I dont make this accusation lightly and have never done so against any other post office. I think there is a strong possibility (meaning I dont know for sure) that packages are being stolen here. I had an expensive package shipped out of here and the tracking shows it never left the post office. It was a very large package so it would have been impossible for it to have been accidentally misplaced. I can never know for sure of course, but I have my suspicions because this has never happened to me before in all my years of using countless different post offices. Packages have been lost before of course but this one never officially even left the post office as far as the tracking shows. There are only 2 possibilities: someone is stealing packages or someone is so inept that they can manage to misplace/lose a package that is roughly 3 feet by 2 feet by 1 foot. I just wanted to pass along this info; do with it what you will.

I recently had a very bad experience at this post office. I work near here so I went in to get my passport and was referred to "the woman who deals with passports". As soon as I approached her to ask a few questions (because it was the first time I have gotten a passport) she had a terrible attitude and acted as if I was putting her out of her way. She spoke to me like I was an idiot in front of other people that were standing there. She made me feel very uncomfortable to the point where I just left and went to another post office. I told her that she was extremely rude before I left and she had no response to that. I now go out of my way to go to a farther post office where the workers are friendly and enjoyable to deal with. On top of this situation, they are hardly ever stocked with a large amount of stamps...which makes absolutely no sense to me. Avoid this place if at all possible.

I cannot change from this post office; however, I have changed all of my mail to go to my new P.O. box at the Creve Coeur Post Office. Creve Coeur is hands-down one of the most efficient, polite, and professional facilities in the St. Louis area. I had too much trouble receiving my mail at Olivette Post Office--an absolute nightmare. I honestly think they just chuck some mail instead of delivering it. This post office needs to be either closed down or re-staffed with ALL NEW personnel from mail carriers and handlers to management, who are professional, properly trained, and take their jobs seriously.

They are TERRIBLE! We are trying to run a business and never in three years at our location have we seen the mail before noon. It typically arrives between 1 and 2 pm. Weve made several calls to no avail. Only met with rude, ignorant people that dont care. As of today it is almost 4pm and we as a business have yet to get our mail so I call and they wont even let me finish my sentence before cutting me off and giving me some rude rehearsed line. Its no wonder the mail service industry is dying off when you treat people like they do.

I frequently have issues with this Post Office delivering things on time, or simply losing the package. Again today, online it says through my tracking number that they tried to deliver but the business is closed. This is incorrect. They just never showed up. Then when I go to call they either tell me they will call me back, which they never do. Or like right now, I call, it rings forever, then the line goes dead. If there was a way for me to select NEVER USE USPS for my Amazon purchases, I would.

If I could switch post offices I would! They cant pick up mail and they deliver the mail when they feel like it. Theyve lost one of packages and I called to see what happened they didnt know and said theyd call back. I never heard back. I went there on 4 different occasions to do my passport and the one person wasnt there during their schedule hours. Could they have more than one person doing passports? Big Bend has 3! Plus everyone Ive dealt with who rude and didnt know much.

By far worst post office in the st.Louis area. Lost mail, all mail returned to sender, zero forwarded mail after change of address.Incompetnent, rude, ignorant staff that cannort read basic number and when you try to talk to the "manager" who claims they delivered your mail they hang up on you until you call their superiors then they "find" it and dont know why your upset. I dont know why our taxes are paying these peoples salary.

The staff is caring and when mistakes are made, there is an effort to correct them. You just have to be patient and explain the problem. Most problems disappeared after I signed up for no junk mail lists (online) and other privacy options to stop getting unwanted mail. When a package requires a signature and youre not home there is a confusing and dysfunctional process, but I cant really fault the local office for that one.

Every staff person I have experienced has given me excellent, excellent service. I have gone there with a tremendous amount of packages to be sent, often a short time before closing on a Saturday, and they are always helpful, cheerful, and give excellent service. I know most by name--and miss some that have moved on to other offices closer to their home.

The USPS employees at this location provide excellent service. Theyre very amiable and try their best to help you. I wish that a lot of the people who enter the post office would be more respectful and friendlier to these employees. Theyre under quite a bit of pressure and time constraints, but they do their best. Keep up the great work, guys!

This must be the worst post office in St. Louis area, three of my package was disappeared within two months, they dont even know how to delivery to the correct address. Every time I called, they said they will talk to the "carrier" and I never heard anything back. Avoid this post office at all cost, SERIOUSLY.

Not helpful at all. Unhappy people that work here and make you feel like youre just a nuisance. This place is an example of why post office sucks and government is terrible at business. UPS or FedEx is the way to go. Come to Olivette Missouri United States Post Office for Terrible terrible service.

This post office is cleaner than some, but the service is just terrible. Is being miserable a prerequisite of being hired, or do they train them on it after orientation? I wonder...

The mail man I have always puts my mail in the building across the street and I dont understand. My mail is always addressed correctly with the Apt# on it.

I love my post office. Staff is nice, my mail carriers friendly and great. Always get my mail on time. Thank you.

The worst post office ever. They use the excuse that the carriers are in training as to why the service is poor.

These a@@holes loose packages and fail to deliver anything on time. Dont use or live in their servicing area.
