Have been with Charter for a really long time and frankly their internet in my area at least is as good as you can get. However it just doesnt seem like Charter Communications will ever get the message when it comes to customer service. They seem to think our roles are reversed and they are doing me a big favor by allowing me to pay for the service, we dont agree on this and I am going to show them I mean it and switch. Charter wake up, times have changed but you havent at all your customer service is still as horrible as it always was. We dont have to do business with you and frankly all the executives in charge should be sacked because they clearly are not doing their jobs and costing the company millions in profit by not retaining customers. It wont be long before your pay TV business is completely gone just like your phone service and then all you fat cat executives will be getting laid off...as you should be anyway!

They got the wrong name on my account even though I gave them my ID when signing up. I cant resolve this in any other way than an account transfer or going to a local office that opens after I go to work and closes before I get off. Installation was a mess. I could not be there during, and had a friend meet them. The tech ran the cable right through a tree to the middle of the house, and put a bunch of holes in my foundation to run a cable to and from the power box, even though there was already a proper ground ran just for this purpose. When I complained they all but told me "too bad so sad". Their phone system is automated to the point of being useless, and the people there can do little more than what you are capable with their online tools, which are quite limited. Until this gets resolved, the bills will not be paid. Hopefully that guy who they think I am can withstand the credit hit.

terrible service. I went to exchange an old modem/router/wifi combo device for a new modem/router because Charter support told me I need to change for a new one to secure stable performance. After giving me a router and a modem, of which one is OLD, the woman let me sign a receipt, I realized there must be a charge so I asked her, she confirmed yes, there would be a $5 charge, NOT one time, but monthly. Of course this is not acceptable, so I decided not to exchange, but the woman said I have to call charter to get the current device work because she already turn the current device off, WTF!, is this the decent way Chater earning money?

Everything was great first year till the bill went up 40 dollars and not under a contract and was told by to employees there was nothing they could do until I switch back to dish then they said I could get rid of the phone and bill 6 dollars more a month to late they all play the bait and switch I see ugh terrible customer service shame on you and my father by the way is 85 years,old on fixed income and disabled also my mom passed in 2014 thanks charter for nothing

This is a very bad cable company but we stuck with them.They are really pointless. They trick you with good rates in the begin then 6 most to a year they hit you with the real price which is ridiculous. Let the wind blows to hard oops there goes your cable, phone and Internet. With they prices they charge the tower should be winter proof, storm proof and even bullet proof Im just saying they should have a underground tunnel.

Sure, the price of service for internet connection is reasonable. But the service cuts out daily to where a subscriber needs to unplug, reset, and re-plug just to be able to tap into their supposed "high-speed" connection. I have nothing good to say about it. They have a monopoly so there are few options if you arent eligible/are blocked from dish/directv service.

Internet service was great. TV service was substandard. Limited recording to two shows at a time and we could not watch anything else. Our service was down for over 10 days without being fixed and having a recording tell us they would call us when it resumed, it never did and we left for ATT. Telephone service was standard if too expensive but par with ATT.

If I could post with ZERO stars I would. I have been waiting since 11/8/2016, almost 5 months to get 3 cables that run across by backyard. It is ridiculous trying to get this done, I have called them at least a dozen times, do not waste your time on this company if you have other options for cable. Their customer service is deplorable!!!!!!

Awful experiences. Every time I call, I get rude customer service reps. Patronizing, snotty, attitude, just rude! After the 25 minute screening process, I end up wasting an hour just trying to complete a change to my services. Half the time they hang up on you and dont complete or cancel the service out! Do use them. Avoid like the plague!

Never had any issues. Love the higher speed internet. We can watch movies on different computers at the same time without any pausing. Flat rate billing is nice. Had At&t for two years and not once was my bill right after hours every month on the phone. Has hiddens fees and taxes with At&t. I get a person everytime I need help

Great experience with the service, but the customer care has gotten worse every year it seems. We are turning in our equipment today, just done with them. The prices have gone through the ROOF and with our two-year contract up, they wanted to raise our rate by $40/month. No thanks, Charter. Were looking into AT&T now.

This company is full of liars. Customer Service Reps never no what there talking about. Takes 15 calls just to fix the problem. Poor on leaving clear notes for other representatives who they may transfer you to. Leaving to back to Direct Tv and Uverse internet.

Garbage. They want me as a customer but make me drive an HOUR round trip to get a modem? Its all a big scam - every cable internet is a monopoly so they dont have to provide service. Had it two years and always plenty of trouble, never able to fix it correctly.

You call to have service added "it will cost X" says the person on the phone you get the service added and get your bill and it cost more then they told you. Then you call them and they act like you are the one lying. Just a bad company.

Your internet will have problems every 3 months. You will be billed for the full month every time this happens. Your billing amount might even change without you knowing.
