I had the most amazing experience with Shad Owens today. After years of not getting my hair cut because I was trying to grow it out it had become unmanageable. I would have endless tangles which result in migraines so I had given up and worn my hair in a bun for the past 2 years. I finally decided to take a couple of hours for myself and get my hair done. From the moment I sat down in his chair, to the massage, haircut and blowout I felt completely comfortable with Shad. He is a master and I will definitely be recommending him to all my friends and family.

All of the stylists at The Hair District are independent contractors, simply renting chairs within the business. They share the washing stations. Ive been going to Jaime Arante to get my hair cut for almost 10 years now. I followed her from Great Clips to The Hair District. She does an excellent job for me; though as a guy who gets his hair cut pretty short, Im guessing it doesnt present much of a challenge. Shes very personable and does listen to what you want, only making suggestions if asked.

Although my hair turned out half as nice as I wanted it too, dont expect to go back and get your stylist to fix it the way YOU want it for free. Also, if youre young, the stylists will totally take advantage of that. Since each stylist basically has their own prices and are their own bosses, the owners of "The Hair District" really dont have much say in what their employees can and cannot do. Neverrrrrr going here again!!!!!!!! And I suggest you dont either!

Love my haircuts and foil by Tiffany Morgan. My first cut with her was a Dry Cut which was perfect for me and almost no one does that here (I lived in NYC where dry cuts rule). Tiffany rocked it out and continues to give my hair the attention to detail and precision a good hairstylist should give. I love that she is never rushes her attention and sincerely takes pride in her artistry. I booked future appointments with her and am so pleased!

Rude to guests! I accompanied my friend to get a haircut and I thought the place was really pretty but the ladies there were kind of rude. I usually stand by my friends side and talk to her (obviously we arent loud because we respect other people too) but the lady, very rudely, told me to go wait for my friend in the front of the store. I wouldnt recommend going here, unless you dont mind strangers being rude to your friends and family.

I dont write reviews often, but I felt the need to do so in this case. Ive have had the BEST experience with Tiffany Morgan at the Hair District. After many years of discount haircuts, I decided to give a salon a try and couldnt be happier. Tiffany has patiently listened to me describe what Im looking for in a cut, and then takes the time to make sure I get the cut I want. I cant imagine going anywhere else.

Ive been seeing Marie for about five years, ever since she volunteered to fix my hair after a bad cut from another hair stylist there (who is no longer there btw). She saved the day! Shes so nice and does great work. I love the Hair District atmosphere and the products they carry. I always get great advice and wonderful service! Highly recommend :)

Terra Watts is absolutely fabulous. I have been going to Terra for years. She is a true artist with hair. I get my hair cut and highlighted over lunch and then go back to work. I always get compliments all afternoon about how wonderful my hair. Terra is also very genuine and authentic. I highly recommend Terra!

Amanda Evans is amazing. My hair and eyebrows walk out of there flawless everytime I come in. She is very attentive to what I want done and is honest as far as what my hair will do/look like with certain colors/styles. I trust her completely and would recommend her to anyone!

Wife had a color done right before the Christmas vacation by Keighley Haapala, hair color turned out wrong, made another appt to fix the color, was 7 minutes late due to a snow storm and she refused to see her. Waste of $170
