After reading this salons reviews I decided to make an appointment for some color and a trim, I must have been mistaken by these reviews, my stylist Ally was a super nice girl but in explaining what I wanted for color, she seemed to understand what I was saying I even brought a picture of what I was looking for, no color swatches were brought out to try to match up, so the color did not turn out not even a little like I wanted and my hair is so very uneven from the cut that I am now forced to cut alot of my hair off, in talking to the so called management, she was ok at first offering to fix it and then it seems the claws came out she ripped me apart for bringing a picture for reference, even though no color swatch was brought out to try to match, and started getting defensive and making me feel like I couldnt come back to fix it, ultimately my money was refunded but it cant replace the day I lost because I couldnt leave my house out of embarrassment for my hair and not to mention having to cut inches off of my hair, I will never give this place a good word for how I was treated today. On a side note the manager even suggested that I must be on medication for the color to not turn out, which I am familiar from working in a salon that it can effect the color and would have disclosed this.

I have been seeing Aly for almost 5 years now. I followed her to this salon because I wont let anyone else touch my hair. I am super picky about my hair, because its super curly but I also like to wear it straight. She never fails to give me the exact color that I want, wether Im just explaining it to her or showing her a picture. I always get so many compliments on my hair. She always offers great advice if she thinks a cut/color will or wont work. She is very realistic when it comes to hair texture/length/etc about how it will turn out. Not only does she do absolutely amazing work, but she is always super friendly, energetic, and upbeat. She makes getting my hair done a whole experience. I suggest her to everyone I know. She also coaches/teaches you when she is styling your hair so you can learn to make it turn out that way everyday. Love her!!! I would give her 100 stars if that were an option. 5 is not enough.

Had an excellent facial this weekend with Caycie. My tired old face looks much more "energized" and it was soooo relaxing! Caycie also is my "go to" girl for body waxing and eyebrow/lash tint and the tint is the longest lasting that I have ever had. She keeps me relaxed and comfortable (both physically and mentally) during my waxing sessions. Barb (owner) has been my colorist and stylist for years and what I love about her (besides her being one of the best colorists ever) is that she stays on top of current hair styles and colors - always educating herself and encouraging everyone else in the salon to do the same. The salon downstairs always has an energizing "buzz" going on. The new space for facials and waxing is wonderfully serene.

Full disclaimer, I have never written a review for anything online before but had such a wonderful experience that I felt compelled to share. I have recently moved to the area and have been searching for a good salon. The reviews were so good for this place so I thought I would give it a try. I went in for a cut and a color and walked out with an adorable bob and the color i have been wanting for ages. The stylist I worked with was Aly and she was AMAZING. Her upbeat warm personality was so inviting and fun. She knew exactly what I wanted and how the color would work for me. I would have to say its one of the best experiences I have had at a salon. After relocating to the suburbs, I needed to find a new salon. I was a little hesitant. I did a lot of research on hair salons across Shakopee, Savage, and Eden Prarie. I decided on this one from a coworker recommendation and from all of the positive reviews on Google. Aly is an amazing cosmetologist. I gave her some ideas of what I was looking for and she made my hair look amazing. I have fine hair so it went from weighed down and lifeless to full of bounce and pep. The price was also very reasonable for a salon in the suburbs. I am so satisfied. I cannot wait to get my hair done here again. I will definitely be a regular customer after my first experience!

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience at this salon. Ive been wanting a particular style for a while and was trying to find the right salon to visit. Pearl salon has such high reviews,I think i had high expectations. The first thing I told the stylist Brooke was that I wanted an undercut. I even had a photo and told her that it was EXACTLY what I wanted. Im still trying to get over the initial shock and disappointment of finding out instead she went a little scissor happy and just cut it all short in the back instead with no undercut at all! Boo-hoo. Totally sad. But I will continue my search for a stylist that will understand my style.

I have taken my daughter (3 years old) to The Pearl & they were absolutely wonderful with her. It takes ALOT of patience to cut a little squirmers hair, and they handled it with ease! I also go there for my hair and absolutely LOVE it! I would recommend them to anyone no matter what the age. If you want to make your little girl feel like a big girl or you want to get away and get pampered, this is the place! They take the time to LISTEN to what you want and deliver! The experience is awesome, right down to the warm towels they use around your neck when you are getting your hair washed! Couldnt ask for a better salon!

I just moved to Shakopee recently and was looking for a locally owned salon since Ive had bad experiences in the past with places like Fantastic Sams. Caycie was my stylist and she did an amazing job on my half-moon bangs! I think this is the first haircut Ive had in a long time where I didnt cringe when I looked into the mirror lol. Not only did she do a great job cutting my bangs and waxing my eyebrows, but she was also very friendly, confident, and took great pride in her work. I will continue to come back and have Caycie maintain my new bangs! Thanks for everything!

Ive been working with this salon for six months. My grandmothers previous stylist no longer could see her and I had a difficult time finding someone to do a traditional roller set and pin curls. Caycie welcomed her with open arms! She special ordered all the supplies she needed and worked my grandmother into her schedule for a weekly visit. My grandma is not an easy person to please, but she cant say enough good things about Caycie and the staff at Pearl Salon! Having grandma happy makes us all happy! Thank you, Caycie and Pearl Salon!
