For the first time since I bought my truck new in ‘99 (and after accumulating over 275K miles), I needed transmission work and since my regular shop doesn’t offer that service, I had to find somewhere to go. I’m so glad this happened because I found Village Auto Works in Woodbury. I was pleased that they were very prompt, professional, and helpful from the moment I walked in the door. I knew I had found the place I wanted to get this work done (not to mention that I found a potential great new place to get other work done in the future). The manager, Rich Fitzgerald, explained clearly the services they would perform and immediately offered me a free loaner--something I haven’t received in many years because most places don’t offer that including dealerships that MIGHT offer to rent you a vehicle after much hassle and only if one is available (which wasn’t the case at my most recent dealership visit which took a week and cost me ~$3K so it’s not like it wasn’t a major appointment). Anyway, back to Village Auto Works, they kept me informed about the status of my vehicle even though I wasn’t inconvenienced or out extra money with each passing day because of the free loaner. Now it’s been over a month since I got my truck back and it’s running great! I definitely will be back there again soon and look forward to doing business with them again. What a relief after taking my truck to so many lousy places over many years. I only found one other place I really liked in that time but that place isn’t as convenient and doesn’t have free loaners or rentals. Thank you Village Auto Works and keep up the great work!

My car unexpectedly broke down while I was on my way to Eau Claire WI. I slowly got off at the nearest exit. As my car very noisily limped along, I looked around to find a gas station. What I discovered was even better! I saw a big sign in front of me that read, "We fix everything!" Yay! An answer to prayer!! :) True to the signs word, the very kind, efficient and competent mechanics at Village Autoworks had my car up and running again in about 10 minutes! I was once more, very quickly, on my merry way to Eau Claire! Not only that, but they repaired my car for free saying it was an "easy fix" and they were happy to help me out. :) The nut and bolt holding the bracket to keep my muffler attached had popped off and my muffler was dragging across the ground, making quite a racket! I was so thankful to God and to the wonderful, friendly mechanics at Village Autoworks for their generosity, honesty, hard work, and big hearts! The complementary treats and drinks during my short wait were a delightful treat too! I highly recommend this place for many reasons and applaud them for their compassion to freely help a damsel in distress and for their integrity.

I received an oil change and filter promotional coupon in the mail and decided to give them a try since I live five miles from their shop. I had a wonderful and satisfying experience. The office was bright, clean, comfortable and the reception desk person was very friendly. The coffee was fresh. The coffee, soda, juice, water and chocolate candy were complementary. They were ready for me at the time of my appointment and my service was completed in 33 minutes. They checked 13 other items and found them to be okay. Usually other shops find one or more items they recommend be done. The thing that really impressed me was the list of repairs, roadside service and guarantee they have listed on the back wall of the office plus the free pick up and delivery service they offer. I will return and I recommend others give them a try.

These guys are amazing! Been using this company for years at their Roseville location. Now that Ive moved to Woodbury I couldnt wait to stop in to check out their service center there right next to Cabelas. How convenient! To my surprise I ran in to Calvin, the owners son who took very good care of me many times at their Roseville shop. I was thrilled! As always they were extremely pleasant and did a thorough job of servicing my truck again. Its obvious this family run shop sincerely cares about their customers. Its so nice having a shop you can truly trust. I have sent many friends and co-workers and the feedback from them is always phenomenal. Great job guys!!

Oops! Originally posted to Roseville instead of Woodbury. I have taken my vehicle to Village Auto in Woodbury three times now; once for HVAC and various other minor repairs, the second time for catalytic converter replacement, and most recently for brake service. I was truly impressed on all three occasions. Courteous, Professional, Timely, Responsibly Priced... Need I say more? Once again I had Woodbury Auto Works Service my vehicle on 9/11/2015 and service was Excellent.. I would not trust anyone else with my car. I am editing this review because Google will not give me the option to write another one.

I recently received a coupon mailer, and took advantage of their $17.95 oil change coupon special on my 2014 Hyundai Elantra. I was greeted as soon as I walked into their extremely clean waiting room, given an estimated time of completion, and offered a drink from their mini-frig. I was very impressed by how much thought they have put into their customers, with several drinks available, a comfortable seating area, and even a childrens play table. The wait was within the time frame estimated, including recommendations for my next visit, and the adjustments to my tire pressure. Overall, a very great place.

I had my car repaired at this shop. Without asking me they said they replaced my wipers due to "safety concerns" billing me $40. The next day when it started to rain and I used the "new wipers" it became clear that this shop is not trust worthy. There were no new wipers. They had left my old wipers in place. When I called to ask about what the heck is going on the owner acted like, oops, my bad. Not acceptable. Makes me concerned that what they said they did for repair isnt at all what service I received. Stay away from this place! These guys cant be trusted!

I had bought new car and originally took it into its makers dealership as well as another autoshop. They both gave me a work order telling me the things that needed to be "fixed" and quoted me an outrageous amount. I came to Village for a third opinion and they were incredibly helpful! They took me underneath the car and showed me exactly what is wrong and what wasnt. They ended up rotating my tires no charge, gave me the lowest price and stayed open passed their hours to fix my brakes. Wonderful place with wonderful staff. I would definitely recommend this autoshop!

Ali and Village Auto Works is a great shop you can trust bringing your car! The fact that I have a leased vehicle doesnt stop them from providing excellent customer service. Upon bringing my car in for an oil change, they uncovered a problem with my tie rod. With a little research, they went so far as to find that it was covered under warranty and suggested I bring it in to my dealer to get fixed. Now that is going above and beyond the type of customer service one would expect but unfortunately is not received very often this day in age!
