I, like many here, created this review solely to warn others about this shady corporation. Its unfortunate because I know World Gym Texas City will never take any of these reviews into consideration and adjust their practices. However, if my review will help even one person, its worth it. Please, learn from all of our mistakes. Apparently "I signed" a 12 month contract I WAS NOT AWARE OF. Matt Weston, trainer and fitness manager never mentioned to me it was a contract. He simply put it out as a month to month training session that I could get out of it anytime if I wanted to. LIES!!!! BE AWARE!!!!! When talking to the Pure Core Personal Training people if they want you to sign electronically ask them to show you all the paperwork!!!!!! Dont fall into their lies.

Great gym! Ive been to gyms all over the country and it is pretty good in my opinion. Its not the best one Ive been to and they dont have a wide variety of weight machines available, but they do have most of what people look for. Gym is always clean, dont think Ive ever seen it dirty especially since the lady is always cleaning in there as if shes competing in a marathon (she should get a raise)! I see many people complaining about the staff and management.. Ive only had to deal with them a few times but it was always good and never had a bad experience.

Worse management and dont care additude ever. Could care less if THEY make a mistake on you account with your credit card. Its "well you dont like it we will just cancel your membership, I could care less if you have a membership here or not." If you dont like that they just have security escort you out. Find another gym with management who at least cares...I do t think the manger here could flip burgers. From my understanding the owner also could care less, no wonder his manager has the dont care additude.

Whereas the facility is alright,one needs to watch for charges,I see charges appearing on my credit card statement on a closed account. I spoke about it with a lady manager at gym,who offered her regrets and promised to credit back the amounts,that was last month, and all I see is another charge instead of my money.

Fantastic Gym! Lacy and Kayla, the two managers are absolutely the best. With management as great as they are, and an owner as genuine as Jerome Karam, its no wonder the positive atmosphere of the gym is so contagious!

A very nice gym. It has just about any piece equipment you could want to use to work out. Im a new member so Ill have to wait to see how things turn out before rating any higher but so far Ive been impressed.

I dig it- the only reason it get 4 stars is because they dont clean the showers- how do I know? I accidentally left my soap there 2 weeks ago- its still there :(

This is a great local gym with all of the equipment that you could possibly need. A little pricey, but the convenience makes up for it.
