Took my Honda to shop with lots of problems. They diagnosed all. Were very friendly, honest and professional. The manager Jeff Smith called me and kept me informed on the progress of the work being done. I was amazed by the timely manner and technicians, (David) work done on my car! They called me when it was about finished, which with all that needed to be done I assumed it would be impossible to be finished in one day. Jeff Smith manager, stated they would even stay open longer in order to get it finished so I could get my car back that day. Runs Great!!!!!!! Have never been happier with any other Auto Shop, even the Honda dealership!! I HIGHLY recommend this KC Complete on troost. Especially being a woman they didnt try to get over on me and explained every to me with great patience. So women out there have no fears they are honest and reliable. I will never take my car to another shop again as long as they keep the Great Techs!!!! Love this Auto Shop!!! Please give it a try? I assure you will be as happy and pleased as I am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sincerely; Linda J. :) :) Sunday took car out for first time drove about 20miles. Got home saw it was still $1000 on it. Called Jeff Smith, manager, he said bring it back in. Was there at 7:15am Tues.dec.3rd. Young man unlocked the door I went in and told him. He proceeded to tell me all the techs. had quit. I ask why would Jeff tell me to bring it in? Jeff he said took a personal day off today. I ask him to come and look at where it was leaking, he came out and looked saying he didnt know anything about cars but would look. Needless to say I was upset so I took my car to another shop. They said all it needed was a Radiator cap and a gasket. After Troost Auto complete took out a new radiator stating it was faulty why in the world wouldnt they put a new radiator cap on it. My daughter called District office to complain. The young man at KC on troost told them I came in to late on Tuesday for anyone to look at it, and when they worked on it Fri.29th. which I got it there at 7:20am they didnt have enough time to fix it properly. God Bless this young man...for if he was my child I would be so--very ashamed of the lies hes told. God forgive him. I am on disability and had to take out a loan which will take me 3 yrs. to pay off. Please do not trust this shop. Its hard enough to take your car not getting fixed properly and taken advantage of but to be lied about is the icing on the cake. I had been going there for 1 and a half years now. As my Daughter and many friends when Lee was Manager, we were always pleased. They will lose our business for good. This new manager will not make it in the area he is in with the crookedness he is practicing. Hes in a neighborhood that is struggling not everyone will sit back and let someone take advantage of them. All I can say is God does not like ugly. For what you reap you shall surely sow!!! I plan on continuing to write and report this so to protect others from being taken advantage of. God Bless you all, though my grandchildren will not get a christmas gift, they do know its all about Jesus, and will never take advantage of anyone. Please treat people right?

Went to the Troost location 2 weeks ago for a new headlight in my Nissan Maxima. Service requires the whole bumper to be removed in order to replace the headlight. After the service I noticed my bumper was uneven, one side was slightly sticking out and there was space btn the headlight & bumper on the other side. Drove back to the store same day and the store manager just took pictures and said he would get back with me after he talked to his boss. 2 days later got a call from Marco, he runs the stores and he pretty much said from the pictures it looks like I hit something and that was why my bumper was uneven. True my car had some scratches on the bumper but those were from months ago and the bumper was intact when i went for the repairs. Long story short my experience was horrible, customer service was lacking. Marco pretty much argued with me several times on the phone telling me they cannot do anything else for me and that the bumper was already messed up, mind you he was not at the store when I first went for the repairs. I finally took it back and they attempted to fix one side of the bumper but its not in the same condition as when i drove to that shop. Would not recommend anyone to go there for major repairs.

At the halfway point of our road trip from Michigan to Arizona, the breaks on my boyfriends 99 Ranger starting making a pretty terrible noise. Without knowing a reliable shop in the area, we chose KC more or less because it was close to where wed stayed the night. We got so lucky! The mechanic was quick to diagnose the truck, and he even walked us around the vehicle to show us exactly what the issues were. The initial quote was printed and itemized, so we knew exactly what we should expect to pay. When we told them wed like to simply get back on the road as safe as possible, for a cheap as possible, they delivered no pressure when discussing what our best option was. The cherry on top was that the entire process took just a few hours, and we were back on the road just after lunch time. We felt they were extremely honest and thorough, and would definitely recommend their services. Thanks to Matt, Sean and the others who gave some great customer service, and a safe ride for the road.

I really wanted to like this place. It is in my neighborhood and has received some good reviews. I just bought a used Prius and needed a basic inspection. Turns out, it needed a bulb and lens replaced which, of course, ended up being far more than I had expected. Totally fine, but what really disappointed me was that it ended up being a 3 day ordeal because they ordered the wrong part the first time, and then after all of the work, we had to take it back because they failed to replace the turn signal bulbs and refasten the wiper fluid container. It is nothing severe, but when I pay nearly $600 for service to a headlight, I would like to know that someone is paying attention to the important details. I will note that they were very apologetic and kind, but I will not be returning here for any significant work. Car trouble is stressful enough without having to check and recheck a mechanics work.

We were from out of town and we came to Kansas City to buy a used truck. After reading the good reviews we choose this shop to inspect the truck before bought it to make sure it didnt have any problems. This shop took care of us and did a great job looking over everything on the truck. I would highly recommend this place it was worth the money to have them look everything over.
