Very disappointed with the options available when charter launched going all digital. The added costs are ridiculous. A box is now required for all Tvs. This means an added 6.99 per tv per month to get even basic or local stations. Previously, the TV could get basic channels without a box but now a box is required or the channels are scrambled. I have several TVs but not all are being used regularly so buying a box and spending the money makes NO sense. In order for me to enjoy the convenience of TV when I want and in whatever room I want through charter my options are now to take the box room to room and connect it each time or pay for additional boxes. Charter gave me other options 1)attach a cable card 2) attach an apple tv to the TVs without a box and watch Netflix.. But to use a cable card, you have to have a cable card slot which most tvs do not have. The option of connecting an apple is ridiculous because it does not solve my problem of getting basic/ local stations which is all I want. If all I wanted was Netflix, Id get rid of charter in full.

Charter SUCKS! Once you get the service, be glad! The tech showed up 3 hours late, after he had called, and claimed it only took him 45 mins. to get here! What happened to the rest of that 3 hours? Then he lied and said I needed a lineman, geesh! When I got a different tech to come out, he installed it very quickly with NO lineman issues, he did however, forget to install the TV in both bedrooms, and Im scared to try to get them back out here. LoL Furthermore, I had a credit of $187.00 and they sent the bill wanting another $138+ dollars. LoL, What a bunch of morons, the right hand obviously doesnt know what the left hand is doing!! AND they seem like a bunch of rip off artists when it comes to getting ANY of your money back from them. To bad its the ONLY service they offer in the middle of sticks, LA. ;)

Charter is a total and complete nightmare!!! they have an amazing internet service and their phone isnt bad either, but their customer service is horrible, their installation technicians are even worse. I had a technician arrive 2 hours late with no phone call letting me know that he was going to be late, and then he ended up being at my home until almost 11 pm!! Not only was he at my home unprofessionally late, but he also hooked up the services incorrectly and nothing worked. When I called to complain I was told that I would be given several credits to my bill, so when my first bill arrive it was for over 338 dollars with no credits! When I called to complain I was told that there was nothing notated in my account about any type of credit!

Wife called to have cables cleaned up and secured because they were just laying on ground. Service tech came when nobody was home and screwed clamps into brick and siding a foot off ground. Ruined siding with holes and holes in mortar on fireplace after another tech took clamps off.No one authorized this work. Called to complain. Field supervisor submitted a claim for repairs. Claim supervisor denied claim and said tech reported we authorized work. (Lie to cover his rear) Supervisor hung up on my wife when she asked if she could appeal to someone higher. I called back but they screen calls and would not return my call. Charter service is horrible. Please use alternative companies for cable or internet services.

customer Service is really bad, could not find the nearest location - even though google was showing the address As I cancelled my service after using it for 2 years- they do not have the courtesy to send me shipping label to return the equipment, I have to drive to physical location of spectrum to return the Modem so they can make more money from it. Avoid them like disease if you can.

Ive been trying to get internet for over a year! I was told by charter my home is 300 ft from the street pole so they would and can do a bury drop. Now after saying my home was serviceable with a bury drop, all of a sudden its unserviceable. Its too bad I cant choose another internet provider. Im stuck with using a hotspot which doesnt meet my internet needs.

Since Ive had Charter, July 14, I have had rock solid reliability. Both internet an TV. I have never needed customer service for anything, except to discontinue my TV service since I never watched TV (Netflix, these days), but I had zero problems in doing that. Back when I signed on, the technician was at my place ON time and was VERY courteous.

Internet cuts out from 2PM to 7PM every day. EVERY. DAY. Customer service is awful, rude, and unhelpful; once they actually told me it was my fault the internet drops. They bill me $54 a month for this. Id switch to AT&T but, from what I assume is in regards to a pact with Satan himself, they are bafflingly even worse.

Ive been trying to get internet from charter for about 6 months.... Charter says that Im too far away. The subdivision next door to my property all have charter.. A neighbor roughly a mile down the road has charter as well and yet they still refuse to hook up to my house due to distance.

Dumped Charter and feeling liberated! Customer service is ok and the products are ok. However, the bill is not. Have seen steady increases over the past couple years and now, its not worth it anymore. Streaming is much more efficient and inexpensive.

I ordered the Internet from my house someone said that they were outside my house left a note on my door I was in the house all day no note on the door and they wanted me to reschedule for the next day I did not get the service I went to AT&T

I had the greatest customer experience of my life. An employee named Mona was the nicest women Ive ever met and it took like 5 minutes to get everything done. Great service and great employees. Keep it up charter! #newmawmaw

Okay prices for Internet. Just wish they would have kept track of my order. Had to reschedule to a later date because of some wires getting crossed on their end.

We canceled Charter except for the wifi. I wasnt going to pay out the butt for TV when all we watch is Netflix. I will say, the wifi has been pretty good
