Amber has done a fabulous job of cutting my thick, coarse hair (which often does not work well with some of the trends). She has given me short cuts and is also now adjusting the shape every 3 months to help get through some of the awkward phases as I grow it out. I say fuzzy vague things about what I want/dont want and she drills me with questions until she understands. Of course, fabulous shampoo/scalp massage before and dried/styled after (I always try to get my haircut when I have an event that evening so I can take advantage of her skills in styling!). I would put this place in the "juuuust right" category. I dont want to pay high-end prices that come with a posh salon but I dont want to settle for CostCutters either. Reccomend but be sure your expectations are for the upper-middle ground.

UNPROFESSIONAL MESS THAT NEEDS TO CLOSE. I went there with a picture of a former cut and color that I enjoyed to have a my hair done, thinking perhaps it was a hidden gem. WRONG. The woman cutting my hair, who did not even have her cosmotology license visible, refused to give me a refund (because it was against her "refund policy" in her head) UNTIL I threatened to contact the Better Business Bureau. While I was there all the stylists would leave their chair to either talk on their own cell phones or answer the company phone rather than let a voicemail get it. If you want REAL customer service, I suggest going to Simonsons Salon nearby off 55 and County Road 101.

Ive had my hair cut, styled and blown out here several times and have been pleased every time. Jessie and Krystal are my favorite stylists and are really flexible with scheduling. I had my hair cut today by Krystal and am really happy with how well she understood just what I wanted and had me in and out of the salon within a reasonable amount of time. The atmosphere at The Style Room is always really fun and casual and the prices cant be beat.

This was my first time at The Style Room (they squeezed me in between work and a hockey game!) and I will definitely return even though it is out of my way. Jessica knew the trends and recommended a hairstyle that suited my lifestyle. I just love it and received a lot of compliments on it already (its been less than 24 hours)! The other staff members were great too, very friendly and welcoming. Nice place to get a style!

I have been going to The Style Room for many years. Ashley is the only person I trust to take care of my hair along with giving me her honest opinion on styles without pressuring me into pricy products. Going to college, I wasnt even going to try to find a new stylist in my new town, I just make my trips home more routine so I can fit in an appointment with Ashley :)

Horrible service, overpriced, pushy on styles, colors and products. I received a color and a hair straightener...within 2 weeks I had numerous amounts of hair starting to fall out. Very unprofessional. I have since started going to another salon, Image Creator and they are far more reputable.

very upset got my prom hair done here, never been their prior to my visit but they only paid attention to regulars, felt very awkward. along with that I showed her a style that was fairly easy, didnt get what I asked for at all. no braid like I asked for, disappointed and wont be returning
