old friends through the entire haircut. That was my first visit to a salon that didnt want to end. I will most definitely go back because of the experience I had with Lauren. For anyone looking for a warm hearted talented young woman I advise seeing Lauren Smigiel at New Reflections in the Ridgedale Mall.

Very terrible experience. I called three days prior to make an eyebrow wax appointment. I got to the salon and waited 5 minutes. They came up to me and said it was going to be another 20 minutes for the esthetician. I didnt have time to wait I had other appointments to get to. They never said they were sorry or offered any alternative. They just let me walk out no problem. I will never return to a place with such poor customer service. Apparently appointments do not matter.

As always with Aveda, amazing experience. Hair wash, scalp massage and hand massage....before getting a great cut! I always book with Casey and she does a wonderful job every time! I cant say enough good things about her professionalism and hair styling technique. I am a picky person about my hair and how it is done....Casey makes it look perfect each time. I wouldnt go anywhere else!!

I love this salon! Neck and head massages and hand massages included in services. My stylist, Casey, is a pro-- her blowouts are Amazing. I get loads of compliments and the style lasts at least 3 days. Shes on time and takes extra time to make sure your hair looks perfect. This place is so convenient, right next to Macys in Ridgedale. Dont miss this great place, you will love it!
