Ok for the most part but they lie/mislead to get you in there. And have fees on top of fees on fees. They told us on the phone that the unit was $110. We get there. Its $170/month than they go off to tell us we saved on a "labor day sell" almost 50%. So its 300 for a 10x15 unit? Lmao BS. No one has a unit for over $200. I get it you need to buy a lock but $20 bucks? I get they wanna make money off a lock but its a $5 dollar lock at home Depot. Didnt get one because some units have number pad locks. Than a $25 "admin fee" whats an admin fee for? Why not just build that into the price..oh they wont cause $100 sounds a lot more attractive to come in. Also they lied about being g prorated. They said that if we checked out of storage earlier than rent being due. They give you a prorated cash amount. They manager was nice explaining it saying thats not true but that doesnt save me money or let me eat for the week. Other things. There is only 3 flatcarts and 7 or 8 times out of 10 they are being used. Why isnt there more? 3 is low. Maybe it helps limit traffic who knows. Not saying there should be 30 of them but at least 5 or 6 should surfice. So make sure you pick a time to go where no one does. Most of the time I went there was people but go earlier and you are ok. Also the bathrooms are ok. Its nice to have them but no paper towels or ha d blower. Also they are Nazis about trash. They have a giant dumpster that you cannot use for anything or $500 fine. I guess I understand that per se(so people arent leaving couches and such) but this much you should get some trash deposal for broken cardboard etc at least a smaller one and say if there is anything that does not fit or left outside the dumbster there is a $500 fine. Units were pretty nice. Gates close and open nice and have rubber seals to help prevent some bugs or bedbugs from other units. Hallway doors could be bigger. Silly they are small so a dresser would need to go sideways. I understand doors are needed for fire reasons but they can be bigger. Going to go with someone else next time. ...

I have no words that could truly express how amazing Mariela is and how hard she works and how good she makes Public Storage look. I had my storage unit for nine years. All I can say is, God has placed here in that location in Manchester, New Hampshire. Nine grueling years that i made that payment every month, despite numerous tragedies and things that happened...I made it every month b/c of the beloved pictures and writings in there. Nobody ever misses their furniture or old mildewy clothes. But it was the pictures that were are worth more than a million dollars to me. The only thing worth more than a million dollars to me are great and truly compassionate service. Mariela embodies that through who she is and the service she provides. And it was not just me that she provides the amazing service to; It is EVERYONE that walks through the door. She is worlds apart from the service just a few years ago. This review is long overdue; and for that I am sorry. I just want to let Mariela know that if it was not for her and her help while I was going through my unit and letting me use the restroom to wash my hands and being so kind to those coming in to help me, I would not have made it. Mariela is truly loving and sweet and is the consummate people person. She is amazing and I am a better person for having met her. I saw how she treated prospective and new customers and she had the same compassionate service and care with all of them. Public Storage CORPORATE: PLEASE REWARD HER. TO ALL MANAGERS, DISTRICT, REGIONAL AND BEYOND...PLEASE REWARD HER. She truly loves people, truly loves her job and Public Storage and I am truly lucky to have met her and crossed paths with her. Mariela, thanks for being there that week for me so I could get a task done that I finally had the money to go and do...flying out from the Northwest to go out to FINALLY go through my storage unit. Love to you and all that you do!!!, Love and Peace, Rebekah

As soon as i got in, I knew I would regret this. Its all outdoor and right next to some woods. Its very far out of town and difficult to access. Not to mention, you have to make an insane u turn in a three way junction with active traffic. The clerk that opened the account was OK and helpful. However the light was out and the storage i later discovered was not as clean as it could be, but i didnt have time to get a new one. The clerk when i was emptying out was rude and not in any clear uniform, altho it was dark. He did change the light however when i mentioned. He didnt explain clearly about how to close the account. On that note, after six months, the rent went up, which is one reason i left. A lot of my stuff was dusty and had dead bugs and spider webs and insect poop if not rat poop. I would never use this public storage again. I think theres a better place on the west side in the mills thats cheaper, 24 access and inside. Oh yea, this dump also closes the gate at 9 even if you have an access code.

This was the absolute most miserable experience I ever had. This was the first time I ever used a Storage unit. The guy behind the counter was Rude, Tried to speak down to me, and treated me like a child. The rates have been constantly going up.... Then to top it all off, 3 cash payments were never recorded or "we didnt record them" and they "inventoried" my unit. What that apparently meant was we will cut your lock, break your foot board and dresser drawer, then we will take half your stuff. I took photos and they said.... "There is nothing we can do for you" even though their policy is to involve police so I could make a claim. It was not allowed to happen. This business is unprofessional and worst, treated me like I was some sort of idiot. I am reporting this as much as possible

I recently went online to find the closest Public Storage facility next to me.Once I arrived @ the S.Willow St. location I was greeted with a huge smile and "Hello" how can I help you today, after giving Mariela my information she then explained to me my options and size of unit I would need as well as walking me to unit so that I could actually see the layout,on the walk over she was answering questions that I was planning on asking before I even had a chance to ask ! She was a great help to me and should be a reflection on what every employee should be like. I will return in the future and tell ALL my friends, family, and even strangers that if they ever need to rent a storage unit in the future to go see MARIELA......
