Ive been with Anytime for about 6 years now, the last three have been at Oakdale. I programmed on my own for a few years then started personal training with Andrew Nelson for a year. Ill tell you why you should work with Andrew. Understand it is impossible to know everything when it comes to fitness and that theres so much false information out there. If youre looking to loose weight and become a better you, how do you get started? Meet with Andrew, tell him your goals, your current program, past injuries, what you like to do (HIIT, Lifting, Cardio), tell him you need to be pushed or you got this, tell him about your nutrition, tell him you want to get started. I saw Andrew every Monday, it kept me going every week, sometimes I didnt feel like going but because I had that appointment, I went and I was grateful and kept my week on point. When you dont have that appointment, you miss Monday and then maybe the whole week! One day you may not feel like doing your program, he can mix it up and deliver a new workout for you. I enjoy HIIT when Im bored. Maybe you injured yourself and now you need to continue your program in a safe manner, he can help you work around this. Andrew is a big dude and he didnt get that way by mistake, ask him about proper form on your bench, squat, deads and presses. Ask him to completely murder you in circuits. Whatever personality you are, quiet, shy, loud, a joker or serious, he can adapt to you and push you. Hes a great listener and fun to be around. He makes you want to go and is also flexible at scheduling. Understand that you may only sign up to see Andrew once a week, you need to do the rest. Ask him about nutrition, your battle with weight loss is mostly that!!! Ask him to keep you on track. Use his decade plus worth of experience to guide you to a new you. This year use your money for your health, mind and body instead of wasting it on material objects. Think about it!

After trying LA Fitness and Xperience Fitness, Anytime has by far been my favorite. There is various kinds of cardio and strength training equipment, which is always maintained cleanly and functions properly. You never have to wait to use the equipment due to the large number of machines and intimate size of the gym. The staff is always extremely friendly, positive and knowledgable! The gym is more personable, where trainers get to know the members and help them with starting exercises, maintaining them, and diversifying them. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone who wants to continue or make a healthy lifestyle change. The personal trainers are always willing to help with nutritional and physical health, as well as provide support through out the process. They are flexible, fun, and very energetic! Andrew has been my personal trainer and he is the best!! He has continuously introduced me to new exercises and nutritional options to obtain my goal, and is also always available to educate members on health and overcoming personal obstacles! He is extremely easy to talk and relate too, and makes my workouts safe, challenging and fun! I feel much more confident and healthy since I have been training with him. I have been very pleased with my experience this far and would highly recommend this gym!

Great Gym! Staff is helpful and friendly. As an "over 40/mother of 3" I have never felt intimidated at Anytime Fitness Oakdale. Clientele is all ages and fitness levels. Facilities are clean. Equipment is well maintained. Studio is available for both individual workouts and for the use of free "on demand" workout videos. We have been members since 2008. Over the years, I have worked out on my own, participated in a 12 week Boot Camp and worked with Personal Trainers. CC (my current trainer) is FABULOUS!!!!! If you are looking to get in shape for the first time, get back in shape after a few years or stay in shape, this is the place for you!

I have been a member of this gym since it opened and have to agree with the person who wrote the review in July - the gym is clean and well maintained. I will add that if you really want to get the most out of your time at the gym, look into training with DK. Seriously! I took a long time, but came down approx. 40 lbs and a few sizes! Love the complements it has given me and mainly the health and well being! After all, dont we all share in common the desire to be able to continue walking and feeling good as we get older! By the way, YES, the owner and the rest of the staff are great as well!

I have to agree! Im just getting back into working out after having a few kids and taking some time off. A personal trainer is just what I needed. CC is working with me and is absolutely wonderful! I cant say enough great things about her. She is more than just a personal trainer - she checks in with me daily, teaches me about nutrition, and gets me through tough (but fun) workouts. Im getting stronger, the lbs are dropping, and feeling GREAT!! The rest of the team always has a smile on their faces, too. Thank you CC and the rest of the Oakdale team!!

Anytime Fitness has been great!! I made a resolution for new years of 2010 to lose weight. I got a groupon for AnyTime Fitness for membership fees, and 3 free personal training sessions. Once I did personal training I realized that I would need their motivation. I kept up with personal training, and I have lost almost 100 pounds to date, and I am feeling great. Than you AnyTime Fitness, and Cici!!!!

Anytime Fitness in Oakdale is a great gym. They have all the equipment you need for a great workout. My Personal Trainer (AN) has helped me out a lot. He gives me great workout tips and incorporates new things into my workout (such as cross-training, and cross-fit routines) where I need them. With his motivation and support I definitely have noticed a difference. Thank you Anytime Fitness!!!! :)

I really enjoyed the training that I received from Andrew. He did a wonderful job teaching me new techniques in regards to lifting and building muscle. He went at my pace, which I really appreciated. I would reccommend him to others looking for a personal trainer.

Their website says they have spin bikes. No, they do not! They have one recumbent bike and 1 Precor bike with a big mama seat. I brought my cycling shoes ready to spin. No such luck. I would appreciate an honest representation of equipment for visitors.

I agree with ppkid. Although the premise behind anytime fitness is access not costumer service the service at this club is horrible. It is next to impossible to make contact with someone.

Great gym - easy to find and get to from the highway. Clean and very well equipped. Love the functional training area too. That sled push tank is the bomb!

Friendly staff, not pushy about getting me to sign up, and its never overly crowded. Always clean and you can always get on whatever equipment you want.
