We needed to replace our roof that was at least 15 years old and opted to also get new gutters and gutter guards. After doing our research and getting numerous bids, we decided to go with Husker Hammer. We requested the entire roof be replaced including the decking which is not a little task. The roof team was efficient, reliable and explained the process every step of the way. The gutters and gutter guard installation was lightning fast, they paid attention to detail and added gutters in a place there wasnt before. Great people throughout the process: Mandy in the office was such a great resource for any questions we had in timeline and follow up, Gary was knowledgeable when he came to bid our property and would stop by to see how the job was going and Jeremiah was a great Project Manager for the roof crew who listened to my concerns and answered all of questions. I highly recommend Husker Hammer and will use them for future projects. Fair bid, great staff and quality work. Thank you for a great experience!

Today ended a 7 month ordeal with this company. The previous owners of our home had contracted with this company to replace a patio door and 3 large windows. The trouble started when they repeatedly cancelled appointments because parts did not come for the patio door; first the glass beading then the trim then then the screens. The company would not call to advise even though it had been months and the order still had not come in. I repeatedly called them to see if materials were in and several times the order had come in yet no one had called to set up an appointment. The staff was never rude to me, they just seemed uninterested in finishing the job. I think there may be a new manager and even a new distributor now but I would approach this business arrangement cautiously.

The hail storm on April 10, 2013 did extensive damage to the 62 homes of our HOA near 138th & Maple. We selected Husker Hammer to perform replacement of damaged roofs, siding, gutters/downspouts, decks, etc. Their work was excellent!. Randy Henke managed the administrative functions with our insurer on our behalf, and everything was pretty seamless from our perspective. Naturally, when hail struck again on May 16th this year, we did not hesitate to hire Husker Hammer again. While we no longer have a blanket insurance policy for our HOA, Randy has been up to the task coordinating among various homeowners and insurance companies. The man deserves a BIG bonus! Well done, Randy! Repairs appear to be nearing completion, and in time to beat ole man winter. Well done!

Our home is a 90+ year old with original windows that were drafty and in sore need of replacement. We did a lot of research and landed on Husker Hammer due to their positive feedback and experience with renovations. They were very patient with us in making our renovation decisions that included keeping the character of our old home. Jim was excellent to work with in the window department, and his installation crew was second to none. Jim was very prompt in returning phone calls and emails and gave great interest to our project. The install crew were friendly, professional and a pleasure to work with. Their attention to detail during and after the install was fantastic. We plan to work with Husker Hammer for our future home renovation needs!

I was interested in using Husker Siding for some work because Matt Cradick (owner) lives in an adjacent neighborhood. (He was referred by a friend.) When I visited the show room, I was helped by a young female and eventually introduced to Mr. Cradick. He was not only standoffish, but borderline rude. He deferred all my questions to his staff and when I asked him about warranties, he didnt seem to have a clue. Shouldnt the owner have knowledge of the products he sells? When I told him I would be getting some additional bids, he acted offended and walked away. This was the first time Ive ever experienced this kind of treatment from a business owner. Sorry Mr. Cradick...Ill take my business elsewhere.

Our home only needed some siding repair. Kyle and his company didnt pressure us to do whole-home siding like the others. I appreciated this honesty even though it would mean less profit for them. The estimate was thorough and all my questions were answered. Husker Hammer was flexible with their dates and kept me informed through to project completion. Now we have top notch work to show off and it was all done at a fair price. Highly recommend this company!

Poor communication, they dont do estimates but they dont tell you that, just show up on a random day (2 months later, after I had moved to another company), do work, then bill for it. The office also demonstrated little accountability for poor management and then were very demanding that I pay immediately (I didnt even know the work was completed). I would suggest someone else. I cant see the quality of the fix itself, its too high.

DID NOT HONOR CONTRACT. Ten days after reaching an agreement with that was signed with the president of the company, the salesman called me back and said they would need more money to do the job because of the shingle type was more expensive than they anticipated. They said no one would do it for the price I was quoted, and sure enough another company would. It delayed my project and was not a pleasant experience at all.

After the summer storms, we needed to replace our gutters and downspouts. Husker Hammer did an excellent job from beginning to end. I appreciate the timely manner everything was handled during a very busy time. The installers were great and cleaned up everything well before they left. The yard and driveway were spotless. One of the worst Customer Service departments I ever dealt with. I had a window that broke so was covered under warranty. After 7 weeks of asking when window would be in with no answer I received name of guy at manufacturer. I called him and my window was shipped that week. It also took them 6 months to paint around my windows to match siding. Wouldnt recommend to anyone

Not sure if they only do repairs and renovations, but I called Randy to get a bid on my new home and sent him the plan. He said he was going to bid siding gutters and roof, but then later on sent me an email back saying he was not interested in doing the job. Two stars because he asked some relevant questions that led me to believe he knew what he was doing at least.
