Wow, that was rough. Armstrong Plumbing plays hardball, and if youre anything like me (a lifelong non-plumber), chances are they will hit you with the full weight of the "idiot tax." What I mean is that I had a plumbing problem that was extremely easy to fix, requiring no replacement equipment at all and taking very little time, but I didnt know enough to look for it myself. When the plumber came I think he had a guess what the problem was, but instead of making the easy fix right on the spot he went back to his van and ran an official estimate. The official estimate was for hundreds of dollars, which I assume was intended to cover the cost of potential replacement equipment and labor. Once I agreed to have the work done, the plumber made the simple fix and was finished in less than ten minutes, no special parts or tools needed. But instead of saying "Hey, that was a really simple thing you could have done yourself in a couple of minutes, let me give you a break on the price," he stuck me with the full price of the estimate. Im sure its perfectly legal, but the kinds of guys I like to do business with dont seem to be interested in squeezing every penny they can out of suckers like me. The good guys seem to be more interested in establishing a friendly long-term relationship, and if my experience with Armstrong Plumbing is any guide, theyre not what I would call good guys. Sorry, Armstrong, but that couple hundred bucks is all youll be getting out of me. You can write me up in your books as one idiot who has learned his lesson.

Totally agree with another review. I had simple insides of the toilet to be replaced. About $10 in parts at Lowes and five minutes of my time, but I didnt have time to do it. The plumber went out to his car, came back in with an estimate that I needed an entirely new toilet. This is about the third time this is happened. Theyre always trying to upsell you into their service plans or new toilets. I told him I would fix it myself, and he left with my toilet making far more noise than it did when I originally called him. After he left I opened up my toilet made a few adjustments and my toilet was perfectly fine and still is to this day. I contacted the main number, who happened to be the owner, and explain to him my frustration with his company and informed him I would never use them again. to his credit he apologized and told me that were not his policy, however Im calling a new plumber today for another repair and it will not be Armstrong sorry

Highly recommend this company. They did the plumbing in our master bath remodel and helped with the installation of the Onyx shower enclosure that we soon found out was out of our expertise range. I have dealt with several different employees at the company and they were all friendly, professional and did great work!

Excellent Company to deal with. The plumber arrived on time and installed a new sump pump.Their plumber was polite, well mannered, clean and wore plastic over his shoes to prevent bringing water in the house from the rainy day.. They also stand behind their works and words. I recommend highly Armstrong Plumbing.

Excellent service. I had a leaking shutoff valve in a bathroom. They came the same day I called, arrived pretty close to the designated time and did a quick & thorough job fixing the problem. No mess, no hassle. Very nice guy. Highly recommend this company.
