A real treat! We were traveling through and found these hot springs to visit. First off the woman who helped us, possibly an owner was very friendly, she even let us go back and check it out before purchasing. I think the prices were pretty good for what you get. She was also very helpful to other tourists with local events and things. They do have different weekend hours so check that before going. Rumor has it that its for religious reasons - good for them for taking time off for that. They have some nice sized locker rooms with pay lockers (get change ahead of time at the counter). Showers are required beforehand - grateful for that to help keep the pools clean. They have about 10 different springs pools and post the temperatures. They range from small to one big large one. Theres also one outside. Its a lot of fun to move from pool to pool experiencing the different temperatures. There were two that were cold, which is fun to dip a leg in. There are three in the back end with a glass roof and nice water stream coming out - such a fun experience to feel such hot spring water pouring out. I would imagine its a big draw in the winter. They also have a steam room and sauna. The stream room was quite beautiful, way hot, but they have cold showers flowing, so the combination is quite a unique spa-like experience. My husband and I really enjoyed it. It was fairly crowded, but not too bad. The other people there were friendly. We really enjoyed the spring water and were glad we took the time to visit.

Amazing... but. Apparently the owners are Seventh Day Adventists. Okay, so I can explain how this works, from a people that worshipped on the sabbath LONG before you: live and let live. We dont all pray to your g-d, your way. For the great number of us, to shut off access to gods creation because some after-the-fact man-made religion wants us to be forced to follow suit, is completely wrong-headed. I stood by the front counter at twenty minutes to eight, when a family who really wanted to get in, bubbly and full of joy, was shut down when the staff person told them in the kindest possible way, that their facility was closed on Friday at 8PM until 9PM the following day. A facility built to be a holiday destination. You get someone else to run the place so those of us free from tyranny can enjoy gods creation. There is no reasonable idea behind closing the facility, that has a competant management and staff. Obviously, friday night till saturday night are major traffic times, and its completely inappropriate to have the great majority of people, many of whom are Bozeman locals, be deprived of a natural resource due to a militant, oppressive and imposed disaster.

My kids always enjoy going here - for a kid whats not to love about multiple warm pools, communal toys for use, etc. For parents its another story...We have been going off and on for at least the last 5 years and the showers in the womens locker room have NEVER functioned properly! Today there was little to no water pressure and it took the shower about 5 minutes to heat up from ice cold. Not acceptable for ANY public pool, let alone one that charges what these guys do for a swim! Other signs of dilapidation - waterfalls not functioning properly in the separate hot pools. Yet somehow there is money to add 3 more outdoor pools?! Fix what you have, get the locker rooms in good shape, and then add on. Another fun event today...one of the construction workers was using a leaf blower right next to the "old" outdoor pool that was still open. Super loud and dust blowing over us as we were swimming - almost everyone vacated the pool after this clueless guy started up. Grrr. Not going back if I can help it!

There were children throwing balls that hit my head, 15 year olds squirting me with a squirt gun, hairs in every pool we went in and the showers were absolutely disgusting. There were hairballs, and the showers smelled very sour, I was very thankful to have had my flip flops because I wouldnt dare step in them barefoot. It seems as if they ran out of money because the terrible glass covers at the end by the three small pools look cheap and the plywood fence outside blocking whatever is behind it looks trashy and cheap. A block wall and some landscaping would go a long way. There is grime on every pool we went to. The tile needs to be cleaned/bleached and all the spouts that have water coming out have some sort of white deposit dripping down the tile. I dont need a fancy place, but I do need a clean place and Bozeman Hot Springs is not clean. Save your money and go to any other hot spring around.

There are many pools of various temps, ranging from 66 to 106 F. Inside is loud! The outside pool is nicer because its quieter and seems to be for grown ups. The soak was very nice, but THERE IS NO HOT WATER IN THE SHOWERS IN THE LOCKER ROOMS! I let the guy know at the front desk, he said "weve been having problems with that". I overheard from someone else that they have had a problem with that for the last five years, so I dont think they care. I was pretty disappointed because I really wanted to wash my hair after the soak and I thought it was very ironic that a hot spring lacks hot water in the bathrooms. And, there are no hair dryers, which is ruff when its 10 degrees outside.

Memberships services is terrible and way overpriced. Its a great place to swim if you go right when they open in the morning otherwise you have to fight the crowds. Classes they offer are only during regular work hours for most people. The members changing rooms are very small and the locks on the lockers only keep the honest people honest. The membership side is almost always out of towels so bring your own. The staff seems friendly but very minimal for the traffic. This place should be open friday nights and all saturday. They require a 30 day written notice for a membership cancelation even if you fulfill your contract.

Booked 2 nights directly on the phone with them. 4:00 the 1st afternoon they come and inform us someone else had paid for the spot. They informed us we would have to leave. They offered a spot in the pet potty area for 45.00. Wow. I feel they were less than honest when I tried to get an explanation of the deposit for 2 nights. Extremely poor customer service skills as they did absolutely nothing to assist us. Call another campground???? Help us in any way. Not even a little bit. Will never go back.

Very friendly staff, good showers in the locker rooms, many pools for whatever temperature youre feeling and a laid back atmosphere perfect to relax it. Know that you should bring your own towels and bathing attire, but they have each of those for rent at $1.50 each if you dont have any with you. The outdoor pool was wonderful, and I left this place feeling like a million bucks. It is the first hot springs Ive been to, but I thoroughly enjoyed being introduced to the experience here.
