After many phone calls and a letter to the CEO, CL refunded a significant portion of my bill. Too bad it took so long but better late than never. I own a condo in Alabama. I have been paying for phone service for a year for that condo. Since I dont live there I have never had reason to call the unit and my renters usually use cell phones. Turns out the number I have been paying for for a year is not even a number CenturyLink owns and it does not connect to my unit. CenturyLink is now telling me "Too bad, we can only refund 90 days since you didnt tell us about it" In other words, our mistake is your fault; were keeping your 9 months of billing because we got away with it and you didnt figure it out. I would not do business with CenturyLink if you have an option.
