Im not car-savvy, so the check engine light coming on is kind of disastrous. Turns out, autozone will run their OBD tool on your car for free! This was a huge relief, I got my specific error code, as well as advice from the helpful store staff about how to move forward, and Im no longer flying in blind. Though I didnt need a part at the time, I was really pleased with how helpful and attentive they were. They could tell Im not savvy and they took the time to explain things rather than try to sell me something that wouldnt work.

AutoZone has late hours on Sundays and it was a Sunday afternoon when my battery died. I got a jump start and headed straight to AutoZone one hour before closing (8:00 pm). Daniel selected a great Duralast battery, processed my purchase (while also quickly helping another customer find a part), and then got his wrench set and installed it in my car right in the parking lot. I was in and out of AutoZone with a freshly installed battery in just 25 minutes and the price was very good. Doesnt get much better than this.

My head light blew out just as it was getting dark . Stopped in at The Auto Zone Store on Lakewood Rd just west of Point Pleasant and received prompt attention by a new employee Jason Went to car checked out proper bulb and 10 minutes later I was driving away with new installed bulb . Polite courteous service . I paid for the bulb and he put it in at no extra charge , as is customary for the store to do . Thank you Jason Thank you and it certainly was a pleasant experience .
