I would give Zen Asian Spa 0 stars if I could. Zen Asian Spa is one of the WORST experiences I have ever had and the most terrible customer service. Here is my story: On March 8th, I made an appointment for a couples massage for this past Saturday (3/18) at 2 pm. My fiancé and I planned our day around this appointment as we had been looking forward to this relaxing time for over a week, but when we arrived at Zen Asian Spa our experience was anything but relaxing. We walked into Zen Asian Spa at 1:55pm and moments later a man walks up and asks if we have an appointment. I confirmed that we did at 2pm to which he replies that we would need to wait a bit. When I asked how long he told me an hour as he had a walk-in appointment come. Shocked by this disrespectful answer I asked why would he take a walk-in appointment at 1:50 when he knew that we had an appoint 10 mins later. He told me we can wait for our massages at 3pm. Still shocked by the disrespect of this business my fiancé and I decided to go grab some lunch while we waited. On our car ride we discussed how terrible that man treated us and decided that we should call to confirm he would for sure see us at 3pm if we were to be there at that time. I called Zen Asian Spa, where the same man we dealt with in person answered the phone. I asked for him to confirm that if we were there at 3 pm that he would for sure take our appointment. The man said he needed to "check". At this point I am fuming; you need to CHECK?? Are you kidding me? We had an appointment scheduled over a week in advance for 2PM. When the man gets back on the phone from "checking" if they could take our appointment at 3m (an hour late) he tells me that they are busy all day and I should "come in next weekend". ... I could not make this up; I mean, seriously?? I have never seen such terrible customer service. Now I am irate from such a terrible experience with such a rude business. I made sure the man knew that I was the same person who had the appointment at 2pm and not a new walk-in. he confirmed that he knew it was me and told me "if you dont want to come back next week then cancel your Groupon". I did just that. Canceled my Groupon and filed a formal complaint towards Zen Asian Spa, who is clearly scamming the good business of Groupon. Normally, I am much more understanding when it comes to businesses but I must admit that this is the most dysfunctional and disrespectful company I have ever had an experience with. I would not recommend Zen Asian Spa to anyone!

This was the WORST massage I have ever had. It was violent, even when I asked her to be gentle and go soft. I dont know why they had me write what kind of pressure I wanted or where I wanted to be treated. It felt like she was making it up as she went along. It was either these really rapid, pressure-less rubs like when a frustrated parent rubs sunscreen onto their kids skin or else it was like being body slammed at a pro-wrestling event. It was agonizing at times. I left way more stressed than I came in. The atmosphere was bizarre. It was stiffling hot. They didnt use sheets, just standard scratchy towels like you would get a community pool. They didnt cover my body, but that didnt really matter because the masseuse pulled them off of me every time I tried to pull them back up. I bought a 3 massage package through Groupon, and I wont be using the other two.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I bought a Groupon today, and I called to make an appointment. I was told I could come in at 3:30. Then I got a call around 3 asking if I could come in at 4 instead, because someone had just walked in to get a massage. I said that I was fine, that I could come in at 4. When I got there, I was told that I could not use the Groupon. The lady said that she asked me on the phone if I had a Groupon, but she never asked that. They would not let me get the massage I had an appointment for unless I used a method of payment other than a Groupon, and paid $70 instead of the $35 amount I paid on Groupon. Dont even waste your time trying to go here.

I love going to Zen Asian Spa, I have been getting massages here for about 3 years, I used to go elsewhere but I never found a spa as good as this one! I have had 2 neck/cervical fusions and unfortunately I have chronic pain. I get a massage about every 3 weeks and it allows me to work full time and manage my pain much better. The spa is very clean and comfortable. I have had massages from several different staff and they all have been very good, great pressure, great technique and very professional. I am so grateful I found them and I will continue to get my massages here. I highly recommend them! :)

The massage was very good, her techniques are amazing! I would definitely come back again for my chronic shoulder pain. Highly recommended to people who are seeking true therapeutic massage for a great deal. This is the best place I have found so far after trying many others "good massages" where they just lightly rub oils on you. Here, they might not have the best customer service experience compared to other places, BUT THEY SURE GET THE JOB DONE!

Despite receiving two confirmation emails (one a month prior when I booked it and one the day of), they didnt have me written down and told me I was wrong. When I showed my confirmations, they tried to ask me to wait two hours or take half cash back (still charging half for a service I wouldnt receive). The gal who was there did try to make accommodations but after driving an hour to get there, I left without my massage and severely disappointed .

The day after my massage my neck is in severe pain. Not like sore muscle pain, more like pinched nerve--I cant turn my head to the right. I also felt the massage therapist was not very professional, she did not seem to be expecting me though I had an email confirmation for the appointment. When she started the massage she was very rough and hurried. It was not relaxing at all. I really wish I had not gone.

A friend recommended this place to me. I thought would give it a try for my back pain. And wow! It was the best deep tissue massage period. The massage therapist was extremely skilled and thorough during the whole 90 min session. It was remarkable how much better and relaxed I feel afterwards. Truly top notch! My chiro is not that good.
