I signed a 24-mos contract with LVAC, 3 years ago. They refused to cancel my contract over the phone. They said I still owed them money. This of course was not true. My bank denied them 1 payment months ago, due to an error. I agreed to give them my routing info so payments would go through no matter what, in good faith. I was told I had two months left on my contract in their system at which point I would cease being charged. That never happened. My copy of the contract says otherwise and that my term on the contract was expired. The rep refused to cancel my membership. Unbeknownst to me, he put me under month-to-month. I have called multiple times and have the conversations recorded on my phone. The rep denied having received multiple calls and there were no notes in the history. I faxed a copy of the contract which they refused to look at. I called back and they "never received anything, did you use the right fax machine?". When I went across town with a copy of the contract they said they cant use it because the carbon copy was dated. The sales rep who originally filled the contract wrote illegibly and the information was "unreadable". It seems unscrupulous to run a business this way. You squeezed an extra $200 dollars out of me. My intention is for many people to read this and be deterred from joining a facility that is money oriented and not customer or even health oriented. Please be wary. Please keep good notes and recordings from phone calls to protect yourself. I really wish I could say I just had one bad customer rep but, that wasnt the case. I would be willing to change my review if they actually cared, but they dont. Ive been lied to multiple times, over charged multiple times. told I still need to pay cancellation fees even though my contract term has ended and I called before they 2-year term to specifically ask that I dont go on a month-to-month payment system. Attention to detail and a solid customer service department would of prevented this. Im not a suing person but If I continue to be charged on my account I have enough detailed evidence in my favor (Contract, 4 phone recordings, bank statements) that small claims court or applicable legal action will be taken.

Dishonest business practice! The manager Joee Fisher is very rude, and is a liar as well. I have no idea why LVAC would hire a liar as manager to represent the company? Is that the imagine they what to show people? I went there with my friend today as a guest. The manager Joee tried to bring us to the side to get more info about if I have been there before, etc. I told him that I checked this location out before when I considered joining a gym, and I had free access to UNLV gym as a student. I told him I was not interesting sign-in today, if that was he bring us to the side for, so we could both save time. Then he insisted us to follow him, with out clearly explanation the purpose. Therefore, I asked him how long this gonna take. and reminded him that I had limited time for this visit. Guess what? He gave the guest pass back, and asked me to leave! He said, you could save the pass & time. I asked him for an explanation. He just repeated similar sentences which extremely unfriendly attitude. It should be up to me whether I wanna stay or leave. Where did he come to the place to make decision for me? And its dishonesty business practice to refuse redeem members benefit. I requested his name & business card. His name tag was on the uniform, which he couldnt hide. But he lied that he didnt have business card. Really? LVAC is too cheap to provide its MANAGER business card, is that the message he tries to tell me? Okay, then I decided to write down his name for my reference. My friend didnt have pen with her. So I turned around asked to borrow the pen in his hand. Guess what? He already hided the pen, and lied AGAIN:" I dont have pen." What a liar! A MANAGER of this club just lied in front of all his employees & all presented members, while everyone saw he how he hided his pen!! What kind of person he is? Completed dishonest & shameless! If my employee ruining my business reputation like this, I would fire him right on the spot! With a MANAGER like this, I would never consider be a member with LVAC!

I go there almost every day except for the weekends. I love the environment, I love the juice bar, and I love the womens gym. I have given a review before on another lvac which the service there is great too. The difference is this particular location, the staff are very neutral. Which I like that. I once did have a bad experience but I look at it as one bad situation is nothing compare to the other great times. I give this place of 5-star because they are clean, professional, and if youre there to work out, then you pick the right gym. Remember if the staff are serious, thats how they are. Youre there to work out and make a change in your life style. Were not there to impress the staff. An advise for everybody whos thinking about signing up, this is a two-year contract so once you sign up you are dedicated to pay every month.. now remember, if you cancel the membership before that you do have to pay a fee so if youre dedicated to go to the gym at least 3 times a week for half an hour if not an hour, then this is a perfect gym for you. Dont forget to read the contract.!! I seen some really dumb reviews of people complaining of the contract and how they couldnt cancel it and how rude the staff was regarding canceling the contract. I understand why the staff get upset. They even tell you but some people dont take the time to listen or ask. They are not going to read every single page to you. Management at the Flamingo West Club are a bunch of Thyroid pumping SCARY IDIOTS. When I brought a deceptive practice to their attention they put me in a room with their Manager GOON who came within a 1/2 of an inch in front of my face screaming and spitting on me, seriously! On another occasion I was ripped off by a Trainer they introduced me to and they dismissed me immediately. This club doesnt give a crap about you. Once they have your Money you are dirt to them. To think their Manger treats their members in this manner is absurd and a horror! Corporate Offices dont give a crap either, I called them a few times and never got a call back. So its definitely trickle down from the top down to their clubs to show their members NO Respect. So join knowing you are nothing but crap to them once they have your signature and $$$$. One other word of warning, They wont let you take the contract home to read it prior to signing so be prepared to take the time needed to read it completely before signing. If youre going for the top package that is supposed to include your family, it doesnt or at best covers them for 1 out of the 3 years youre signing for. They offer nothing up in your best interest advice-wise so do not assume anything, ask every possible question as again once you sign youre rat droppings to Management and this Corporation.
