As a business owner I take all reviews very seriously so when I saw the reviews by Dave S and Mike K of course it prompted me to research what happened. What I found was that it just didn’t add up. The review written by Dave S was submitted 3 weeks from the writing of this response however, our records do not indicate any client by the name of Dave S had an appointment in our spa within the last 3 months! Because of the serious and unusual nature of the accusations, I continued to research and found that the writer of the review appears to actually be a local competitor and that indicators appear to link Mike K to Dave S. How very sad that a fellow business owner feels so threatened by healthy competition (which is always good for the customer) has to stoop to something so low as to post a false review. Let me assure you that we pride ourselves on providing a customized service for each of our valued clients. Our spa is known for its clean, calm and serene atmosphere. All of our therapists are well groomed, highly trained with anywhere from 3-10 years of experience. In addition most of our therapists have gone back for additional training and certification in specialty therapies because they want to provide only the highest quality professional therapeutic massage. The real test of truth lies with you, the reader. I invite you to visit our spa and see for yourself the true experience Simply Massage provides. If you are hesitant, stop by to look around and meet the staff before deciding to book an appointment. Review our website and Facebook page to get an understanding of our philosophy and commitment to community. I am confident that once you do this, you will be back. In fact, I am so confident in our exceptional service I want to help you prove these false postings for what they are! Just mention this post and we’ll give you a free Add – On service with your massage or facial! (Please mention when booking so we can schedule the additional time for the add-on service. Online booking cannot accommodate this offer so please call our spa. One per customer.)

This place is really going down the tubes and apparently just hiring therapist based on availability. I really hate giving bad reviews. Ive been to this place numerous times for a massage and my experience has been good for the most part. I have taken a couple of my girlfriends there for a couples massage as well as some cosmetic services. Everything has been great and professional with the exception of two experiences. I have had one bad massage from a woman who works there who in my opinion did not pay much attention to massage school. First off she smelt a bit raunchy. Also she used way too much lotion. She was a bit overweight and pressing her body into my face a few times and breathing heavily as if she was exhausted. I just laughed about it later. Ive had many massages in my life and this one was hardly worth the money I paid. Now recently I have taken my fiance for a romantic couples massage. Omg... wow. We were both very polite as these young inexperienced girls attempted with what seemed like good effort. Again using way too much lotion. Brutally massaging my back is if it was a washboard and simply tickling my calves. Towards the end of the massage she grabbed the hot cloth out of the steamer and put it directly on my feet without first checking to see that it was the right temperature. HOT! OUCH! I almost got up. To say the least it was the most horrible massage ever had my life and I wanted to get up and run!! I know a little bit about massage school and what they teach in these girls didnt seem to know anything. My fiance and I both had tremendous kinks in our neck by the end of the night she could not even turn her head. A few days later I contacted the owner and politely ask for a refund. I may never go back here after this even though the location is convienant. Right now as I write this I still have a tremendous kink in my neck!!! Ouch dont go here without first enquiring about the qualifications of the therapist your schedule for

In response to Mr. Laeeq review, I would like to clarify that a voicemail was left at the number he provided to us. I personally made that call in the morning letting him know his evening appointment would need to be rescheduled and asked him to call us back. His voicemail picked up with his identifying information as the greeting. While it is unfortunate that Mr. Laeeq did not get his message before coming to his appointment, Im not sure what else reasonably could have been done. We called several hours before the appointment and left a detailed message on the phone number that he provided to us. Most reasonable people understand that it is cold & flu season, illness can not be planned and while they maybe disappointed they have to reschedule, are grateful we take not only our staffs health but also our clients health seriously and take precautions to minimize the spread of illness. All other clients received the message regarding rescheduling their appointments that day. If Mr. Laeeq has any suggestions for better handling this type of situation I am open to hearing them and he is free to email us or call me to discuss.

Scam artists!! These guys were checking out my husband from a massage and told him that theyd give him three massages at a discounted price, so he bought the promotion. This happened back in April. But we were traveling in May, traveling in June, traveling twice in July. So finally in August we called up to schedule, and they tell us that they expired a month ago. EXPIRED?? What?? There was NO documentation given to him at the time about these massages. They had both his email and phone number, and there were NO calls to say, "FYI, in case you missed it, these expire." But they are adamant that they told him when he bought it. He bought it immediately after a massage, probably still half asleep. How in the world could you expect him to remember that?? Give him a slip of paper! And then the manager, Kayla, calls and condescendingly explains each piece of the story about 5 or 6 times, because I must not have heard it the first time when she tells me that they expired a month ago. Really???? Bottom line: This business took our money and ran. Atrocious business ethics and TERRIBLE customer service. Well never go back here!

Im not one to write negative reviews, but want to save those who are interested in a good therapeutic massage the time and money. Apparently there are new owners and the environment and therapists have changed drastically. My wife and I have been massaged several times over the past two or three years and the therapists we normally requested (that were very professional and knowledgable) are no longer with the company. I havent seen three of them since the change. The knew therapist I saw this past visit was very "dirty" and treated us like a fast food massage client - "In and out - see ya later, were only here to do the job, dont care about what you think" The previous therapist seemed too confident and thought she should do what she wanted regardless of my comments on pressure and focus. She didnt listen to me. Its very impersonal and unkempt lately. I will not return. Save your money and go somewhere youre treated as a valued client and that has good therapists that love their job.
