LT was recommended to me by a friend and I am very thankful! Heres my ridiculous story and how LT has helped me. I brought my car in because it was overheating, turns out it was a leaky hose as expected. They fixed this problem inexpensively and quickly. Then I had chocolate in my ignition (dont ask) which made it so I couldnt lock my car and it constantly made a ding-ing noise as if the door was open. They kindly went out there with some magic potion and got it unstuck :) Then I finally decided to have them look at my suspension because my car was floating around and when I went over any bumpy patch it rattled like it was going to fall apart. I didnt take it in earlier because I knew my car was getting old and it would be a serious fix. Sure thing, I brought my car in and it needed new struts. Unfortunately this is an expensive fix due to the type of car. John called around to all the places in town to try to get the parts for cheaper but they simply arent available after-market. John called me and explained the situation, there was no light way to put it. They didnt recommend I keep driving it because the whole structure of the suspension is compromised (ie. they care about my safety) but also didnt recommend I fix it because of the cost. It would cost more to get it fixed than its worth. At 190k+ miles, my 96 Mazda isnt worth much. I appreciate their honesty since they werent just interested in getting the business. So now I have a car I need to sell. Takers anyone? We have another old car sitting around so I brought it in to make sure it is in as good of shape as possible so I can safely drive it around town, albeit not in style. They replaced the belt, the brakes, the muffler (it had a hole in it), the ignition switch thingy (it was almost impossible to start before) and many other things. Thank you for making sure I am safe without breaking the bank!

iews 5 ★ 4 ★ 3 ★ 2 ★ 1 ★ 4.5 13 reviews Jonathan Klein in the last week As being advertised for being "the dealers alternative" !!! Offering quality repairs and friendly costomer service at a fair price."Bull*hit*". I had called and went in for a diagnostic check/ quote for multiple services including oil change, cooling system flush and tune up ect. With that being said. I felt like it was a bunch of back yard mechanics there just Standing behind The "Napa"Logo .Asume I experienced The completely oposite from what their website "Their mission" was ect. Their ascociate acted like a skeleton ! Was Quoted over 200$ more then dealer.invoices wasover charged ,the quantitys supplies was over .said had leak in oil cap..turned out false..dealer verified! Il go dealer where they dont scam veterans..i felt like they was trying to take advantage of the situation..its night and day from what they say they are on paper to whats in thier shop! Glad i chose not to work with them.

I went to this place to have my truck checked for a heat engine issue I was told; That he was going to do an inspection To find out what the problem was I was told it was a temperature sensor and that the work would cost me 275 I pay for a job they never did My truck still had the same problem I came back and they told me I had to check again When they call me back they to me to say that they had already found the problem they wanted to charge me $ 1200 more Which meant that the 275 who had already was paid was just for nothing because they never do nothing to my truck They did not want to return the money from the temperature sensor if it worked because according to them is what the computer said I never go back to visit this shop this guys are not a mechanic

Mark, the owner, stands by his work. After having oil cooler lines replace, and then leak, and then be replaced again, one of them blew... and then my engine wouldnt turn over. No questions / no hassles, they installed a new (refurbished) engine in my 1999 Suburban and took care of everything at no additional cost to me. (The employee who did the oil cooler lines is no longer employed there.) Bottom line, what could have been a very heated back-and-forth, while certainly not convenient for me, was handled very professionally. Simply put, they did what was right! Hats off, b/c seems like very few people do that any more!! LT Automotive has earned my longtime loyalty.

Bruce and the LT Automotive Team have been an excellent company to do business with. I have a child who attends UNR and when car problems came up I had no leads where to take the car for repairs. I took a chance on LT Automotive through a google search and reading the reviews. My experience has been 100% over the phone and terrific, Bruce and his team took care of the problem with my childs car, and in other cases gave us honest feedback and service. I now have a mechanic I am happy with and will always send my childs car to in the future.

I have taken my 2500 Dodge Diesel Truck to these guys for a couple of very big repairs, and Travis, along with the other members of the repair team, were not only knowledgeable but explained the problem and exactly what the repair would entail. I have the upmost confidence in this shop and will keep taking my truck back to them for whatever it needs. I also must say that I have never had to take my truck back because something wasnt repaired correctly. Great Shop, Great People!

LT was recommended to me by a business colleague as a company that can be trusted. I have used them over the past ten years for mostly major repairs on a motor home and several used cars. They have always been honest and fair priced with us. They have never recommended unnecessary repairs for any of my cars. The shop is in a very safe area of town, and they are very pleasant guys to work with.

I was told by LT that I had a leaking head gasket and it was going to cost almost $2200.00. So the next day I took it for a second opinion. He said LT must have sprayed antifreeze on it to make it look like it was leaking. There is nothing wrong with you head gaskets. The guy didnt charge me a penny. If you want to keep money in your pocket, stay away from LT.

LT Automotive did a great job replacing the starter on my 1995 Saturn. This was a knuckle-busting kind of job that I was happy to pay someone else to do. They completed the job in one day and the price was right. I highly recommend you talk with Mark, Bruce and the crew at LT Automotive about repairs and regular service for your car or truck.

LT were happy to fit a starter motor to my Camry after I bought the part at a local wrecker, which many other shops wouldnt do. Friendly helpful staff with quick same-day service! Thanks a lot.
