Too much stylist turnover. I started going to this salon when I moved to town (a little less than a year ago). I was hoping to develop a lasting relationship with a stylist, because I dont like having someone different cutting my hair every couple of months. I started with one stylist and she ended up leaving, but I gave it another shot and started seeing another stylist, she left too. Needless to say, I wont be going back. I thought this salon would have a home town feel, with local stylists (low turnover), but I was wrong. The salon does not have a friendly home town vibe and I always felt like an ‘outsider’. I do have a few good things to say. The prices were reasonable and I was happy with the haircuts from the two stylists I saw.

Margie and Melissa have both done great work for me and I would highly recommend both of them. Previously I went to a stylist a distance away who did a fantastic job and knew my hair well, so I was very nervous to switch. I wanted to support our local businesses so I tried Salon Allure and have been very happy and I have never looked back!
