I started going to Joules because of a Groupon. I can see from several reviews here that the issues are in policies/prices/up-selling/results. Every business has the right to have cancellation policies and policies regarding what size area is considered small, medium and large. So this is not an issue for me. They also have the right to expect reimbursement for the taxes due that Groupon does not collect. (And Groupon makes a point of stating this.) Again, no problem. And up-selling? Well, they are a small business. But Ive never felt like they are only trying to get more money from me. Yes, they comment on current specials and note areas that you might be interested in having work done. Because it would help them if you did - but it would also help you! All of these "issues" come with the territory of working with a small business. BUT they have ALL the perks of working with a small business as well! This group is helpful, friendly, considerate and accommodating. Grace, the owner, is always willing to give knowledgeable tips and really gets to know her clientele. The spa always has a warm, family vibe and you feel taken care of. I went here for hair removal. And Ive gone to two other places for hair removal as well. Yep, Joules took a couple more treatments to get the results I wanted. But I also didnt leave the spa with literal WELTS on my body where treatments were done. Ill take a few more treatments over the numbing creams and serious pain Ive encountered at other spas. And all while knowing Im helping an actual business owner and not a corporate franchise. Win-Win.

I went to Joules salon for a simple facial. I purchased it on Groupon for $35 and was excited for a relaxing break. When I first arrived, I was required to have a "consultation" though which is where the owner tried selling me a series of packages including skin peels and hair removal. A high pressure "consultation" is not what I consider relaxing but whatever. Anyway, I am ashamed to say that I ended up purchasing BOTH. In terms of the skin peel. The owner told me there was just one skin peel left in a package and could give me a special rate for it. (NOTE: Since that conversation, I have heard her use that same line repeatedly.) I specifically asked her if I could have a peel while nursing and she assured me that I could. So, feeling pressured and assured at the same time, I did it AND a hair removal package. After purchasing the peel, I looked into the restrictions on the website and learned that the peel could harm my nursing baby. Grace told me that I could only have a credit after informing her of her false claim. Well, that credit equated to just ONE additional hair removal session. In essence, I paid $157 for one additional hair removal session. That is outrageous, especially considering the hair removal package ALSO was not sufficient to remove the patch of hair I was assured would be removed within six sessions as well. After a total of SEVEN sessions and ONE year, over 50% of the area lasered continues to grow hair and they had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to buy another package. No thank you. I will take my business to an ethical center. Buyers beware.

I absolutely positively love Joules Medspa and Laser Center!!! I used to go to a very, very expensive dermatologist in Eagan. I know that the results, the pricing, and service all exceed that previous place and then some! From the moment you walk into the door greeted by the receptionist to the rest of the staff everyone is absolutely fantastic! Grace is an artist at what she does. She will not give you a procedure that you do not need, she takes into consideration what will be best for you your skin, your face and yourself! She will not try to upsell you for a procedure that you do not need. Every time I have left I have been 100% satisfied with the results. I have been going there for several years and theres nowhere better to go. Grace takes her time, is extremely knowledgeable, and does her work full of heart and love!!! I have recommended Joules Medspa and Laser Center and family and I would 100% recommend it to anyone! By far the very very best place I have ever gone for facial procedures!!! I actually have a friend that flies in from Colorado so Grace can work on her skin! She is that meticulous at what she does.

Joules has literally changed the way I feel about myself. Because of Graces extreme passion and professionalism to strive towards reaching a clients maximum potential, I have had the most stunning results. My acne scars have faded 90% and have continued to gradually fade! I first found Joules through groupon and was absolutely blown away by her staff. I have extremely sensitive skin so Grace has worked with me to tailor a treatment plan that best suited me. I have done microdermabrasions, glycolic peels, and the perfect peel twice. Grace is such a positive person and was with me every step of the way when I needed her, she even gave me her personal cell phone in case i had any concerns. If there is any local business I want to support, its hers. I am a loyal customer to Joules and highly recommend this medspa to everyone!! My mother and I drive about 45 minutes to see Grace. SHE IS WORTH IT!!!!!

I have been coming to Joules for years. At Joules, there is no awkwardness and their professionalism really comes through. I dont have any interest in going any where else. I have recommended them to family and friends. I have had several different procedures done here and the rooms are always clean, the staff is courteous, and I always look forward to going. I have had wonderful results here. They listen to what you are trying to achieve and work with you to get it done right. I always feel like I get a good value. That is so important to me these days. I feel like my skin is the best its ever been. I get compliments regularly and always recommend Joules to them. Grace, the manager, is incredible and is top notch in her skin care knowledge. They use high quality products and are aware of the latest trends in skin care. They only use trusted products in their center. I love Joules.

I called the office and talked to the receptionist before I purchased a Groupon for Lazer hair removal. I had no idea what I was getting into but was convinced after that phone call because of the professional, kind, knowledgeable attitude I received over the phone. My first consult I was very nervous and had tons of questions. They answered every question , showed me the lazer and let me see how it felt on my skin and most of all to see if I was a candidate for hair removal. This was the best decision that I have ever made. No more shaving, great results, my fear of showing my body to others since I am over weight was all overcome by doing this. I am actually going to try the Skinpen next. Thank you Joules Med Spa staff and Owner. You sure know how to make a person feel so welcomed and cared about. I really appreciate it and highly recommend this Spa.
