Im giving 5 stars because the friendliness of the staff, pricing and quality of work were second to none. I received multiple bids to have my gutters replaced but White Castle had the perfect mix of competitive pricing and great reputation. With that being said, I did have an incredibly odd experience with the billing process. I opened up a credit card for this (and a few other) projects to take advantage of a cash back rewards bonus offer. White Castle was very upfront with me that there would be an extra fee for paying with a credit card (worth it to me) but when it came time to pay, I had the hardest time getting them to take my money. I was billed about a month after the work was completed and tried immediately to pay. They do not have an online option (that I could find) so I called in. Everything seemed fine as they took my information but the charge was not showing up on my account. I contacted them multiple times via e-mail and the phone and was told they had processed the charge. Finally, after an hour on the phone with my bank who assured me nothing had been processed, I called them again and had to be quite stern to get them to understand the payment simply did not work. At this point, they agreed to do some research and finally called me back after the weekend and said they figured out the payment did not process the first time. All in all this wasnt that big of a deal but I had to waste a few hours of my time to convince a company they should take my money, which is a first for me.

After last years Omaha storm, I was left with the destruction of my roof, gutter guards and metal around my 9 north windows and garage door. I was looking for someone who had the ability to do it all and do it professionally with their own people(not by hiring subcontractors). Through my own research, I knew I wanted GAF Shingles and Ridge Vent products, so that lead me to the GAF website which is where I was lucky enough to find White Castle Roofing, whom I had not heard of previously. I felt like I had made a perfect choice, from our first meeting though project completion . . . and Im very picky about details!!! I asked for special things, regarding what they were going to park on my driveway . . . they went out of their way to comply to every request! Their entire staff, from the managers to the roofers, were respectful of both me and my property. The gentleman that did the metal work around the windows and garage door is an absolute artist and you could tell he loved what he did for a living!! I appreciate the integrity and professionalism that White Castle Roofing displayed. Sometimes the storm damage turns out to be the least of your problems, when you start dealing with the contractors. That was not the case with White Castle, they were patient and took good care of me and my property. I will use and recommend them every chance I get in the future!!

My chimney was leaking from the backside and I was interested in replacing everything around the chimney. I had four roofing companies come out to give me estimates and after searching online I had a pretty good idea of where the estimate should fall between. Two of the companies had estimates at more than triple what I thought it should be and the other two including White Castle fell right in the middle of what my personal estimate was. All four companies told me the exact same thing on what needed to be done and I was informed that they were super busy from the recent hail storm that came through Omaha and my job was really small in comparison to a whole roof and that it could take a while, up to a month, before they could come to my place. I could only assume the grossly overpriced estimates were from companies that didn’t care if they got the job or not, and that just made them seem untrustworthy. I understood that these roofing companies were all busy; White Castle informed me of the same but they still scheduled me in and were at my house within a week of me excepting their bid. The roofer, Juan, was a very nice guy, I stopped by the house when he was still working and he stopped what he was doing and came down and informed me of what he had found around the chimney. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend these guys to my friends and family.

To paraphrase Mr. Buffet, no contract can overcome a bad contractor. I went through seven bids to find Mike from White Castle. He was patient, presented us with many samples, came back multiple times to entertain our questions, and endured countless questions. The crew completed the work in one day (you don’t want rain on an uncovered roof) and was professional and courteous (I continued to monitor and ask questions the entire time they were here). They actually pulled a building permit (many don’t). In my interviews, you could tell that some did not want to obtain the permit. Two weeks after the roof replacement another White Castle guy showed up and inspected the roof. He climbed around every side of the roof, policed the area for garbage and entertained more questions. In addition they replaced my gutters, and some aluminum cladding (dents from hail). I’m very pleased with the roof. It’s smooth, all the shingle edges align, and attractive (assuming roofs can be attractive). White Castle will be my choice after the next hail storm.

I had 2 different leaks. One was causing damage to my ceiling and the other was causing significant wall damage in the bathroom. I called many companies and because my roof wasnt as bad as many others after the hard hit storm, nobody deemed me important enough to come out and look at it. I finally talked to White Castle and one other company who came out. Jake was very considerate and took the time to show me the pictures of the problems with my roof. As busy as they were with the other homes that were damaged in the storm, he squeezed me in to the schedule. Juan came out and worked on my roof, it included putting in a boot, replacing the ridge shingles and installing new flashing to the chimney. It has rained again since the repair and I have seen no water pouring from the wall or ceiling. The clean-up was so good that you wouldnt of even known he had been there. Thank you again for a great job!!!! I have already recommended you to a friend and will again whenever I hear someone needing repairs!!

I recently needed the services of a roofing contractor to repair several areas of my roof where the strong winter winds had blown off numerous shingles. White Castle responded to my online request for contact the same day I posted the request and contacted me personally the next day. Jake from the Omaha office was out the next day and provided an estimate for repairs (which I thought was very reasonable) the same day. I might mention that many roofing companies would not do repair work, only full replacement. He was able to come out that same week (weather dependent) to do the repair. He brought out two different shingles so he could best match the existing ones which were no longer available. The roof was repaired in little time at all and he also checked and sealed-down the surrounding area. I would recommend White Castle Roofing for your roofing repair or replacement needs and will be calling on them if I need additional roofing work done.
