I cannot describe in words the emotional HORROR in allowing Missy to attempt to style my hair. I was sitting there watching in disbelief how she was c in disbelief Ill she was my hair how she was cutting my hair cutting my hair. I finally said " We have to stop"! Saying (quietly) " are you sure what youre doing Missy". Paraphrasing her words "Oh yes, I just have to blend a little bit more here ". I allowed her to cut a few more times (my mistake) saying again " We have to stop"! Missy looked at me as if to be relieved that I would stop her and said "yes, Ill get Connie". Connie came over, attempted to correct the absolute mess that Missy had made. I proceeded to say to Connie (very quietly) "Im sorry but I couldnt let her cut anymore" Connie replied (quietly) " Im glad you didnt". Before Connie was done but COULD NOT correct the right side of my hair because it was such a chopped up mess... Connie said " come back within a week if you need it tweaked"! I thought to myself the difference between a good haircut and a bad haircut is 2 weeks. This is going to take me TWO YEARS to grow it out to my shoulders again... Because Missy had made One Big Chop on my right side at the bottom of my ear. To top it off, well I was gathering my things Missy walked up to the receptionist desk waiting for me to come up and pay. Thats when I leaned over put my hand on her upper arm and said (quietly) "Im not paying for this" then proceeded to walk out. NO WORDS CAN DESCRIBE! I was so taken aback by the whole ordeal I really was dumbfounded and speechless! I knew if I had said anything, what I was thinking while I was there. I would embarrass myself and those around. I opted to not say what I was thinking. I did call back and spoke to Connie, knowing it wasnt going to accomplish anything, I just needed to get it off my chest ... We all can have a bad day! Missy should not be cutting hair without more training.... Very sad!

Worst experience ever! Waited for 10minutes (not a huge deal) got into the chair and told Le what I wanted done and she said no. She said it was too short to start a big like look but at that point it felt too late to walk away. Then off to the shampoo station where another Asian lady was putting towels away, Le pointed at my hair and said something in another language. The moment you know someone is talking about you is the worst freaking feeling. They went on and on as Le was pulling my hair in freezing cold water washing it pulling it so hard I actually got a headache. Then off to the actually cutting she didnt listen to what I wanted and only cut a centimeter off (in one spot a few) a two inch width in the back of my head. There is a huge piece of hair looking like a little tail and gaps in the back of my hair. Now to my bangs all she did was angle downwards with a scissors no blending or anything. Three times during this cut she said "you no cut until January February!!" after I mentioned I was getting married. After the haircut was finished she shouted "this good this good" and I was so frustrated with everything I basically ran out of the chair. Still have her a $4 tip even though I should have given nothing but she took a $5 or $10 from the drawer while I was standing right there. Talked to my fiance and he made me call back and ask for my money back because doing so makes me so anxious. So I did and talked to the manager who asked no details of the situation and said they dont give refunds but would be happy to fix it. I said Id be back but theres no way in hell Im ever going back to Fantastic Sams. This is the second or third time Ive been to this location and the second time Ive had an awful expirence. Should have read the reviews!! Very disappointed and a waste of $20

TERRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL, LONG WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After telling me the wait would not be long, I decided to wait. After twenty five minutes I asked how long it would be. They told me another 45 minutes to an hour! While I was there, some women had been waiting. One told me she had been there for over 1 hour and 45 minutes after being told upon arrival it would be a few minute wait. The stylists told her they were sorry for the wait. An hour and 45 minutes deserves more than an "Im sorry" after being told it would be a few minutes. The other women had to wait long as well. I was one of four people waiting and although there was a huge line some of the stylists were standing around or talking on the phone. One stylist was looking at pictures of a customer’s grand kids then chatting with her at the counter for some time. After finished with customers, the stylists were in no hurry to move on to the next people who had been waiting for almost two hours. Its not only that they are far understaffed, but the stylists dont seem to care. People have better things to do than wait for a somewhat mediocre service. It bothers me even more that I was lied to. When I had enough of the wait and asked how much longer, the stylist was extremely rude to me. They clearly do not value their customer’s time. I will never come back. EVER!!!!!

I recently moved to plymouth and was in need of finding a new place to get my haircut...i was always going to Great Clips and never had a complaint (maybe barely 1) but all in all, happy. I stopped at Fantastic Sams in Plymouth "skeptible" of a how this experience would go. Not only was i taken care of in a similar fashion as my Great Clips experiences, i finally got a stylist by the name of Mis"t"y B (NOT to be mistaken for Missy). I couldnt be happier, by far the best haircut ive ever had. On my way out multiple times, she has stopped and taken me back to touch something up. She stands out by being a perfectionist, obviously not trained to get em in and get em out on some sort of assembly line time frame. I would recommend this facility as well as Misty B for any haircut. Everyone has their opinions, i merely want to stress mine so all realize, one poor review of someone else on one occasion should not mask the COUNTLESS times i experienced a great haircut by fun, personable people.

NEVER GO THERE. THEY RUINED MY HAIR. I am very unhappy because I went there excited that I was about to dye my brown hair blond but they didnt tell me that my end result would be very different from my expectations. They had me pay a large amount of money and I hate what Im stuck with now. U will find much better salons then this I can guarantee u. Sure they cut hair well and they are nice but dont dye your hair the way u want it and you will be left sad and it will be too late because u will have spend the money . So now Im left with my mostly brown hair with very little blonde.
