Velvet Touch catered our July 2016 wedding (and rehearsal) at Next Chapter Winery. Were from Minneapolis and had been looking at caterers in the city who would travel to New Prague, but it was stressful because nobody was familiar with the venue. We finally reached out to Chef John and my only regret is that we didnt do so sooner! He drove up to Minneapolis to meet with us and significantly reduced our stress level. Hes passionate about his business and cooking, so it was refreshing to meet with someone upbeat, positive, excited to cater our wedding, and full of helpful suggestions and insights about how long our number of guests would take to go through a buffet, what the space requirements would be, etc. He was committed to running our event smoothly. Hes done several events at Next Chapter so he was familiar with the layout, didnt have as many menu restrictions as the other caterers we interviewed (who were scared by the venues lack of a full kitchen), could accommodate special diets, and offered reduced pricing for our child guests. His pricing was very fair and the food was DELICIOUS. Several people told us that it was the best rehearsal and wedding food theyd had. The servers were friendly and professional and they even boxed up the leftovers for us to take the next day. Chef John was responsive to our questions as the event approached and good to work with as far as delivering final numbers, payments, etc. We highly recommend Velvet Touch Catering!

For the last 3 years, Chef Jon has served as the only caterer for our Mens Golf Club, in New Prague, Catering for the club members involves preparing and then serving 4 -5 meals to us each year. Jon always has our food dishes ready on time and the food is always top quality in variety and freshness. He has a great menu to choose items from and his per person costs are very reasonable considering the high quality of the foods he prepares. The BBQ pork is especially delicious and satisfying!. In the upcoming years, our club will continue to enjoy the dinners and lunches Chef Jon fixes for us.

Velvet Touch Catering his amazing to work with! I have worked with Jon for a few years on our annual Couples Banquet. Jon offers great suggestions for food and has a way of letting you know you can trust him from the planning stage to the day of the event. I honestly have never worked with a better caterer. Jon and his team come prepared and are professional. They leave the kitchen clean and the food is impeccable. For days after the event, I have guests commenting on how wonderful the food tasted. I am always so grateful when Velvet Touch is available to cater our event.

Amazing! Their food is great! Atmosphere is amazing. I would go here everyday to hang out with friends. They had me and everyone from pop groups hang there after our mini tours! Everyone had fun! Great place!
